Fast Eddie
Tai N.

I've been wanting to go here for a while, but I was living far away for the past 6 years. I heard it closed down due to poor management and reopened. Finally moved back and got to try it. I've had my eyes on the Fast Eddie ever since I heard about this place because it was one of the most recommended sandwiches. The ambiance was alright. Pretty dark imo but maybe because it was just after Christmas and they had their holiday decor up. Also the bar area was closed. I was a bit confused on where to order until I realized there were kiosks by the front counter. It would've been nice if one of the workers actually had said something to me. Anyway, onto the food. I got the Fast Eddie with fries and it was alright. The meat was bit dry. Yes there was the au jus to dip in and it helped quite a bit, but all the flavors just didn't mesh. It was basically an ordinary french dip. The fries were okay, but the jalapeno aioli was great! That made everything better, but not enough to save the sandwich. Not sure if I would come back, but I would definitely try a different sandwich. One that caters more to my taste buds

This is the best vegetarian sandwich I've ever had! I love that they offer vegan deli meat slices. Sandwiches were toasted and sauces were really good. Bread was super fresh and crispy and perfectly toasted service was super fast and friendly. Cool vibe inside.

Bbq fries

Bbq fries were unique and meat had a nice smoky taste. Fries were too soggy either. Ordered the waverider sandwich, bread was soft and fresh, could've had more pesto / sauce in my opinion. food came out fast as we ordered to go, and lots of seating inside

Mozzarella Sticks

Ordered from Uber Eats - grilled cheese w/ tomato soup, gobbler, mozz sticks, and choc chip cookie. Delivery came really fast, so I think everything was pretty fresh. Mozz sticks were crispy on the outside but not cooked inside. Gobbler was ok, but kind of bland compared to Wawa (IYKYK) and I can't believe I'm saying this, but even compared to Subway's version. There was a several-inch long hair literally baked into the cookie that was sticking right out of it as soon as I pulled it out of the sleeve. Grilled cheese had a good amount of cheese and was melted well, and tomato soup was awesome. I'm not inclined to order again, though.

El Guapo
Joey R.

The sandwiches were delicious! I love any sandwich on a baguette! Bug fan of the smoked gouda on El Guapo. The one thing I didn't care for was the vegan chili because of the excessive amount of vegan meat. I'd much rather have preferred just vegetables and beans.

Exploring Seattle as my friend has just moved to the area and stumbled upon HoneyHole Sandwiches so we decided to stop by for a late lunch. There were plenty of tables in the restaurant, with a few outside as well as bar seating. Ordering can be done by QR code at the table or at touch screens inside. The staff were really friendly and quick to deliver our food and drinks! The sandwiches are huge and definitely can be shared between two people. The menu is vast distinguishing from hot and cold sandwiches, with vegetarian options available as well. We shared the Waverider, which was absolutely delicious. You can customize it with different sauces or adding extra (protein, sauces, etc); we just had it the way it was made. The meats and veggies that came with this sandwich were really well balanced, and the bread had a good crunch to it while being fairly soft on the inside. For $6, we also added fries which were crispy and well seasoned.

BYO Sandwich
Thaila N.

Delicious toasted sandwiches! The portion is fairly large, and I was able to eat one half for lunch and save the other half for later. I made a BYO toasted sandwich with grilled chicken as my protein. The baguette was fresh and soft. The grilled chicken was super juicy and had a charred flavor to it. The garlic aioli and pesto sauces added delicious flavors without being too overpowering or salty. Definitely recommend getting Mama Lil's Hot Peppers as a topping!!! My boyfriend LOVED the Fast Eddie with a side of au jus. The service was quick and the employees were friendly. You can place your order online to be ready when you arrive. I definitely will be back to try a cold sandwich!

NEVER Disappoints. Seattle staple and institution! I have to say it's a tie for my fav sandwich places in Seattle. You can guess what the others is (Tats). I've lived in Seattle since 2006 and have been a customer ever since. Thank you!

The Bandit
Mike H.

After reading so many five star reviews of the Honey Hole we were looking forward to eating here unfortunately we were nowhere near being impressed. Can't talk about service as we ordered take out, so let's get into the food. We ordered The Bandit which according to the menu, it is composed of tender smoked beef brisket, classic barbecue sauce, coleslaw, and melted cheddar. The picture of our sandwich was purposely flipped around as the other side was burnt black, almost zero coleslaw could be found, but there was a slight taste of it and the same with the cheese. Pulled pork, is my go to choice at any sandwich joint or restaurant that has it on their menu this Bandit by far was nowhere near being a good tasting sandwich. The simple french fries was the star of our order and that is a sad thing to say. We would not revisit, especially with so many food eateries in the area, albeit as this restaurant is across the street from our Airbnb. We would not recommend this restaurant.

Great sandwiches! The "BLT To Satisfy" and the "Liotta" did not disappoint! Highly recommended!

The place is busy but they have a good amount of seatings so it wasn't bad. You place an order up front, get some free samples of bread, and wait until they call your number. We tried the SRW special deal and got the Bambino, fortuna, and the soup. To be honest, the best thing was the soup. It was creamy, smooth, slightly sweet, light but hearty at the same time. I love the ricotta on the side to balance it. Both sandwiches was good, simple but good and they were big. I think I like the sample bread more because it has a nice crunch to them. The bread on the sandwich is softer so it was kinda monotonous. The place is a busy, and a bit loud and bustling, but i still feel calm and relaxed.

The sandwiches are pretty big - I could only eat half. The only complaint I had was that this particular sandwich was pretty salty, and even my BF who usually likes things salty said it was a bit too salty for him. It could have been a combination of the ingredients that contributed to the saltiness. We do like this place and will come back again to try more sandwiches. Service was excellent and they added outside tables which is nice to sit at when the weather is nice. Parking is always a challenge but we are lucky to be within walking distance.

When you order your meal, everything was entered onto a computer screen and paid before your get your food. The Italian Hot Beef didn't come with cheese so I had to add it as an upcharge where it then became more expensive than the Philly cheesesteak. That didn't make sense but it was a good portion size and the flavors were perfect. They have Pepsi products for beverages and although the only condiment they have is Ketchup the other food stall may have a better selection if you need.

I usually engage with someone at a restaurant snd ask for their advice or input when deciding what to order. Salumi is countertop screen or online order only. Staff are focused on making your sandwich and are available to answer questions, but the place gets very crowded and this won't always be possible. I love eggplant parmigiana and was delighted that the sandwich came with a (warm!) cup of marinara. The marinara was a generous portion, a tad spicy, and I soaked up every drop. The sandwich roll was good, average. The toppings were tasty, and sufficient. The eggplant itself was a bit disappointing. The breading was perfectly crispy and light, but the eggplant was sliced so thinly that it was almost an eggplant flavored chip instead of the customary meaty texture. The balance was just off, unfortunately.. Recommend ordering online because this place gets crowded during the lunch rush.

They'll make a smaller Seattle sized version as well for those who don't treat deli as an indulgence of rye and meat piled high. I wish they'd add kreplach to the menu (sorry Vance. I know my litany is old!) but I keep discovering new deliciousness here even after being a regular for nearly 4 years since my recovery from a life threatening illness, that I recovered from in part due to making regular stops here during my post surgical recovery. Just today I had the blintzes for the first time with their in house made cherry compote and sour cream. Amazing. Keep up the amazing work!!! My recommendation for newbies. Get the pastrami on marbled rye with gribenes and mustard. If you're feeling extra indulgent ask for a schmear of chopped liver, if you're keen on said. You won't regret it!
