Me and my boyfriend came here for happy hour hotpot and it was a pretty good deal! Service was amazing, the place was clean. The only downside was that there's only little legroom under the tables. I love the buffet style where you can pick your meats and veggies instead of waiting on a server to deliver them. My main issue was that the meat quality was not superb. In one of my photos you can see the meats is turning grey and so is the lotus root which threw me off because I've never had issues with lotus root. Thankfully our server did not charge us for leftover meat otherwise that would've been absurd! I think I would come here again only during happy hour!

Liuyishou can be considered the flagship chain around here. It offers a self-service combo of barbecue and hot pot--you can choose to have hot pot on its own, but you can't have barbecue by itself. Environment: The setting is nice, clean, and tidy, with relatively comfortable seating for everyone. When we arrived, many of the food items hadn't been set out yet. ‍ Service: The staff had a great attitude--they proactively guided us to our seats and explained the hot pot and barbecue combo options. However, it was clear they were understaffed. Taste: It's all you can eat. The meat options for hot pot were mostly frozen--beef, various meatballs, etc. For barbecue, only one seasoned steak was made from fresh meat; the quality of the meat was average. Other items also appeared to have been thawed from frozen. There was a good selection of vegetables, along with some custard buns and fried chicken items. As for the dipping sauces, since there were many choices for the broth base, we tried the spicy beef tallow broth. The flavor wasn't particularly rich, and I believe the other broth bases would likely be similar. If the broth itself isn't outstanding, then more care should be put into the selection of dipping sauces. As a restaurant offering a spicy broth base, I really don't understand why they don't provide minced garlic. A famous Chinese hot pot brand, Donglaishun, used to close for three months during a specific time of year in its early days. Before closing, they would double the saltiness of their dipping sauce to stimulate customers' taste buds, making them crave that flavor. This ensured that when they reopened the following year, many customers would return. This shows just how important the dipping sauce is.Just FYI

AYCE hot pot and BBQ

I saw this place just opened and been wanting to try it every time I went to Ranch 99! We got seated right away, the service was very fast and efficient! We got the AYCE hot pot and BBQ. I forgot to take a picture of the topping bar but they have a decent selection, one thing tho the meat for BBQ might be a bit too fatty! The hotpot topping was on point and the sauce bar was great too! I will come back again for sure! For me, 45$ per person for all the options is a good price!

I personally don't really understand why this place have such a high rating. The food quality was not that great and there were not that many options. I had expectations coming from their Bellevue location but was disappointed with it. Additionally, our server didn't tell us what the price was for standard and when the bill came out to 169 for 3 people, I was utterly shocked. While I do know that AYCE places aren't normally amazing, usually you get a bang for your buck but $169 for terrible AYCE was not worth it. Even simple ice cream tasting like water was disgusting. Would not come back at all.

AYCE is $45 and the premium menu is $60 per person. So excited to try this place as it's the closest bbq/hot pot duo restaurant. We decided to go big or go home and do the premium menu. Overall experience was underwhelming. The broth we chose were delicious, pork bone with tripe and the spicy broth, super spicy. Not many options for the hot food bar or veggies bar as other ayce restaurants. And the kimchi is very salty, sadly. Sauce bar had many options to choose from. Sadly the ice cream machine broken on a Sunday lunch (right as they open). Interior clean but be careful when walking around as you can bump into the side tables that are on wheels and gets busy so easy to do if not paying attention. Service was good. Kudos to the busboy, he did great constantly clearing everyone's tables. Fountain drink is self pour and given in a plastic to go cup. There was a cracked shell in my oysters for the grill. It was under all the garlic so just be aware. The oysters for hot pot and grill did come frozen. They tasted fresh and went well with the sauce I was able to create with all the options. We tried all the premium meats on the menu and found them delightful. For price, options & overall experience- we would most likely choose elsewhere. Maybe give it another shot and experience their weekday lunch.

First time trying here and the concept of hotpot and kbbq is great. The restaurant itself was clean and staff were pretty nice. The reason why I gave it a bit lower rating is because the selection of meat for hotpot was kind of small, the only noodles option they had was ramen. No vermicelli or other type of noodles choice. They did not have shrimp paste like most places and a lot of other items not there. As far as the Kbbq the meat quality was decent. Again not that much option of meat in my opinion. The other complaint I had was between the meat selection and the dessert area, it really smelled like the bathroom. That part was not it for me, I thought it was like a one time smell I encounter but with multiple times walking by the smell was still there. Overall the experience was nice for me and my family but it was a bit overpriced.

Ayce for $45 per person and a 90 limit. My party of 4 waited for almost 40 minutes on a Saturday night for dinner. There was little parking space and spots were a tight fit. Variety was massive! lots of meats, seafood, and veggies to choose from. The sauce bar was great but they had some missing labels so some sauces were a mystery. They also had a bunch of side dishes too! The grill worked a little slow but the hotpot was fast to boil, you can adjust both to your desired heat level

Probably too much high expectation for this new store in south of Greater Seattle area, it was good addition to hotpot stores but found it no longer competitive with famous Haidilao brand. Just an under-average level food court, with limited choices of hotpot dishes, vegi and fruits, at a high price. Some sauce was no longer tasted the same nor as authentic as it should be. BIG disappointment. 特别备注:传统的火锅蘸酱之一的麻酱,在此店是混了花生酱、又稀又古怪的一种味道!由此严重怀疑其他菜品的质量,因为店主竟然在最基本的佐料上省那么一点小钱!

Frequent hot pot patron, (but we don't have as many wonderful options as the PNW). I loved this place. The broth was delicious and the vegetable and noodle options were great. I feel the meat selection has less variety than other restaurants but nonetheless, it was so tasty. I would absolutely recommend and definitely come back.

