The wait for dinner was almost an hour and a half, but it was definitely worth it! The restaurant was packed, with guests filling the street-side balcony, indoor dining area, and patio. The lively atmosphere, constant movement, and energetic noise created a vibrant and exciting dining experience. The three of us ordered the Nonna Maria Pizza, Cacio E Pepe Pizza, and Crispy Calamari as appetizers, followed by Bobber's "All Day" Bolognese Pasta. We also enjoyed Summer Sangria and Maritime Night Watch Dark Amber Ale. Everything was delicious, and we enjoyed every bite. Our server, Daria M., was especially wonderful. She was friendly, courteous, attentive, and proactive throughout our meal. Her warm smile and positive attitude added an extra touch to the enjoyable atmosphere at our table.
We decided to try Vons for a Saturday lunch after hearing several positive comments from people in my office. Let me start with the positives: the food was genuinely excellent, our server was friendly and attentive, and the drinks selection was great. The overall value was also very good. Based on the quality of the food and service, this easily could have become our go-to weekend lunch spot.So why only 2 stars?The experience was undermined almost immediately upon arrival. After we asked for a table for three, the host, Collin, escorted us to our table and lashed out that we had a two-hour limit to finish our lunch. While that might be understandable during a busy dinner rush, this was lunch service and the restaurant wasn't even close to full. The warning felt unnecessary, unwelcoming, and frankly confusing.Instead of relaxing and enjoying our meal, we found ourselves constantly aware of the clock. A good restaurant experience is about more than great food! it's about hospitality and atmosphere. Being told about a time limit before we had even sat down completely changed the tone of the visit. What should have been a leisurely weekend lunch became a rushed meal.Ironically, we finished in just 50 minutes, nowhere near the stated limit. We decided to pass on another round of drinks and dessert to be " in the time limit". Still, the damage was done. The food was memorable for all the right reasons, but the first impression created by the host overshadowed the entire experience and robbed us of the enjoyment and ambiance we were hoping for.It's disappointing because the restaurant has so much going for it. Unfortunately, that interaction alone is enough to make us think twice before returning.
Parking was incredibly difficult. Asked the host where the closest parking garage was and the one they sent us to one that was $15 an hour. We were there over an hour. If it wasn't for our amazing server who got us validation, we would have paid $30. Ridiculous! I would look into parking ahead of time. It was not easy or cheap. Our server was excellent. She was knowledgeable, helpful and sweet. 10/10 Manhattan. You can't beat $8.99 for the price and the flavors were perfect 8/10 calamari. I really liked the peppers and the spicy aioli 10/10 salmon pasta. Pasta is sourdough and has digestion benefits but didn't taste sour like some sourdough pasta I've tried. Lots of salmon. Salmon was very mild and tender chunks. 10/10 fish and chips portion was massive. Fish was fresh and flaky. Fries were hand cut. 100/10 seafood stew. The broth was amazing. The seafood was fresh. It was the best dish of the night. Definitely had the most flavor. 10/10 rocky road pie- which was basically a s'more's dessert. They smoke it table side and it was a perfect ending to a great meal. Prices are midrange to affordable, especially for portion size and quality. Vons is popular for good reasons. Would recommend!

I came during happy hour for a quick bite. I was a bit disappointed that fries weren't included. The burger itself was delicious. For a Monday at 5pm it was very busy. I sat at the bar, and wasn't helped for a while and the bartender took someone's order who sat after me. Only until I said something was my order taken. They also didn't give me any ketchup or even ask if I needed anything. No one asked me how I was doing during my meal. Understandably it was busy, but i wasn't expecting much, just the minimum requirements for service.
This is it. I found it! The best spicy smashburger in Seattle. Finally. I've been looking for anything that remotely comes close to Jojos spicy smashburger in PDX. And to be honest, most places lacked. But Von's? Amazing! The burger actually a decent kick. Excellent flavor. Definitely a new favorite and my new go-to burger. Service was excellent. And forget Happy Hour. If you're a WA resident, you get 25% off between 11 AM and 2 PM. That's a steal. I also tried their campfire dessert thing. It was delicious! Very rich. Easily got two meals out these. It was fast too.
Good drinks, good food, good service, and it seems like it would be consistent although I haven't been enough to be sure. The servers actually talk to customers and discuss drinks and food. It's fairly loud, but I'm sure that varies throughout the large restaurant. The barrel old fashioned was good if a bit sweet. They were willing to do meat substitutions in pasta. The rigatoni with spicy pink sauce was very tasty and generous with the meat. The pasta was nicely al dente, not at all mushy, with a generous dollop of lemon ricotta on top. The meatballs and bolognese are made with beef and pork.
The perfect burger!! The atmosphere makes you want to be there. The service was excellent even though they were completely packed with a line! I cannot wait to come back! The Spirit selection is from the heavens!!!
Came here through a recommendation of a friend and glad we did! We heard this spot fills out so coming into the city late, we came for a late night dinner and were able to be seated within 10-15 minutes (and it was still packed in there). Von's is conveniently located in downtown seattle, which was walkable from our hotel. They have an extensive cocktail and liquor menu so we took advantage of the bourbon sampler and I got their bloody mary. From Wisconsin, I'm a tough critic with my bloody's and this one had the like brininess but not the saviorness. Would try another drink next time. For food, we got the damn good wings, the pasta, and the cioppino. Star of the show was hands down the pasta. Creamy, large portion size and tasted very good. The wings has a sweeter sauce than I was expecting but the wing size is good.

