First time here. Overall thought service was outstanding and food was pretty good. Not the best but 4/5 fits it nicely. The bánh mì with cold cuts needed more meat. It also only had 2 kinds of Vietnamese cold cut meats, which I didn't mind, but it needed more in there. There's a super thin layer of mayo and pate I think. Bread was very fresh! I give 3/5 Kimchi fried rice had good kimchi flavor. Portion size was large. 10 piece fried chicken (wings) was good. The skin was way fattier than I would've liked and it could've been fried longer to help melt some of the fat out and make it crunchier. It was super hot, fresh, and juicy though. Radish was free. It came with sauce but only on the side. Personally, I would want to try other korean fried chicken places to compare before coming back here again Waffle fries come with either ranch or ketchup. Large portion sizes! For all we ordered, it was around $55. Great price for the portions and variety imo. Service was outstanding as I mentioned. One older woman worker felt like she was my auntie. The tteokbokki was very reasonably priced, with a soft, chewy, and bouncy texture. It included rice cakes, fish cake, and an egg. Flavor wise, it leaned more toward the sweeter side and was not very spicy. We ordered the full-size fried chicken, which allows you to choose two flavors. You can add a third flavor for $1, while the half order comes with only one flavor. We chose Golden Honey, a savory sweet sauce, and the Kalbi sauce, which has a Korean BBQ profile with a sweet soy flavor. For my taste, both sauces were slightly on the salty side. The server was very friendly and checked in on us regularly. They also let us know that we could ask for more pickled radish at any time, which was a nice touch. Also not going to lie, I don't know how it feel for a restaurant specializing in Korean Fried Chicken and is also selling Vietnamese Banh Mi. Kkokio was banging. The wings were hitting, fried rice was nice and filling, and the spring rolls had a lot of shrimp in them which I appreciated because spots love to be stingy with that. Came here to try their fried chicken and it was so good! I tried their K2 yum yum sauce and it was perfectly sweet with the chicken. The service was great and answered all my questions since it was my first time. The chicken wings were moist, crunchy, with all the flavor hanging onto the crevices of the wing batter. Solid fried chicken. Very crispy on the outside, moist on the inside with great seasoning. We ordered a half order (6 drumsticks) which is about $19 for excellent quality chicken. The sweet snow "flavor" that we chose was a bit too sweet, but still very enjoyable and savory. The pickled radishes were good. Parking is relatively easy. Hands down one of the best Korean fried chicken I've had! It was just so delicious. This casual place is right outside of China town and has its own parking lot so it was convenient. Just so thankful for the reasonable price, variety and the taste! You order ahead and then seat yourself. But they still gave us water and came back to refill them which was nice. I went here for the first time for the plate of nations. It's definitely my new go to Korean fried chicken place. We got the chicken wings with Yum Yum sauce at medium and it was not too spicy. I love the golden honey sauce which had a savory flavor. We also got the jasmine honey citron, which has bits of lemon in it, which I loved. This newly open Asian fusion (Korean and Vietnamese) restaurant is a MUST TRY food place to eat at. I had the crispy pork sandwich and it was DELICIOUS. Not only that, it was a big portion for only $6.50. The pork was so crispy and tasty to eat. Next time I go here, I'm definitely getting that same sandwich. We also tried the Bossam sandwich, which is grilled pork with house special sauce, kimchi, and etc and it was good too. The service here was great. The managers and owners here are very friendly with their customers and they are more than happy to help out with people's questions. The managers/owners spirit is great and they show passion for their restaurant. The food didn't take that long to make. HEADS UP: They charge an extra 50 cents if you ask for "light ice." I was pretty disappointed that they have that feature. I enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. It was nicely decorated with multiple features that I enjoyed. One, each table has a cool, little lamp. Some tables have these cute birds included. And overall, the restaurant is well organized and looks brand new, as it should. There's a greenery wall that they have near the bathroom that can almost act as a good background for your photo. Overall, I highly recommend trying this new Asian fusion restaurant. All the sauces were sweet and it's better to get the fried chicken so you can switch to different sauces. The mundan were yummy!! I wish there was more filling to it. Can't forget to eat the pickled radish with every bite! Lastly, the chicken skewers were pretty good. Some pieces were dry and others were juicy/fatty. I liked dipping it with the fish sauce. I just noticed this place the other day and had to stop by! We ordered the snow fried wings and kimchi fried rice with an egg. The food came out very quickly, we were waiting for 10 minutes max. That being said, everything still tasted pretty fresh and hot! The snow on the wings is not my favorite -- it's weirdly sweet but this is just personal preference. Preface: I have been looking forward to the opening of kkokio for a while. As a regular visitor of Seattle Bouldering Project nearby, I always thought that treating myself to some Korean fried chicken afterward would be the best thing ever. The review: I came here on a Friday night around a week after their opening. The place was fairly packed, but not too busy that I couldn't find seating. I ordered the honey wings and a side of tteokkbokki. The honey wings were pretty solid overall, being juicy and having a solid crispy exterior. The flavors were as you would expect, sweet and salty, but nothing really extraordinary. Solid overall. The tteokkbokki, however, was a HUGE disappointment. Literally. The tteokbokki was served as a bowl of watery flavorless broth containing a dozen or so fish cakes and a single, enormous, undercooked stick of rice cake. I kid you not, the thing was probably an inch wide. As a result, the interior was vastly undercooked. And because the broth already had so little flavor, the ttokbokki ended up tasting just like a slightly spicy, undercooked rice cake. Overall, I don't think I'm coming back here. Even though the chicken was solid, my experience with the ttokbokki makes me really question the edibility of the other items on the menu. read more

We ordered a full set of wings (around $30) and tried some bahn mi's (around $8 each). The wings were better than expected: portion size was quite generous and wings were juicy. We got half of the k2 sauce and half honey, and both were decent flavors. I do wish the K2 was spicier as we got level 4 out of 5 spiciness and it was pretty tame, though this is definitely personal preference. There were some interesting asian fusion bahn mi's. My friends & I love this place! The food is amazing & at a great price - if you like banh mi sandwiches you should check this place out, the bread & sauce they use is different than what I have tried anywhere else! They have amazing fries, fried chicken, and noodle bowls. I love the indoor atmosphere, the lighting is great, there is a good amount of tables making it good for groups. One thing - I have not been able to do an online order which can be inconvenient at times. The full menu they have in person is not shown online. The only item you can order is sauces.
