Okay the positives... the views were amazing, the vibes are outstanding. They have a live DJ who was cookin it was great! We ordered the whipped feta dip, the artichoke dip, the pepperoni flatbread and the prosciutto apple flatbread all of those were freaking delicious amazing. This place has so much potential if they improved their service. The service was so bad it took 45 min to get our first round of drinks. Our server was really nice but maybe stretched too thin bc she forgot to put our order in and threw away her paper that she wrote it on so she had to come re take our order. We had full intentions of ordering entrees from here but they were out of the main dishes. Just seems like the kitchen manager isn't planning well, staff doesn't have help from management. The only thing keeping this restaurant afloat is the view and the DJ

Great drinks, amazing service, and a beautiful view! Just a heads-up: the drinks are on the pricier side, but they're super creative and unique. I especially loved how all the cocktails had tech-themed names, it added a fun touch. We ordered one of their signature drinks and absolutely loved it (my favorite was "clickbait"). We also split the butter chicken flatbread, which was pretty good. Honestly, if we had more time, we definitely would've tried more from the food menu. Also, a special shoutout to the bartenders--they were awesome! Very nice, good service, and made fire drinks. The seating options are great too. You can sit outside by the fire pits with plenty of space, or inside at high-tops or cozy booth-style tables. The whole place feels pretty classy. Plus, you get a view of the Space Needle and some of SLU's skyline. oh, and the hotel even had a cleaning robot, which I thought was cool.

Located near the south lake this rooftop place has a very pretty view of the water, the space needle and the downtown. Perfect for a summer evening to watch the sunset while enjoying their amazing drinks. They also offer drinks which arent on the menu which were pretty good. Our servers were very nice and attentive and also helped us choose drinks . The food was decent too. There was a dj playing good music, the vibes were great

Beautiful view during sunset. Flatbread were super tasty. Drinks were strong. Service was a little slow but fine.

Decide what you want and go for it. I wanted a sunset evening with a cold cider in hand. I got exactly what I wanted. Reserve a spot on the website for 8:00 pm in May and enjoy the sunset with whomever sparks your soul. Great views in Seattle.

Amazing view, good cocktails, great service (thanks Maloree!) If you are looking for a fun rooftop while in Seattle this is the place.

Extremely disappointed in this place. It was packed on a Saturday night. The indoor seating was reservation only but without a reservation you could hang out outside. Everyone had to order at the bar and the bar only had three bartenders and hence the lines were really long. I think this place has great potential but they need to manage it well. More than 50% of the reserved tables were empty at 11 pm on a Saturday. They should also include some table side service if they want to create an intimate atmosphere. Overall, the place was super loud, not cz of the music but because of the people screaming. The cocktails were average. We tried a mangattan and a cosmopolitan. Both tasted cheap, likely made using cheap liquor and made really fast without any consideration to taste. I will not be back.

This place was by far an experience you must have and Maloree hands down elevated our experience to another level she was attentive and friendly . She deserves a raise !!

The views here are just INCREDIBLE! This rooftop has a full pan of South Lake Union and the Space Needle. It's especially gorgeous with all the fall foliage. The heaters on a chilly autumn evening were also a perfect touch. Drinks are expensive ($20+ range) but creative and delicious, and food does the job but is nothing to write home about (We got the BBQ Chicken Flatbread for $18 and the Charcuterie Board for $21). Stephanie was super sweet! Located on the rooftop of a hotel.

ALTITUDE Sky Lounge is located on the 16th floor of Astra Hotel. It has a great view of the Space Needle. You can also see a glimpse of Lake Union. Once you arrive at the hotel, it is very clear how to navigate your way up to the rooftop bar. However, it was a bit challenging operating the elevator as it seemed we needed to scan a hotel key card to access the different floors. My friend was celebrating her birthday and made the reservation for the party. It was a beautiful, sunny Saturday evening. Unfortunately, I forgot to bring my sunglasses, but the bar has sunglasses for customers to borrow during their time here if needed! My sister ordered the Ultraviolet Dreams (purple potato-infused tequila, coconut-ube black sea salt cream, Cointreau, lime) $21 and I ordered the Tech Bubbles (reposado tequila, mango-gochujang shrub, lime, Topo Chico) $20. These were both cocktails off their usual menu. The drinks were pleasant, but definitely on the pricey side. There are also small bites on their non-drink menu. We had a cake for the birthday girl, luckily the bar was able to provide plates and utensils, but for a cost. I don't remember if our waitress said it was $3 or $5 per. Regardless, it was more than I anticipated. All in all, it was a good experience. We were well taken care of with the staff here. They made sure to check back with us frequently.

