We grabbed a quick bite here after an event. We got their tofu banh mi and the drip banh mi. The caramelized onions in their sandwiches make them stand out. The drip sandwich came with bone broth to drip the sando in and made it even more delicious. Service was great, the chef was helpful in suggesting their famous fare and the ambiance was new & modern. read more

I love the food here! We got the spring rolls, honey fried chicken, and bánh mì drip. The bánh mì drip had a perfect balance of crispiness and sauce. The honey chicken was surely the best chicken ever. I also want to call out how kind Jasmine was in explaining all the menu items to us. She was super patient and kind, making us want to order more. Incredible. For my wife and I, we struggle to find a good banh mi place that ACTUALLY impresses us. This definitely did. Talk about a trip to flavor savor town. We got the Banh Mi Drip with one marrow soup. Unbelievable. We left 2 hours ago and I can still taste it. I even drank the bone marrow soup leftovers before we left. Must go and try this. I don't think I've ever ran that fast home to write a review! My partner and I had such a great experience at this cafe! From the minute we walked in, we felt a warm welcome by the staff and they were very friendly and helpful. Seriously, we walked in 20 minutes after they closed and they still welcomed us in with nice and friendly smiles! We got the Bánh Mì Dip and I was in heaven as soon as I took my first bite. The meat was so flavorful and tender - absolutely amazing! One thing I would suggest to the owner is to make the broth a bit thicker to help the sandwich latch onto the soup easier and concentrate the broth. My partner ate this up! We also got the Pork Bánh Mì which was just as amazing! The pork was perfectly balanced with savory and sweet goodness. I also enjoyed the crisp on the veggies a lot, creating a symphony of flavors with every bite! The fish sauce wings were juicy and flavorful! This is a MUST!! You won't regret it! I haven't had such good wings in awhile. I would definitely drive from Bellevue to come here again - the service and food were above and beyond! read more

Just got a chance to try this new Vietnamese spot in Pioneer Square called Saigon Drip Cafe yesterday. It has only been open for about a month now and I've been hearing a decent amount about it from my viet friends. Coming into Saigon Drip Cafe, I really liked the aesthetics of it. The Taylor swift cut out was really funny. I also like how you can order on the kiosks. They have a huge variety of breakfast croissants, banh mi, pho, and more. They have two kinds of off brand sriracha too It's rare to see a more modern look to these Vietnamese restaurant style cafes in Seattle and they did a great job. I tried two things on their menu this time. I wanted to try the most popular items. The first item I got was the Ribeye Hot pot pho which was a cool concept. You don't see this often in Seattle as you do in SoCal. I really enjoyed the meat and the pho wasn't bad either. The second thing I got was the banh mi dip I think is what it's called and it was really flavorful with the perfect amount of crunch. Overall, I would give it a 4.3/5 only because it is a little pricier than some other places but that should not scare you away and would come to check out the other stuff like the pork belly banh mi. read more

This restaurant is the opposite of authentic. As a Vietnamese American, I was not impressed with any of the food we ordered. We got the banh mi with the dipping broth, a pork vermicelli bowl, and the caramelized onion fish sauce wings. The food was about average, but the prices were absurdly high. The banh mi was $17 and smaller than banh mi I get at more authentic restaurants for less than $10. The vermicelli bowl was a good size, but the flavor and quality of the meat left a lot to be desired. Finally, the chicken wings were good but they were expensive at $14 for 5 wings. They were also really small wings. The restaurant is what I call an "order on a screen" style where you order yourself and the servers bring you your food based on your name/order number. The service was average. No issues at all. The restaurant itself looks like a modern take on Vietnamese restaurants. It's definitely trying to pull in a younger crowd. I'm fine with that, but the average quality of the food and the prices that they're asking for it are too high to justify coming back here. read more

Came here for lunch on a cold day, without much expectation (as a pho snob) but wow I was blown away! The pho broth was fatty and flavorful (unintentionally did not skim fat layer off?), which I didn't mind on this cold day as a layer to keep me warm! Definitely plenty of steak in the bowl. The Yelp checkin allowed me to try their Nem Nuong (Vietnamese sausage) spring roll appetizer for free ($9 value) and it also met expectations! Their sauce accommodating the roll was sweet but flavors were there. Clean ambiance inside the restaurant with tall ceilings. I'll definitely be coming back on another cold day! read more