Sooo good. Came here on a Monday night and put our names on the waitlist. Waited about 10 or so minutes. It was really busy but we got our meats quickly! They're also very quick to collect empty plates. There were lots of meat options and each of them tasted great! The quality was definitely there. The tom yum broth was also very good. Really enjoyed this place. It's a bit pricey but I'd definitely come back.

Absolutely loved this new All You Can Eat Hot Pot & BBQ at Great Wall. The selection is amazing with plenty of variety, and the cuts of meat are high quality. The sauce selection is incredible as well they had something for every taste. The location is great, and the inside is beautifully designed and spacious, making it a very comfortable dining experience. Our server, Kevin, was super kind and friendly, which made everything even better. Highly recommend loved it!

Monica S.

My ideal rating would be 3 stars for the hot pot and 1.5 for everything else. Maybe it's because they're still smoothing out their kinks but our experience was very chaotic and lackluster. Granted we came in new years day, so I expected it to be busy and crazy, and I wasn't trying to be offended by any of that. We were sat at a table that felt VERY crowded, as there are 4 hot pot spots and a middle grill, and the leftover small space was covered with grill tools and plates. There's a wheeled shelf on the side where we guessed you'd either put more things that wouldn't fit on the table or the additional plates with noodles, veggies, etc. Anyway, you order from a tablet, and the prices were quite hefty for what was available to you in the menu vs. out in the open buffet area. We chose the regular pricing, so we ordered a few grilling meats and headed to the buffet area. This area was ravaged and many things were dirty and/or empty. I saw a few workers trying to refill things but for the volume of customers, this was done VERY slowly. Buffet selection was good, loads of veggies, fish and noodles and other items to add to your hot pot. The sauces area was also a wreck, and that particular section did not get replenished during our entire visit. You get 2 hours per table, by the way. Pros: our broths were tasty. You definitely get full on hot pot and related items. It's cute to have soft serve for dessert. Buffet were fresh and tasted good. Cons: we ordered rice bowls. We never got them. In fact, we asked the waitress for them about 5 times, and each time she said there was an issue, or it wasn't ready, or the rice cooker was slow, yet we saw tables who had paid for the more expensive meal with bowls. No other tables had rice, either. By the end of our 2 hours, we never got rice, which sucks, because you pay for that with your meal. The grill and grill meats are LAUGHABLE. Traditional bbq places give you a plate full of meats. This place has some plates that are full, yes, but if you order something like pork belly, you get ONE half slice per table. I know we are in a recession so I guess this restaurant helps you ration?? Also, if you want a soda, they bring you a cup at some point of your visit and it's your job to go refill it. I had to dump my mt. Dew because it was 5% flavor, 95% bubbles. You will have trouble refilling anyway because 9/10 times your path will be blocked by someone picking up plates upon plates from tables. They park their cleaning cart and take up the whole aisle so you're forced to walk around the entire restaurant to access the drinks and buffet area. Inconsequential to some, annoying to others. Lastly, the grill itself was the bane of our existence and why we only ordered a few grilling meats and gave up. They dropped into the grill, creating fires in most tables, got stuck to the metal wiring and made picking them up a huge challenge without breaking them into piece that would then drip or fall through the holes...it was a disaster. My parents really liked the food and concept but still said 2 stars when I asked for their rating, so maybe give them some time to work things out and return. Keep in mind the grill meats issue and maybe order accordingly?

Liuyishou is an all you can eat and grill spot that would be a nice place to go with friends. I went her with some family and it has taken over a space in the Great Wall Mall strip complex in Kent. It isn't a huge space so make sure to come earlier for a spot inside. It got really busy after 6pm. I would definitely come back if I was in the mood for a little bit of both world. I like it a little bit better than howpot since I feel like you can actually grill meats. Staff: nice (5/5) Sanitation status: (4/5) Hotpot (5/5) There is so many options for hotpot I loved it. The marinated fish was definitely a favorite in my group. They have a bunch of veggies and mushrooms as well you can add in. The fatty beef was definitely our top choice for hotpot meat. Grill (4/5) The grill meats were all unseasoned and we added a bit of salt and pepper before grilling to enhance the flavor. The pork jowl was definitely good here and our top beef choice was the sliced beef chuck short rib.

But they lose 3 stars from me because they use some kind of industrial strength cleaning chemical to wipe down the tables. Hard to enjoy your meal when all you can smell is the same chemical they use to mop the floors at QFC. If they are using a spray bottle to clean at the next table, you'll get a cloud of harsh cleaning chemical up your nostrils while you eat. I've had to rinse off and wiped down my own table with a napkin dampened with tea or water in order to enjoy my meal. When I mentioned this to staff, they were dismissive and haven't changed a thing in over a year when I first brought it to their attention. They should only be using something like quat sanitizer, that doesn't smell, to clean the tables. NOT something that is used for floors or bathrooms. and on a side note: if you decide to mop underneath another table while people are dining next to it, please say "excuse me" or just wait. Instead of almost hitting people in the head with a mop handle without saying a word. Also not great for a dining experience. I have worked in restaurants and F&B management. I know something about these things. You shouldn't use anything on a table for diners that you wouldn't use on a food preparation surface. How many times has a dumpling got away from you and bounced around on the table and you snag it and consume it, because you assume the table isn't being cleaned with floor cleaner? If you agree with me, please say something to the staff, and maybe they'll eventually listen. This is a real shame. The food quality is quite good. I might just do take-out from now on. There are other high quality Chinese and Asian dining options, that's the bright side of living in this area.
