I especially loved how all the cocktails had tech-themed names, it added a fun touch. We ordered one of their signature drinks and absolutely loved it (my favorite was "clickbait"). We also split the butter chicken flatbread, which was pretty good. Honestly, if we had more time, we definitely would've tried more from the food menu. Okay the positives... the views were amazing, the vibes are outstanding. They have a live DJ who was cookin it was great! We ordered the whipped feta dip, the artichoke dip, the pepperoni flatbread and the prosciutto apple flatbread all of those were freaking delicious amazing. Extremely disappointed in this place. It was packed on a Saturday night. The indoor seating was reservation only but without a reservation you could hang out outside. Everyone had to order at the bar and the bar only had three bartenders and hence the lines were really long. I think this place has great potential but they need to manage it well. More than 50% of the reserved tables were empty at 11 pm on a Saturday. They should also include some table side service if they want to create an intimate atmosphere. Overall, the place was super loud, not cz of the music but because of the people screaming. The cocktails were average. We tried a mangattan and a cosmopolitan. Elizabeth was AMAZING! We tried coming on a Friday night and it was so busy you couldn't even get out of the elevator so we got 1 drink after about 35min of waiting & went back down to our room. DO NOT GO HERE MY FRIEND GOT ROOFIED I never write reviews but this was the worst experience we have ever had in Seattle, especially at a place that presents itself as upscale. Service was slow and rude, and multiple drinks came out chunky and had to be remade. The $300 reservation fee that was needed for a party of our size was insane, and one of the only nice servers said, "I can't believe you fell for that it is such a scam. Most concerning, I believe one of my friend was drugged here after only two drinks and became completely unresponsive, paralyzed and with almost no pulse. This was the only place we went all night, which was extremely frightening. I also saw a man recording one of the girls in my group while she was taking the shot she later got sick from. Absolutely terrible experience at Altitude Sky Lounge. By the end of the night, my girlfriend ended up in the hospital because she was drugged while we were there. This was the ONLY bar we went to all night. Thankfully she was with a safe group of people, but the entire situation was terrifying. A place that charges the kind of money this bar does should at the very least provide a safe environment for its customers. On top of that, we booked a reservation for 10 people and were charged nearly $300 just for the reservation, only to receive some of the worst service I've ever experienced. We sat there for over 30 minutes with basically no attention from staff while the place wasn't even busy -- it was a Thursday night. Drinks took forever, and we had to physically get up twice just to get someone to acknowledge our table. What made it even more ridiculous was that one of the employees was casually making small talk with us, and when I mentioned how insane the reservation fee was for the level of service we were getting, she literally responded with: "Oh, you fell for the reservation thing." That alone tells you everything you need to know about how this place operates. If your own employees joke about customers getting ripped off, there's clearly a serious problem. After complaining, the service improved slightly, but by then the night was already ruined. Between the horrible service, overpriced reservation, employees openly admitting the reservation setup is a scam, and serious safety concerns, I would never recommend this place to anyone. ALTITUDE Sky Lounge is located on the 16th floor of Astra Hotel. It has a great view of the Space Needle. You can also see a glimpse of Lake Union. Once you arrive at the hotel, it is very clear how to navigate your way up to the rooftop bar. However, it was a bit challenging operating the elevator as it seemed we needed to scan a hotel key card to access the different floors. My friend was celebrating her birthday and made the reservation for the party. It was a beautiful, sunny Saturday evening. Unfortunately, I forgot to bring my sunglasses, but the bar has sunglasses for customers to borrow during their time here if needed! My sister ordered the Ultraviolet Dreams (purple potato-infused tequila, coconut-ube black sea salt cream, Cointreau, lime) $21 and I ordered the Tech Bubbles (reposado tequila, mango-gochujang shrub, lime, Topo Chico) $20. These were both cocktails off their usual menu. The drinks were pleasant, but definitely on the pricey side. There are also small bites on their non-drink menu. We had a cake for the birthday girl, luckily the bar was able to provide plates and utensils, but for a cost. I don't remember if our waitress said it was $3 or $5 per. Regardless, it was more than I anticipated. All in all, it was a good experience. We were well taken care of with the staff here. They made sure to check back with us frequently. read more