Ordered: Banh mi drip Piggylicious Cult cut classic (dac biet) Caramelized fish sauce chicken wings Wednesday the wings are BOGO which were 10 pieces for $12 The banh mis had lots with protein - brisket, pork, cold cuts. The pickled daikon/carrots were fresh and tangy. The batter and cook on the wings was tasty. The banh mi drip is obviously their play on a French dip sandwich. This wasn't my personal order but shared half with a friend - the bone marrow broth was decent for dipping. Price for this seemed high to me, but the time/energy that goes into making the brisket, might make up for that. My next go around I will probably try their breakfast sandwiches - which are on croissants instead of a baguettes. And have eggs which I love in my banh mis. "One hundred thumbs up!" is the review I heard someone share at our community table. Loved that I could have delicious Vietnamese coffee and sandwich and then share the bun bo hue hotpot at our table. Best service I've had in a very long time. Stopped here with my lady on our way to the airport and glad we did. Great spot for a quick bite, so many great options for bahn mi and appetizers! Also plenty of beverage options from boba to beer. We got the fresh rolls for an app that were tasteful along with the sauce provided, and got the popular #1 bahn mi brisket option with the bone marrow broth, which was amazing when you dip the sando in there (hint hint)! I've been meaning to come here since they opened and I finally made it today. Came with my friend and we both ordered the bahn mi drip and shared an order of the fish sauce wings. For such a cold day, a sandwich with a hot broth as a dip hit the spot in ways I can't describe. I can't say what I got was very vietnamese - the bahn mi was closer to a philly cheesestake than a traditional bahn mi and it kinda felt like a french dip. But was it delicious? Very. And their wings, while on the pricier side, were also amazing. Crispy, fragrant, saucy. Basically, everything was great. Word of warning though this is a messy meal. I give myself an F- in table manners bc i probably looked like a caveman while eating. Don't think I've made such a big mess in a long long time. And everyone there was so nice! Stopped by here midday on Sunday. Tried many places in downtown Seattle. This isn't your standard Vietnamese Pho or Banh Mi joint. It's a bit creative and jam packed with flavors. Their satè made in house is good too. Had the brisket pho, banh mi dip, wings, bo la lot, and some beers. Really enjoyed the Banh Mi dip which is like a French dip meets Banh mi. This sandwich is absolutely lathered with aioli - practically dripping with it. This boosted the overall flavor so much, especially because this aioli was addictingly good. In my experience, the amount of sauce has been directly proportional to how much I enjoyed a sandwich, and when the sauce is this good - it's even on the top of the bun! - i absolutely loved it Somehow the lettuce stayed crunchy despite all the otherwise wetness going on in the sandwich. I think Big Mike's is a great choice if you want a hearty, meat-filled sandwich and you happen to be in the area. However, I think you could be happy with another dining option in the Armory, too. I discovered this restaurant through social media. I opted for the Ribeye Steak Pho Hot Pot. Although I didn't check in until after placing my order, the staff were exceptionally accommodating and allowed me to utilize my check-in deal for a complimentary appetizer, enabling me to sample their wings. The hot pot dishes are priced at market value; my ribeye steak pho was $38 during my visit--admittedly on the higher side--but ample enough to serve two. The ribeye was fresh and tender, while the broth was pleasant, though it failed to make a strong impression, which was somewhat disappointing. On the other hand, the noodles were exceptional, cooked to a texture that I particularly enjoy. I visited around 3 p.m. and found parking right outside the cafe with no hassle. There was no line, and I was greeted right away by friendly staff. The dining room had a cozy, festive vibe with plenty of seating. I opted for a Bánh Mì Drip to-go, and while it didn't look like a traditional bánh mì, the flavor was outstanding. It had a similar feel to a Philly cheesesteak, but it was less greasy and packed with more depth of flavor. The broth was unique and really elevated the sandwich, making each bite soft and savory. At $17, it's on the pricier side, but it's definitely worth the experience. I'd happily come back, though probably not too often due to the cost. If you haven't tried the brisket pho at Saigon Drip, you are seriously missing out. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the brisket is melt in your mouth perfection. And don't even get me started on the Banh Mi Drip Sandwich, it's a flavor explosion with every bite! Their fish sauce wings are also to die for. Crispy, a little tangy, and super addictive! What really makes Saigon Drip stand out are the incredible owners and staff. They're the friendliest, most hospitable bunch you'll ever meet. They make you feel like a VIP every time you walk in the door. So if you're in the mood for some amazing Vietnamese food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, Saigon Drip is the place to be. I'm so glad I stumbled upon Saigon Drip cafe! Their Vietnamese cuisine is authentic and mouth-watering. The Brisket Pho was a highlight - the beef was tender and flavorful, and the broth was rich and savory. I also loved the Vermicelli Noodle Bowl, with its fresh veggies and perfectly cooked noodles. However, the seating area was a bit cramped and noisy. It felt like they were trying to pack in as many tables as possible, which made for a less-than-relaxing dining experience. That being said, the excellent food and friendly service make up for the lackluster seating. I'd definitely recommend for takeout or delivery - or, if you don't mind a bustling atmosphere, dine-in is still a great option especially for this cold Seattle weather! read more

We just landed in Seattle from Phoenix--tired, hungry, and ready to snap at each other after a day of airports. We stumbled into Saigon Drip Café, and Allen instantly turned things around. He welcomed our travel-weary family, helped us get settled, and made sure we were taken care of. The pho was exactly what we needed--comforting broth, fresh herbs, and noodles that brought us back to life. And the bánh mì? Absolutely delicious, especially with the onions mixed in. Even the kids stopped complaining once the food hit the table (a true miracle). This place set the tone for our whole trip. If you're hungry in Seattle, Saigon Drip is a must. A Delightful Return Visit - We returned to this fast casual spot, and perhaps I wasn't in the right frame of mind during my previous visit, but this time was truly exceptional! The Banh Mi Drip ($15) was a sumptuous treat--tender, juicy brisket complemented by a delectable sauce, all encased in a perfectly crispy yet soft baguette. My partner thoroughly enjoyed the chicken vermicelli bowl ($17), which offered generous portions. While the prices are on the higher end for Vietnamese cuisine, the quality and flair of the dishes justify the cost. Nostalgia Meets Modern! I came here with high expectations hearing from others talk about this must-try new Vietnamese cuisine and, honestly, it did not disappoint. The atmosphere reminds of me the street food in Vietnam with a modern twist. They have the Hanoi style noodles which are wider than standard pho noodles which is perfect with the amazing pho broth. Hands down, the best thing on the menu is the Banh Mi Dip. The brisket is tender, and dipping it into the bone marrow pho broth takes it to a whole new level. I had a wonderful experience at Saigon Drip Café, and a lot of that was thanks to Vivian's exceptional service. She was friendly, attentive, and ensured my order was taken with care. Vivian went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, checking in to see if I needed anything and delivering my food promptly. Her positive attitude made the whole experience even better.
