Great establishments are built not just on food or ambiance, but on how people are treated--and that piece is clearly missing now. It's especially unfortunate because the rest of the team still shows glimpses of what this place used to be. Jordon, was genuinely kind and pleasant, but one positive interaction couldn't outweigh the manager's miserable attitude. It's hard to see a place that once felt so special lose its charm like this. I know the winemaker Paul is a great person - so it is hard to leave such a terrible review, but at the same time, if this was my place -- I would want to know what was happening behind the scenes at my establishment. I truly hope leadership reflects on how customer experience is being handled moving forward. Don't give money to places that have toxic attitudes and are joy crushers! The winner for me was the gnochi but someone else from my table could not stop raving about the cannelloni so multiple dishes stood out throughout the night. The braised spring lamb was tender and fell right off the bone. I would skip the halibut - it was too salty! We also ordered a bottle of wine to share and the recommendation by the server was a crowd pleaser. If you're not sure what to get for wine, ask the server! Maybe it was because each course took a while to come out, but none of us were satisfied with the quantity they served because we had to wait so long.