I didn't have a reservation and had to wait an hour but believe me when I tell you it was well worth the wait. My cousin and I got the damn good wings and the burrata baguette. I like that we had the options for bone in and bone out. I got the bone in and they were delicious. They have a kick but definitely not overly hot for those that don't love spice. The burrata baguette was incredible. The pesto was a perfect balance of basil and parm and not too plant-y in taste which pesto can have. The spicy rigs (I added spicy fennel sausage) was amazing. It had a nice tartness from the sourdough which complemented the fennel and sauce so well. I would highlight this entree to anyone visiting. Service was great and the place exuded such great vibes. While it was so busy, we never felt rushed to leave. I was truly impressed and this was the highlight of my week in Seattle. A true must visit and may have to come back, specially just to come back.
Von's 1000 Spirits was kind of a mixed bag. I liked the food and beverage selection. Burgers, sandwiches, sourdough pizzas, pasta and more. I don't think there's a wrong answer. We asked our server for more time because we had trouble making up our minds. I also liked the extensive beer list and fully stocked bar. The best drink is your favorite drink and I don't think you will have a problem here. Mocktails are also available if you want to keep it clean. Our server was fantastic. She was patient when we couldn't make up our minds and happy to answer any questions while we were deciding what to order. I didn't like how small the dining areas were. It was a warm evening and the building either didn't have air conditioning or wasn't able to turn it on. We tried to make do, however the tables were really close together and the fan in the corner only caught some of the room. We also had a group near us who was having a good time. Normally I'm all for it, however they were very close to us and the sound bounced off the brick walls making it tough to have a conversation. Last, but not least, we had to use the restroom, but unfortunately we couldn't find our server to get the code. I understand why the restaurant has a code on its bathroom doors. At the same time, when you gotta go - you gotta go.
If you're wandering around the waterfront in Seattle and you become dehydrated, force yourself to climb the stairs to Von's and partake of their many cocktail offerings. Every one of them will quench your thirst in the best way. We sat outside to people watch as we enjoyed our libations because it was a perfect day - there were plenty of indoor options as well.
Food was amazing. great happy hour drink specials and great prices on food. Service fell short, they switched our servers halfway through our meal and our new server was great. The back patio was so great and spacious but inside is very crowded and loud, with bar seating everywhere.

Von's was very popular but we managed to get off their waitlist for a late weekday dinner. I loved the flavor of the Mediterranean vegan pasta. It contains eggplant and was smokey, spicy, and more interesting than your typical red sauce. I couldn't really taste the sourdough flavor in the pasta noodles though. Their dirty martini was good and very affordable. They make their own spirits and also have sourdough pizzas. Our server was friendly and gave helpful recommendations. read more

A really fun spot to grab a bite! The interior is very much giving pub, but with a slightly elevated flair. The atmosphere was super lively and the staff was amazing! I had come here with a mission: to try their famed sourdough pasta! The waiter recommended their Tuscan Chicken which we got along with the Spicy "Rigs." Everything was phenomenal! This is my 4th time dining at this location and I absolutely adore the spot. Despite it being a popular and a touristy gem, the food and service I've experienced has always been great. The pastas and drinks is where they really stand out. They no longer use a reservation system and it's first come first serve. The bar if you're over 21 is the best place to get seated quickly. Typical wait time is 1hr and less than 25min off peak meal times. Pizza was just ok but the burger was solid. Will come back - great location and great food. read more

Delicious food and cocktails. The chicken pasta was amazing. I was able to get a table quickly through adding myself to the waitlist but then decided to sit at the bar. Service was great. Large selection of cocktails. The espresso martini was just ok. Good date night spot or even solo when traveling for work. read more
This is a popular spot but I can definitely see why once we tried their food and drinks. Expect to wait a little (we waited an hour) but there's plenty to do and see in the area as you wait. Drinks: I ordered the espresso martini and it was delicious! Food: We shared the macho salad, lil pep pizza, and Tellicherry Chicken And Smoked Gouda pasta. Honestly all were delicious we couldn't pick a favorite. It's a super cool spot with plenty of indoor seating and some outside too. The vibe is really cool indoors I love the bar display and moody lighting. It's also cool to see the giant tubs of pasta as that's their specialty and clearly it's extremely fresh. read more
I'd heard about Von's from a couple of folks and decided to try this one in downtown Seattle, and it did surprise me. Great ambience, seating, prompt service and right next to Pike market. Tried their pasta and it was absolutely delicious. So flavorful and decent quantity too. Highly recommend this place, if you're interested in trying their pasta, that they make in-house! read more
Will be back to try their happy hour! I came here on a Wednesday night (party of 2) and was seated within 5 minutes. We ordered the Pork Confit Fries and Wood Oven Roasted Wild Mushroom flatbread! The flatbread was much larger than I expected! I enjoyed both dishes! The fries were crispy and the pork was tender. The flatbread was so fresh and cheesy. We don't eat a lot so we had leftovers and the flatbread was still delicious the next day! I will be back to try their happy hour (I believe it's 2-6pm everyday) or their local special from 11-2pm (weekdays)! read more

