The Sitting Room has been around for decades, but I only came across it recently as I was looking for a place for a drink before a Yelp Event in Lower Queen Anne. And it was a perfect place for a cocktail or two and lite bites. It's a little off the main drag so that's why I haven't seen it before but the space is fairly large with a bar, seating area and a patio. The bar is well-stocked and they had genever, so I started with a genever Martinez, which was solid. I then ordered one of their cocktails, Fuller, go easy on the Pepsi which had Whistle Pig rye, Willett bourbon, Cola reduction, Luxardo sour cherry bitters, Angostura bitters, and orange spritz. Loved the reference to Home Alone and loved this variation an old fashioned - I could taste the cola reduction. Service was great behind the bar - the folks here know their cocktails and had a lot of passion about the bar. Definitely will come back again when in the neighborhood. read more

The indoor-outdoor flow is especially lovely during warm summer days. We sat in shade during a very hot afternoon and felt very pleased with ourselves -- people watching and sipping drinks mixed with finesse and balance. The waitress was talented for her role - able to fluidly describe the forward and last tasting notes of each drink, without hesitation. She is an asset to the bar, and easily would sell each drink to customers. She would help you make a decision from among their dazzling (but not Cheesecake Factory length) menu of drinks, each footnoted with detailed ingredient notes. We shared an espresso martini and the midnight in Paris, the drinks were really nice and tasty and had good flavors. I do wish the prices were a bit cheaper but I can't complain too much since they're quite standard for drinks, but some of the other drinks were even more expensive. Came here for sort of a UYE following the Tailgate Time event by recommendation. I was put on to a new type of drink that is specialized here, Chartreuse. Chartreuse is a French herbal liqueur that is usually in green and yellow and differ by the place, bartender, alcohol used. Started with a couple of Midnight in Paris cocktails - Blood orange infused vodka, ginger, mint, fresh lemon, topped with Brut. My kind of drink - citrusy and smooth. Then a round of Chartresue called "The Last Laugh", also smooth and sort of herbal. Very good, almost like a strong tea. The server was very friendly - talking about specials, her preferred drinks and such which made the visit a little more personable. This place has a great pisco sour with a sprig of rosemary lit on top for both garnish and scent. The Crunchwrap Supremes feel a bit random, but the Hawaiian one (the second most popular) was actually pretty good! This place honestly deserves a sixth star-- it's one of my go-to date night spots. It's intimate without feeling uncomfortable and hip without trying too hard. Most recently, my husband and I visited for dinner on a Friday night around 7pm and had multiple table options, though the restaurant was about 70% full (and filling up more). We were in high spirits and our waitress joined right in without missing a beat, cracking jokes with us, and adding to the overall great vibes. The cocktail list is extensive and truly has something for everyone, even several non-alcoholic cocktails and low ABV options (even a n/a rosé!). As someone who doesn't drink much, this is the dream. The n/a options even have fun names like the regular cocktails to make it feel even more normalized. My drink, the (non-alcoholic) Prickly in Pink, was delicious and aesthetically pleasing. Basically, a prickly pear margarita. My husband loved his (alcoholic) cocktail also though I forgot which one he had. Now, the reason we're all here-- the crunchywraps! These delectable creations are what the fast food guys down the street WISH they were doing. Every filling we've tried has been delicious but this visit, we both had the limited edition birria crunchywrap that comes with a bowl of consommé for dipping... there are no words. Just get it. I don't know how many signatures I'd need for a petition to make this a permanent menu item but I'd gladly start lobbying tomorrow. 10/10 for ambiance, service, food, and drinks at every visit. read more

So happy with our experience getting drinks here! We came early like 5:30PM on a Friday and was able to get a table for two. The server was friendly and able to answer my questions when I couldn't decide between two drinks. We ordered an espresso martini and a drink similar to an old fashioned (I can't recall the name). The drinks were very tasty. I really liked the espresso martini the best! The foam had more of a cinammon flavor to it. The place itself wasn't too busy and the acoustic were great, we were able to easily hear each other and have a conversation. Prices were as expected at $15-$17 a drink. Phenomenal drinks and you have to try their munch wrap supreme. They're always rotating seasonal cocktails but you can't go wrong with their classics. They serve them in fun receptacles, too! Parking sucks though so take the bus or something. Moody lighting and a cozy atmosphere. read more

