WOW!!! This is my new favorite bar in Seattle. I had never had an espresso martini and have always avoided them because I was scared of being simultaneously struck with bitter coffee and burning vodka. BUT WOW, this drink tasted SOOO good. It had the perfect element of sweetness to cut the coffee's bitterness. The vodka is perfectly covered such that you feel a little sensation on your tongue from it on each sip and nothing else. The place quickly filled up on a Saturday night and soon had people waiting for seats. But with only one waiter and one bar tender working the wait to get served was ridiculously long. This place is so cozy, and we loved coming here for a nightcap after a long day of showing our friends, visiting from San Francisco and LA, around the city. Noticed when I was there last time they were selling hotdogs but didn't get one. Drinks are pretty expensive, though. Or at least a Manhattan is. With tip, it was about $30. I've heard of Belmont and was happy to give it a go on a weeknight during the fall! It was pretty full, although not packed, so plan accordingly if you're to stop in on a weekend.