The cups did not look very clean so we didn't drink the waters. We got two drinks. An Apple ID and Great Firewall. The Apple ID was good and the Great Firewall was ok. It had jalapeños in it which took us off guard because the description did not say it would have jalapeños in it despite the name saying it's a firewall. This is the description for it "Mezcal, Persimmon Shrub, Lime, Cointreau, Agave, Tiki Bitters". Both drinks were small and bill ended up being $47. We were staying at Hotel Astra and this lovely dramatic sky bar is located rooftop of Astra. You must reserve on their website to visit the sky bar. I'm glad they limit capacity for a better experience. No shows are charged so cancel if you change your mind. You go up in the elevator and when you pop out you will be asked for your name on reservation. It's a 2 hour booking but if it's a slow weeknight you can usually stay longer. There's patio heaters and cool gas fire pits on the coffee tables as well. There is an appetizer menu. We had the charcuterie board. It was tasty. I had wine and Dan had a 7 & 7. Drinks and service are good. They have a small pizza oven up there and make small pizzas that looked good. We were having dinner downstairs so we didn't eat more. Our friend was very clearly drugged after an EARLY WEEK night of having the same drinks as the rest of us. Shortly after getting her final drink at the bar, she lost consciousness and could barely move. Earlier in the evening, another friend caught a man filming us from under the table, and he immediately walked away once he realized he'd been noticed. The entire situation was terrifying and made this place feel extremely unsafe. HORRIBLE SERVICE, RUDE AND POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS BARTENDERS It was my friend's birthday and our group wanted to celebrate at a rooftop bar for the occasion, upon arrival service was slow, sloppy, and unprofessional. Not only did we see our server taking shots behind the bar, but our drinks came out extremely inconsistent, we all ordered a round of the same drink but some of use got weird chunks mixed in our cocktail glasses. Furthermore, towards the end of our experience, the bday girl and a friend went and ordered a shot at the bar. During this time, it was noted that a man sitting at the high top table behind the bar was recording the girl ordering her drink. We suspect the bartender was the one with the roofie and the man recording were working together, because about 30 minutes after this experience our friend become unconscious, unresponsive, and had a weak pulse. Furthermore after going in and out of consciousness she was unable to move her arms or legs. Altitude lounge has been completely unhelpful in every way and I don't wish this experience on anyone in the future. We had a wonderful time. The Rooftop bar is spacious, has so much natural light, and great drinks. Lake was our server and he was great! Let us take our time with the menu and talked about best drinks with us. The best thing we had was the Pesto Flatbread, honestly delicious and the dough was wonderful. My friends and I were running a little late for our reservation and a charge had already been placed on our booking, but the host was very understanding and removed it once we arrived (we were only a couple minutes past the grace period). Do note that there's a $25 reservation fee per person. The lounge itself has a great view and, while not very large, feels intimate with lively vibes on a Saturday evening. We had some friends from out of state stopping by as they waited for their Alaskan cruise the next day. Decided it would be a great night in Seattle for a rooftop bar scene, it was so beautiful. A perfect night out there, the space needle twinkling in the back and just the view of the city on a beautiful summer evening. As soon as you come off the elevator on the 16th floor, you've got the hostesses to your right where you check in. We were kinda late but since it wasn't full, they were lenient. Thank goodness!! The servers were great, I did have to wait a long while for a ginger ale. All good though, she told us the soda machine was down so they had to wait. Food was a limited menu. The drink menu features some unique but very crushable cocktails and the bartenders were diligently working to make things as quickly as they could. So I'm not sure how the seating works here. When I went around July 2023 they didn't have a lot of staff so I had to order at the bar, not sure if that has changed.