Absolutely incredible experience!! All credit goes to Angel who was working there on Saturday night 4/24. We were visiting from LA and didn't have any reservations but she was super kind to let us have this amazing experience. Can't wait to go back! Thank you, Angel!!

Even with just two glasses of red wine each, our visit to Altitude Sky Bar was absolutely worth it. The atmosphere was laid-back and sophisticated, making it the perfect place to unwind and take in the city from above. We didn't try any food, but the wine was smooth, the service was chill, and we managed to snap some great photos thanks to the gorgeous skyline views. If you're looking for a spot to sip, relax, and elevate your evening in Seattle--this is it.

We were staying at Hotel Astra and this lovely dramatic sky bar is located rooftop of Astra. You must reserve on their website to visit the sky bar. I'm glad they limit capacity for a better experience. No shows are charged so cancel if you change your mind. You go up in the elevator and when you pop out you will be asked for your name on reservation. It's a 2 hour booking but if it's a slow weeknight you can usually stay longer. There's patio heaters and cool gas fire pits on the coffee tables as well. There is an appetizer menu. We had the charcuterie board. It was tasty. I had wine and Dan had a 7 & 7. Drinks and service are good. They have a small pizza oven up there and make small pizzas that looked good. We were having dinner downstairs so we didn't eat more. I highly recommend both Astra for a stay and Altitude for a great relaxing time.

Intimate seating but also good for groups

Ask the Community - Altitude Sky Lounge

If I make an indoor reservation, will there be a chance to get outdoor seating if available at the time?

I got an indoor reservation and requested for the outdoor upon arrival. They were able to place us outdoors. If you state in the reservation you want outdoors, that could help you. I booked for 8:00p.m. And had a phenomenal view of the sunset. 🌅

    How's the dress code?

Two of us women wore dresses. Dan wore nice slacks and polo shirt. No real dress code bud it's a nice place.

Is it a 21 and older restaurant?

    Yes!

Is it too cold to sit on the outside patio this time of year? I want to visit this weekend, but not sure if I should make the reservation for outside or inside.

Hello! The outdoor portion of our rooftop will be closed if there is rain or snow. If it is dry out, we may be able to use the fire pits. We are not currently offering bookable outdoor reservations online though, so you'd have to reserve indoor. If… Read more

Do you provide or validate parking?

Hello! Unfortunately, we do not validate. However, street parking is free after certain hours during the day, same with many of the garages in the area after 3pm. Thanks!

Can I come here on my 21st birthday? Will I be refused

    Yes just make reservation.

Will you guys be open end of this month?

Thanks for asking! Yes. We are open year round and have firepits for chillier nights, and inside seating with glass walls for the view!

Can you be under 21 years old but over 18 and get in?

Hello, unfortunately, no. We do not accept minors. You must be 21+ with a valid ID to get in.

    Are babies allowed?

I don't think so. They asked for my Id when I went.

Are non-service dogs allowed? She's an ESA dog if it counts?

Hello! I apologize but we are not pet friendly at this time.

I am not seeing an option to reserve on Tock. How can I make a reservation?

Hello! We've temporarily paused reservations. We are only accepting walk-ins at this time. Thank you.

    Do you accept walk-ins?

Hello Em! We accept limited walk-ins based on a first come, first serve basis. We highly recommend reservations to guarantee your spot, though. Thank you!

