    Sazerac

Cute little place in Pioneer Square. Interesting wine selection and nice cocktail selection. Food exists here, but we didn't have any. Sazerac wasn't the best, but hey what can ya do. Nice place to hang with a friend or two and chit chat. 7/10 will return

    All at once old fashioned

The service was amazing. The drink choices and food menu were incredibly original. The steelhead trout was amazing. The asparagus and sauce cut through the richness of the trout to give a very well balanced meal. Great spot to stop in for a quick bite.

This spot is a good stop to add to any bar hopping adventure. Damn the Weather is a gastropub located in the historic neighborhood of Pioneer Square. They serve creative craft cocktails and comfort food with a twist. The vibes are cozy the interior design is a mix of modern and vintage. They have an outdoor patio area, however it's not covered. Cocktails at Damn The Weather is on point. I've tried their La Hara Old Fashioned which is aged haitian rum, amaretto, maraschino, aromatic bitters. This cocktail is spirit forward with a smooth finish. Their warm cheese plate comes with accompaniments and the perfect nosh in between sips of their craft cocktails. The duck fat fries with five spice is a decadent treat and is served with a side of aioli. Fair warning, they are addicting. The one thing to watch out for is the foot traffic. This spot gets busy in the afternoon especially after a home game. Patio area is great if the weather cooperates.

Always a good time at DTW! We were here to celebrate my birthday and as always the food was excellent. I ordered the sweet corn risotto and thoroughly enjoyed it. We shared two orders of their duck fat fries for the table - a must try! So amazing! All of our cocktails were excellent and loved the gin take on an old fashioned. They don't take reservations, so get in early! A Thursday night was a full night here. The place is dark with warm lighting, and lingering Christmas lights above the bar. A great space to curse the weather while having good food and drinks.

I was so excited to have a chance to stop in here before an event but then was a bit let down by the lackluster menu and food; after all, this Seattle mainstay has been on my restaurant foodie lover wishlist for years! The host and bartender/server were each wonderful and let me select my bar seat (week night dining at 5:30p-ish), while also giving me time & space to choose my own adventure as I tend to prefer. I had a tasty strawberry smokeshow cocktail. After perusing the menu forever--noting it in very few ways matched what I had previously looked up online on my train ride to town--I finally settled on the orecchiette pasta which ended up being a bunch of tasty pasta and a whole lot of sausage but then quite light on vegetables, if any at all were hidden in there (the menu says broccoli was part of the dish but I could not find it). I added a delicious glass of white wine (Donkey & Goat Field Blend), and rounded out the meal with the flourless chocolate cake which was pretty good. If the menu can be flushed out to a deeper flavor soirée with more creativity to return to what I assume it once was--or to at least match the steep pricing--then I would consider trying this place again.

We got game 5 tickets to the mariners so we picked a restaurant close to the stadium! Can you believe no wait for a 4 top just a few hours before game time - even better. The gals ordered the chicken sandwich and the guys burgers. We also ordered the duck fat fries as an appetizer. Drinks and fries were delivered quickly. Our sandwiches came shortly after. This bird was massive and just the right touch of hot honey made for a pretty delicious sandwich. The burgers were good too, not a speck left on anyone's plate. The crowd was getting louder as game time approached. Lines forming at the door, so glad we came hours early. Lots of festive fans, staff was attentive - almost too attentive like she was trying to hurry us but with the gathering crowd I can see why. Aesthetic and decor also great.

This was a very "fine" experience before the Mariner game. It's a nice ambience that is cozy and neighborhood comfortable that's not some giant place with a million people there. The food was fine. The burger was good but nothing special. The salad was basically a pile of lettuce with nothing interesting including dressing that was not notable. Service was very pleasant and good. Not a bad place by any means, but not great for what I had. I had the duck-fat fries too which I didn't care for but that's a personal preference. I thought it would be something new and interesting to try but I didn't care for it. But if you're into something unique like that, then I'm sure they're great. It's a good walking distance to the stadiums which was nice.

We came because its name caught our attention. Their cocktails were a bit too dry for my taste, not to my liking. But it's worth a try.

We were visiting Seattle this weekend and happened to go in on a busy night after the sea hawks game, luckily we were promptly seated and the host was extremely gracious as well as our server. Food and drinks were yummy. Overall good vibes and moody atmosphere.

Great spot for a post M's game drink or casual get together with friends. Damn the Weather is located in the historic Pioneer Square and is in a high traffic area. This bar has both hipster and cozy vibes. They have a sidewalk patio and indoor seating. Their patio is my preferred area for summer afternoon cocktails and people watching. On the drink front, they don't miss. Their old fashioned and manhattan both hit the mark, and the orange wine is easily one of the best I've had. It was bright, crisp, and way too easy to order a second. They have a decent food menu ranging from small plates to full entrees. The duck fat fries are criminally good (you've been warned!) Their cured meats plate is also good and filling. This place does fill up during happy hour and does have some limitations for large parties. Their weekday rally is from 4:30 to 6:30. They do have discounts on snacks, beer, wine, and cider. Service was fantastic! We were greeted promptly and our server was fast and got us our drinks in no time.

