Affordable and tasty! Was the perfect lunch after a drive from Portland to Seattle. Only tried their Banh Mi but the next time I'm in town, I'll be sure to try more from their menu.

I been getting banh mi here for years now and it always hits. It's a cute little deli in the little Saigon area and they sell a lot of traditional Vietnamese food and snacks. My family has always loved their pork sausage banh mi and I love their cold cuts as that's my go to type. I also got a new item for me (don't know the name) and it was also really good and I recommend

We came here for bahn mi and display package food. This deli store has most of the Vietnamese street food. You can order different bahn mi. We got the grilled pork, 3 kind of ham and bbq ham, meat ball sandwiches. I like the most is three kind of ham. The grilled pork needs a bit sweeter. We also got some packages food. The range in different price. We got some fresh roll, rice paste roll, sweet desert. We also got some lunch special with two items protein. All food is tasty.

This banh mi makes me so happy. Buying it feels so vindicating to me, like something in me just relaxes paying this amount for a very very generously sized sandwich. Very nice classic banh mi, good pork, bread was soft but flaky. Brings me back to like 10 years and makes me feel like things are right in the world. I mean it's like $6 what's not to like. And they have so many other prepared foods too.

A Little Saigon staple, OG to the max. The traffic that has come through here through the decades has been constant and still is. Place is a tad worn down from all the traffic but still solid. Based on most recent quick bite, the #3 BBQ 3 kinds Ham for $7 is easy 4 Star. Filling, crunchy, tasty, very hard to beat for $7. Not only a survivor, but still a lead runner for value that packs a punch with flavor.

This has been my go-to banh mi spot in Seattle, and I consider it one of the best in the city. There's a decent-sized parking area next to the deli, which is rare to find for CID/Little Saigon. The mornings are supposedly busy, but I usually end up coming during slower hours. Staff tend to be quite friendly with me, and orders come out quick. I always get the banh mi special here, but most of the banh mi's I have tried at Saigon Deli has always been perfect for when I need a quick and affordable lunch. A few days ago I got a sandwich to-go and ate it at Hing hay park, definitely recommend doing that if you're trying to adsorb the environment and culture around you. They also have other packed deli items which I've liked. Valid Vietnamese deli in my books.

Im from NY and the prices here are amazing for the quality of the food. I had 2 bahn mi and both were delicious. Everytime im I Seattle I will make it a point to come here.

Came back to pick up sandwiches again for my trip to BOS. I ordered 3 sandwiches, 2 without cilantro... got 1 made correctly. Ordered a mixed plate with beef stew and curry, received a plate with curry and sweet sour chicken. On the plus side, their spring rolls are delicious, the curry was decent, and sweet sour chicken was good... for something I never wanted. The workers aren't very friendly and the language barrier makes for incorrect orders, or they just don't care. I would suggest checking your order before you leave, this is the second out of two times my order was wrong, or made incorrectly.

This is one of those places where you get some good food quickly and without any frills. They have an assortment of items to choose from. It's set up as a deli style place that prefers cash. We ordered a traditional banh mi to share while we wait for our lunch spot to be opened. The banh mi was perfectly made and packed full of meat and veggies. It's one of the best banh mi in town.

This is a hidden gem! For less than $6, you get a massive banh mi! I got the all meat combo, it is very tasty with all the fillings, and I like to bring it home and toast up the buns again (removing the veggies before toasting and adding on top again after). The parking is easy and right next to the store. They prefer cash, and they are always kind. The service is fast so there is typically no wait. This spot is takeaway, and no seating inside. The outside might be a little scary area wise, but I like to hop in and out and eat at home! Highly recommend this deli shop!

5/5 Vietnamese sandwiches. We got the #2- traditional ham and #5 - tofu veggie. The tofu was lemongrass seasoned and very good! The bread was good and soft. We ate it 3 hrs after we ordered it and it was still very good. I ate my whole sandwich. Imagine if we ate it right away when that bread was warm and toasty! We got the viet coffee. It was good and strong! Location in the international district was rough and super sketchy w/ lots of homeless. We walked there from Chinatown. Don't do it. The walk made me lose my appetite. So close your eyes if you decide to walk there. If I was by myself or other women, I wouldn't have done that walk. Once we left the area... the sandwich became magic.

Went on a hike with my dad later this day so we decided to get banh mis on the way as my dad was visiting and we are Vietnamese. My dad was very happy because there was parking right next to it which made it a breeze to go in and out. This spot is very popping, and has a grocery feel with lots of good to buy as well as packaged food goods they make there. We ordered a few sandwiches and an iced coffee to go and it was pretty fast, they even asked if we wanted it fresh now which was appreciated. Overall this place is great, I've yet to see better prices in Seattle. Only bummer to me is they prefer cash and have an extra charge for credit cards and I prefer not to use cash. Banh mi: 8/10. Great for the price, my dad remarked the bread was very good on his first bite. Viet iced coffee - 7/10. Good just very strong (should be what u expect I'm just a wimp with coffee), very classic and well made viet iced coffee

He didn't have to do that and it was such a kind and generous offer. What a genuine and caring establishment. Also that matzo ball soup was better than my Jewish grandmother's! Bonus: this spot is kosher! Potato Latkes (5/5): These latkes are thick boys and fried up so they're piping hot when they hit the table. Because of their size, you really get the contrast of the hard crunch on the outside with super fluffy potato inside. So good we immediately turned around and ordered more. Chocolate Babka (2/5): This was truly the only miss I've had here. Unfortunately, the babka just really dries out after it's been sliced, which is a shame because it's just gorgeous with generous swirls of chocolate inside. Reuben (5/5): I really thought their pastrami couldn't be beat, but the brisket is dare I say better? Just as tender and feels a bit less fatty, so it's a little more crushable. Tip: go for the seeded rye over the marbled rye; something about the marbled rye just falls apart a bit more with the juices of the meat, though it's still delicious! Black & White Cookies (4/5): I expected this to be cloyingly sweet, but this was actually scrumptious with some fresh lemon flavor in the cookie itself. Absolutely massive as well.

Then you chose to increase prices and decrease the quantity, which didn't make sense. Less for more? What a waste of a great idea - greed is why your business model didn't work. Your business was so hot when it opened and it actually went downhill about 6 years ago and I am not sad to see you go. Josh - to respond to your comment. My note should have inspired some reflection with the business model but it didn't. Your level of greed was insane and that is not forgiven here. You started hot and decided to squeeze more than your share from this business and this is what happens. You messed around and found out. It's sad because I actually supported the business when it opened but quickly had to end my dealings due to the high level of greed. You did this to your own business by wanting more, more and more, so please don't play the victim here. I'm sorry that you're saddened by this but what you did to the community is far worse than what I said. Actually ripping people off with your product is not having humanity. I'm not the inhumane one here and let's get that straight. I didn't rip people off - you did! You got what you deserved and that's that. You likely have time to turn things around but I doubt you can reduce your greed in time. If you do, I'll gladly come back and support yall. Again - food was great and greed was not.

I'd heard they were good, but holy smokes, I didn't realize they would be *that* good. Here are my recommendations: - Get the Tatstrami. Its combination of flavors is so freaking good. - Order online and then sweep in and pick it up. Since the place does most of its business during lunchtime, there's always a line and this is a way to skip that. If you want to venture beyond a pastrami sandwich, I highly recommend the chicken cheesesteak. While I normally opt for beef when it comes to cheesesteaks, Tat's actually isn't amazing but their chicken one is. So get that instead. In short, this is tied with Dingfelders for the best sandwich in Seattle. Pay it a visit and bring your appetite.