She recommended a Mezcal cocktail that was a great start! Surprising because it wasn't smoky typical to Mezcal, just perfectly balanced. Exactly what I wanted. For my main, I went with the short rib pappardelle. It was incredibly rich, and the meat was cooked to perfection. Hailee was attentive and made me feel welcome at the table, which isn't always the case when you're a party of one. Incredible service and an all-around top-tier meal. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Seattle!

The hostess walked us through the entire restaurant to the dark back wall, behind the bar. With tall bar chairs. Explained we didn't want that, she walked us back through the entire restaurant to a nice table up front by the windows. Tried a Malbec duo. One was delicious and didn't like the other at all; oddly tannic. The grilled mortadella should have been more grilled. Sitting in a generous portion of burratta-like cheese, olive oil and pistachio butter, it was delicious. But desperately needed some bread. How do eat this without any bread? Once the mortadella is gone, you are just eating spoonfuls of cheese, oil and butter? We hadn't seen our waitress since the app arrived. Having finished the mortadella we finally flagged down someone and asked if we could get a little bread. He said he would handle it right away. Another 10 minutes goes by and our waitress came by. Apologized for not being around and went to see about the bread. Finally got the bread, and it was delicious. But sooooo oily! Like a sponge it dozed oil every time I tried to break off a piece. Was dying to wash my hands. Our entrées were ok. The fried chicken with fusilli was pretty good, but difficult to eat in the deep bowl. Hard to cut. The crispy tofu wrap wasn't crispy and wasn't made well. I have absolutely no idea what flavor profile it was meant to be. Just muddy. I tried to eat the first half. It was stuffed so full it was impossible to eat. I took out more than half the filling before I could manage it. When I got to the second half I understood the issue. There was almost no crispy tofu, but lots of lettuce and other fillings. Maybe it would have eaten better if it had been constructed better. The fries were fine. Pleasant server, but perhaps had too many tables as we didn't get the service expected. It's been a long time since dining at the downtown Purple. Likely wouldn't go back.

Amazing wines, creative cocktails, solid snacks, great service and even games. You could wander in "for one flight" and somehow emerge six hours later wondering where the time went (in the best way.) On the wine side, they offer several thoughtfully curated flights, or you can build your own adventure. Which I highly recommend. The dessert wines alone are incredible, and the selection of aromatic whites is seriously impressive. No matter your palate, there's something here that will make you pause, sip again, and nod approvingly. And then there are the wine-based cocktails that deserve their own standing ovation. A wine tasting room doing cocktails this well is rare. We tried the Espresso Martini, the French 125, and the Lavender Lemon Martini, and every single one was better than I expected grape-based cocktails to be. Like, pleasantly shocked. This used to be one of my favorite spots at Pike Market. For years, I made it a tradition to bring out-of-town guests here. Over time, I have brought more than 100 people here. It had a charming, warm, and welcoming feel--like a hidden gem in the city. It oozed with kindness and fun. Unfortunately, that has completely flipped! Since the new manager, Anthony, took over, the entire atmosphere has shocked me. What was once inviting now is rigid, cold, and unwelcoming. The biggest issue, however, was the way I was treated. The interaction felt unnecessarily rude and dismissive, which was both surprising and disappointing given my long history with this place. Great establishments are built not just on food or ambiance, but on how people are treated--and that piece is clearly missing now. It's especially unfortunate because the rest of the team still shows glimpses of what this place used to be. Jordon, was genuinely kind and pleasant, but one positive interaction couldn't outweigh the manager's miserable attitude. It's hard to see a place that once felt so special lose its charm like this. I know the winemaker Paul is a great person - so it is hard to leave such a terrible review, but at the same time, if this was my place -- I would want to know what was happening behind the scenes at my establishment. I truly hope leadership reflects on how customer experience is being handled moving forward. Don't give money to places that have toxic attitudes and are joy crushers! Life is too short and far too precious! In the meantime, there are many nearby spots that consistently deliver both quality and incredible hospitality. Skip this place, and instead go to Browne Family Vineyards Tasting Room, The Lonely Siren, The Pink Door, Place Pigalle, or Maximilien. Those places are working very hard to create an exceptional experience!