This is a great spot for pre-show dinner and drinks! Tucked away from the main drag I don't know how I've missed this business before. So glad we got to try it out recently! I had the impossible meat taco salad and my friend had a crunchy wrap. We each had a couple of delectable drinks to go with our meals and made it over the Rep just in time for the curtain! Note it is an 8-minute brisk walk from this restaurant and the Seattle Rep Theater! Service here was good and parking was super convenient near the entrance. I've only been here during the holidays, when they have their Home Alone pop-up going on, and I absolutely love it. They have the movie playing on loop on the screens, and the front area is decorated with all sorts of props from the movie. The drink menu even has themed drinks, named after iconic people or lines in the movie. The drinks tend to be on the sweeter side, but definitely still hold their own in terms of alcohol content. I'm a sucker for anything passionfruit and when they photo for the Dime Piece popped up on their Instagram a Passionfruit Martini with a sidecar of Brut for $10 during their Aperitivo Hour 4pm-5pm. How could I resist especially since I get off at 3 in the Pioneer Square neighborhood. Got there right at 4pm yesterday. Opted to sit inside instead of outside since it was a bit warm and they had air conditioning. Ordered the Roasted Marcona Truffle Almonds & Castelvetrano Olives $8 during Aperitivo along with my Dime Piece cocktail. I probably could've at the entire bowl of the truffle marconas in one sitting. Instead I ordered a couple of their Taco al Pastor at $3.75 a piece. Perfect summer meal. The cocktail was well balanced and the Brut sipper was a perfect pairing. I asked to have the rest of the Marcona truffle almonds bagged to bring home they were that good. I'll have to try tossing some in truffle oil next time. Staff was friendly and attentive. I feel like if you didn't know the neighborhood you might not know this bar existed. This is my favorite bar in Seattle so it is about time I write a review. I come here often and when I tell you I dream about the crunchywraps, I am not joking. The aesthetic is a cozy vibe, the food is delicious, the drinks are always a hit, and the prices are very reasonable. I tell everyone I know about this place! We stopped in again last night to get our crunchywrap fix and got to try some of the new SUPER CUTE holiday drinks. Definitely try the North Bend Shovel Slayer for the most instagrammable drink! (We didn't get to try it because the foam wasn't working but we will be back again to try this one soon!) We got the Kevin! and the Kenosha Kickers which were both cute and delicious. A friend raved to me about this place and brought me here! It did not disappoint. The inside is cool, but the exterior and location are not the most appealing. However, the food was absolutely delicious and the drinks were great too. Our server was very sweet, and the food came out really quick! 2 years later, I'm still impressed. A gem to have in the lower QA neighborhood. Ambiance: Its eclectic, like someone's living room. It has a mood. It feels romantic and kind of cool. I tried the pear martini (refreshing, strong, almost had a margarita vibe to it) and a new run-based citrus drink on the menu. Our server also threw in a taste of the rum on the side. We decided to venture to eat in the outside world after 3 months of holing up during this dreadful quarantine. So decided on The Sitting Room because it's within walking distance and they distanced, outdoor heated seating. It was wonderful. It was 40° out but we felt toasty sitting next to two patio heaters. Staff wore masks the whole time, we wore masks when not eating or drinking. We ordered: Cocktails- Paper Plane (strong lemon flavor); Lavender Empire; Last Word (my partner liked this one); Whistlepig Old Fashioned (dare I say one of my favorite Old Fashioned I've ever had. I think at one point (pre covid) this place was supposed to be nicer / fancier food. Saw pics of caprese salad, charcuterie, etc. When we went last night we enjoyed a casual environment with good drinks and tacos. We saw a good amount of outdoor seating too which was all heated. Took a while to get service and our first drinks but once we finally did, everything was great. Mezcalarita was great! I asked for it spicy and the bartender made it with a bit of Serrano simple. More spicy than sweet. Husband ordered the fig old fashioned which he said was a little too sweet. Pretty good beer and cider selection too. I was pleasantly surprised to see the aspall dry English cider on the menu. This is a pretty unusual one for bars to carry... one of my faves. Food menu was mexican... chips/salsa, burritos, tacos, quesadillas, tostadas and their take on the Crunchwrap! The tacos were yummy but on the smaller side (street taco size). Got two pastor and one chorizo. Was not full! My husband's munchywrap (glorified Crunchwrap) was amazing though. Came with pastor, along with Spanish rice, beans, guac, lettuce and some other goodies. Also had a side of red salsa which wasn't too spicy but very flavorful. my absolute favorite spot in queen anne (and seattle so far since i moved here in 21). the pictures aren't updated here and this place gives vampiric, sensual, moody, date night vibes. the cocktails are awesome and there's so many to choose you'll have to come back to finish the list. they also have GREAT wine, including orange wine! ;) the food is easy and delicious. my go to is the chicken crunchwrap supreme. and the s'mores churros if i have a sweet tooth. the service is unmatched. i do frequent this bar and some of them know my face, but everytime they're super accommodating. on two espérate occasions they made me a custom drink bc i wasn't sure what i wanted and they just helped me get something off the menu. it was awesome! read more