Had a fantastic dinner here on a Tuesday night! It was really busy so I'd certainly recommend joining their waitlist even on a weekday. The service was fantastic, we were checked on all the time and our server was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the lemon shrimp pasta, and my friend the mac and four cheeses with chicken. He also got a rum and coke, and I had a delicious mocktail: their watermelon NoMosa. I'd recommend everything we tried! It was delicious and I thought the portions were perfect. I loved the mix of the cheese and capers in my dish. The shrimp was done perfectly and was so flavorful. It is lively in there but I'd say it's one step up from a traditional "sports bar". This place is so good! They are located near the waterfront and is a great spot for lunch and dinner. We came around lunch time for their weekday deal, which is 25% off with your WA driver's license. They were already really busy but we were able to get seated in their heated patio outside with no wait. We got the cherry bomb pizza and tuscan chicken pasta to share between the two of us, which was just the right amount of food with a bit of leftovers. The pasta was al dente and the sauce was so flavorful! I loved the sundried tomatoes and generous pieces of chicken. The pizza was also extremely delicious - the sausage pieces were so savory and juicy and the crust was nicely crisp. I am a sourdough lover so knowing that was their specialty here was even more enticing. Definitely recommend this spot for locals and tourists! read more

Came here for an early dinner and had Katya as our server. She was sooo personable and sweet and truly made our evening delightful! Every drink she brought out was beautifully garnished and so much fun. The place was packed, as it should be. The staff knows how to hustle to turn those tables. The food here is incredible! The pasta is perfectly cooked and the flavors are rich. The prices are very fair--- especially for the generous portions. They offer a little something for everyone (vegetarian and vegan friendly). They also have a nice local discount for those with a washington drivers license. It's only during week days I believe. The staff is also very prompt and super kind! The restaurant itself is pretty cozy and has the perfect vibe for pizza and beer. Low lighting, wood, Neon lights. Will definitely be back sometime! After attending a Mariner's game, we needed to grab some food. It took me awhile to load up the ramp and my husband's motorized scooter and by the time I did that, it was late. Thankfully Von's could help us out! We ordered a couple things (pizza and a chicken cutlet sandwich). While I waited for the pick-up order, I enjoyed a very nice Lemon Drop martini. Everyone there was kind, even though we placed our order so late. When we're back in Seattle, we will definitely gone then another try and I will get pictures of their tasty food. read more
A packed place! Can be tough to get a seat. It's a bustling and vibrant place. They have a deep library of spirits and cocktails to make it worth the wait. The staff seemed pretty overwhelmed with large crowds, so we did incur some medium wait times, but nothing worth complaining about. I thought my dish (Nashville Chicken Sando) was excellent. However, my fiancée believes her Fish and Chips left something to be desired. My only complaint is this place takes it upon themselves to add "junk fees" in addition to up charges on sides that weren't explained to us. I'm not saying they're overly expensive over market, but these things felt disingenuous and less-than-transparent until after the check was paid on their mobile POS device. read more

We're visiting Seattle from L.A. to celebrate my birthday and we were looking for a really good dinner within walking distance of our hotel. After a brief search, Von's 1000 Spirits came up. As I am a pasta and pizza whore, we decided to walk down there. And am I glad we did! Walking in, the atmosphere is super-busy and bustling, with the kitchen right in front of you to the left, and a long, rather narrow bar and tables on the right. There literally IS a wall of 1000 spirits to the right and it's quite impressive. Despite not having a reservation, we were greeted and seated in less than 5 minutes, and were lucky enough to snag a corner table on the right, which afforded us a view of The Harbor Steps. Our waitress promptly arrived and took our orders and she was very pleasant and helpful. We decided on the Burrata Baguette, the Lemon Garlic Prawn pasta and the Chicken Pasta. All the sourdough pasta is made in-house from a 75-year-old starter recipe, and the portions are very generous. Boyfriend really enjoyed his pasta, the sauce was velvety and delicious, and my prawns was large and juicy, and the sauce was nice and light, accented by briny capers and sweet grape tomatoes. The baguette was hot, crispy and absolutely delicious as a conduit for the creamy buratta cheese and drizzled pesto. We had more than enough to take back to our hotel for a second meal. Yes! It's a good size restaurant and I saw kids there when we were there.
Do they have a bar that they serve dinner at?
Yes. The place is quite crowded at peak hours so the bar may be your best option if you have no reservation. It is first come, first served for seats at the bar.

probably not sitting at the bar but it is a restaurant so the tables would be fine for minors

No they do not, they don't have a retail license for that
Does this restaurant have wheelchair accessibility?
There are 2 wheelchair accessable doors to the left of the front door. 1 side door enters to the rightside of the front desk, and the 2nd door on the side which enters into the larger back dinning room which has more room for wheelchair seating. .