The ambiance was chill and pleasant! We had the meatballs and chicken wings. Perfect bites for the relaxed evening. Had a great time!

    Tropicana Spritz And The Cornichins

Certainly is an appropriate name because of Seattle's infamous rainy conditions. Damn The Weather is one of the hip places in Pioneer Square. It has lots of classy drinks as well as some food like charcuterie and things. Has additional rooms for banquets and groups. The prices are okay compared to some other places. A bar with a few things to eat. It's more of a bar than a restaurant it feels like. The bar in the middle is the main focus of the place. Has better cocktails to be honest. These aren't cheap but they're strong. It's about $13 for a typical cocktail. Last time we got a few including the Tropicana Spritz. Good one. This is made with Blanc vermouth, Cava, Gran Classico, Orange Blossom water, and soda water. As for the food, it has limits. There's not a whole lot for vegans. It's about $4 for the Cornichins. These are small pickled gherkins. There's a few things like the Grilled Vegetable Skewers that are like $16 or more, but it also has cream sauce. Has quite a few meaty choices. There's beef, lamb, and seafood. Good place for a few drinks and maybe some food. It's located on 1st Avenue at Washington Street. The cocktails are better than the food, which has mostly meaty things along with some things for vegetarians.

Cute bar with outdoor patio in Pioneer Square with decent cocktails. Fries were super well seasoned and loved the mini pickles too. The better as Friends cocktail was very sweet and staff was kind up until there was a waitlist and they seemed like they wanted us to leave. Slightly pricier but classic Seattle bar.

The First Gentleman was attentive and we got our drinks and an appetizer timely. We ordered our second appetizer with our first server and thats where the service deteriorated. I could hear the table next to us ordered the exact same appetizer as we did 10-15 mins after we did and a new server who must had just clocked in brings them the order literally within 2-3 mins later and the male commented, "oh that was fast" and I thought to myself they got our order. Another 10-15 mins go by and I had to ask "do you know how long our order will take to which she seemed to get annoyed. It could have my energy because by that time I was annoyed. I'm not sure what happened to our original server but he must have gotten off. About 5-10 mins goes by and here it comes. That confirmed the table next to us got our order because of how long it took. They never apologized for their mistake. Doing all that time they never came back to see if we would like another drink. I had to flag someone down. The clincher was we got our bill and there was 22% service charge. That was on me because if I would have seen it I might not have gone. I'm not a fan of automatically charging a service charge. I'm a great tipper but it must be earned. By than I was really annoyed and thought to have a conversation with the manager but let it go. I would not go back. The craft cocktails are spendy but I had no problem with that because they're creative and they earned it by being creative. But the energy and the environment wasn't like the other speak easy bars I visited. It was boring and to top it off the service charge of 22% and the service that came with it sealed it for me. Make sure to read the website on their thought around the 22%.

People walk in, fall in love with the vibe, and walk out talking about the food. The consistency is unreal. They even order food to go. The flavors? Bold, intentional, and layered in a way that makes each dish feel crafted, not just cooked. The presentation is always stunning; plates that look as good as they taste. Their cocktails are balanced and creative, the kind that make you slow down just to appreciate the mixology behind them. And for anyone planning group outings: reservations here are a breeze. Roquette was a surprisingly small space with a wonderful vibe serving up "destination" bar-worthy cocktails. It reminded me of some of the neighborhood gem cocktail bars that I'd frequented on the East Coast. I grabbed a seat at the bar. Roquette's lineup of cocktails were varied in flavor profile using a wide range of spirits. They also served non-alcoholic offerings which looked equally intriguing as their boozy selections. I started off with the 99 Problems ($28), which, unfortunately, I forgot to note what was in the drink. It was boozy, clever, inventive, and most importantly delicious. My second drink was the Imperium Old Fashioned ($24) made with Westland Whiskey "Roquette" Barrel, Clement Cask Strength Rhum, Old Delicious Apple Brandy, Pineapple, and Spice. It was an excellent, boozy, balanced update to the classic Old Fashioned. Although I went with drinks off their menu, I have no doubt that any of their skilled bar professionals could've crafted me a wonderful cocktail if I had simply requested a classic or something on the fly based on my choice of spirit and desired flavor profile. Yes, the prices on the two drinks I ordered were pretty steep, but they were comparable to prices I've paid in Las Vegas.
