This venue really is awesome. I used to come here quite often pre-pandemic and today was the first time since then. And I have to say, it has only changed for the better. Now, they serve food! Before they had a 3rd party taco restaurant serving limited menu items. If I recall correctly, they were called....Manu Tacos. They served good food but now Flatstick serves all kinds of bar foods. Pizza, french fries, wings, salad, etc. Their taplist has always been great. All local brews and ciders. Today I had white stout from Postdoc, called Antichromatic. A beer that I probably have never gotten around to trying if I didn't visit here. We were here for a work event and I would say everyone had a good time today.

Always a great selection of beers and ciders. Also have great premade craft cocktails now. Staff is friendly and welcoming.

Yes! I loved this place!!!!! It was so much fun playing mini gulf and drinking some beer. They also offer food here but we didn't try it since we ate elsewhere. This is a great spot for groups, date night or boredom. Everything here was fun!!! I highly recommend it.

We only came for food, but it was very average. The wait time was fairly long as well.

Came here for a friend's bday party. We enjoyed the mini golf, pizza, and beer. Vegetarian pizza was possible! Staffs were chill and friendly. Environment was spacious and clean. Perfect for hosting a party or hanging out with friends! Parking was street parking, past 6pm is free.

My milestone 600th review goes out to Flatstick Pub in Seattle's Pioneer Square! Now this, THIS was a great place to spend our Monday afternoon to kill time before a baseball game later in the day. My dad found this place while randomly searching for lunch around the downtown area, and he suggested this spot. Note that this place is strictly 21+ only. When you enter Flatstick, you are directed to a staircase that leads downstairs, which is technically a basement area. The bartender did have to ID me because he said I looked younger than my actual age (which I'm used to people telling me at this point). After reviewing the lengthy beer menu that they had, the bartender gave me a sample of the Channel Marker (#24) and the Washington Gold (#25). The Channel Marker, which is an off-dry raspberry cider, was so good that I decided to buy it! My dad got a sampler of the Paradise Creek Huckleberry Pucker (#7), which he got because he liked this one. Their menu also shows you how much beer that they have left before it's all gone (green means full, yellow means half, and red means almost gone). After getting our beer, we headed down to play mini golf. I'm not the greatest player in mini golf, but I ended up playing fairly well and beating my dad in it by two points. Having a beer while playing mini golf made the whole experience way more fun. We then headed back up to have their food before moving on to play duffleboard. My dad and I both ordered their chicken tacos, which were tender, fresh, and full of flavor. Their actual kitchen wasn't open yet so they were only serving small appetizer dishes. Playing duffleboard was also fun! One was shaped like Lumen Field (home of the Seattle Seahawks) and another one was shaped like T-Mobile Park (home of the Seattle Mariners). The last duffleboard that you play is kind of like playing skeeball, except you use a stick and not your hand. We had an excellent time here and I really want to come back on my next trip to Seattle!

Ask the Community - Flatstick Pub - Pioneer Square

    Does the it allow kids?

Yes! We are family friendly until 7pm. After that, the whole pub becomes 21+ only.

Will you be showing the Super Bowl game 2019? thanks!

    Yes!

Is the venue normally closed for private parties? It was going to be our first time here tonight and we are frustrated.

Not normally, and I'm sure they don't want to turn away your business too, but around this time of year, they probably got bought out for the evening for a holiday party. There's still the SLU location one which is nicer and Kirkland location but… Read more

Can duffleboard or minigolf be played sober, say if the DD wanted to play too?

Yes! Still so much fun! I went at 7 months prego! There's ginger beer there too (non alcoholic) if the DD wants to look like they are part of the party!

Can you bring in your own food?

You are not allowed to bring in your own food unless you have reserved one of our party rooms. We have Manu’s Tacos on site serving food in the pub.

I know you can bring dogs, but are kids allowed too?

Not at the Seattle location. Only Kirkland and until 7pm

Do you do pitchers of beer?

No we do not sell beer in pitchers.

What's the typical Saturday night wait for golf if you don't have a reserved tee time?

Depends on your party size, but typically 1-2 hours.

Do you have to have reservations to play mini golf?

No, but depending on some nights, it might be a longer wait depending on how busy it is.

Are pets allowed... word on the street is yes?

    Yep!

    Are kids allowed?

You need to be 21 to enter.

Do they have air-conditioning? Thinking of going there this week, by its supposed to be 95 degrees outside and I don't want to be someplace that is too hot inside

    Yes we have air conditioning!

    What's your favorite beer here?

I believe it was the Fremont Wandering Wheat has tones of lemon.

What food is served before 3pm?

I don't think any food at all is served before 3pm. The tacos that serve at 3pm have a store front out on the street right next to the entrance to Flatstick and you can order there then bring them into flatstick. At 3 they close their storefront so… Read more

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!
