Sushi!!!
Andrew Y.

Generally a good experience for eating. Service was a bit slow for water refills. Good variety of foods...but sushi was not the highest quality (salmon was still a bit frozen). Pork ribs were super tender (prime rib roast too)...preferred over beef ribs. Frog legs were nice and tender...and pig feet was nicely stewed. Green beans had good garlic flavor. Dinner priced at about $30/per person. If you buy a gift card before the day you actually dine...you can get a $20 bonus on a $100 gift card. Good experience!

Service is actually really quick at clearing your table. Food is decent, not the best and not worth the money if you ask me. I think it's really cool that they offer such a large variety. I think the best thing they offered was the sausage at the cutting station. Sushi is ok I wish there was less variety and higher quality The pork belly skin is so hard it's unchewable for me

I was excited, but it took a bit from each item to know that this only looks like food and that it's not actually edible

My little one wanted to go to a buffet for her birthday and tell me why I accidentally came to this one instead of the one I had in mind: Feast Buffet. Anyway, $36 per person and you get a variety of bad food. By bad I mean tasteless, soggy, been sitting out forever because trust me when I say this place is not busy at all. So items will look like it has flavor, but it's just oily. Idk how they creat the illusion but let me give you an example: I grabbed the Asian cucumber salad that appeared to have some spiciness to it, and no flippin flavor. Orange chicken: soggy and gooey af. Chow mein: oily and no flavor. Seriously, even the garlic bread was soggy. Idk how they manage to not make a single tasty food. I feel so bad for my little one because she was so excited but I'll have to make it up to her so that she doesn't think this establishment is the standard.

It's pretty pricey cause for a 2 year old its $7.99. Drinks are also not included in the price It's has a dimmer lighting inside. We went on a Saturday at 6:30pm but it was still pretty quiet, resulting in dry, "left over" food Around 7-7:30 more people came in and fresh food came out. If there were more customers, the food is actually really tasty... but when not enough people the food gets left out and gets dried out The sushi and sashimi was cold and kept cold. Some buffet the sashimi is warm/ turned bad, but it wasn't the case here. It's a lot smaller here than I remembered, especially compared to Feast... it's dark and small here. Don't eat the desserts that's sitting out cause they are fried and hard The fruits were yummy though! Especially the papaya!! MIZUKI is basically the same price as FEAST in Renton,. But Renton provides a much brighter and bigger environment. A lot more gimmicks like cotton candy, shaved ice and chocolate fondue. feast also includes drinks in their admission price MIZUKI had a fondue but it wasn't running. For the same price, I would say you definitely would get a LOT more from Feast. But the sushi/ sashimi is much better at Mizuki

Lukewarm food, rarely replenished. Nothing very good. If you are looking for AYCE go to Feast in Renton.

Do they offer free buffet for bday celebrant?!?

No $28.99 for birthday person (read website for discount details)

Does anyone know if Mizuki buffet is open for dine in?

Sadly, they remain closed. Or the web site is wrong. It is difficult for a buffet restaurant to stay open on a delivery basis...

Is poke salad served during weekday lunches?

They did not the days I was there. But their menu may change when they re-open

Do they have any promo or deals for someone having their birthday there?

No, I've never been able to find any promo or deals for anything! This establishment is all about taking as much of the customers money as possible (no joke)

How much is it per person?

LUNCH BUFFET. Lunch Buffet $16.99. Senior Buffet$15.39. Dinner Buffet. Dinner Buffet $25.99. Senior Buffet $23.49.… Read more

Are there raw scallops and oysters for weekday dinner?

I've never seen them have raw oysters or scallops. Only salmon and Tuna Sashimi.

Do they have prime rib, lobster, shrimp on week days for dinner or lunch?

I was trying to get my fill at a weekday lunch on mainly seafood/sushi/Asian food but did see a very tasty looking beef roast being carved and couldn't tell what cut it was but probably not prime rib. Shrimp was served at least couple different… Read more

Do they have lobsters and Dungeness Crab legs on weekday nights eg Thursday nights? What about Friday nights?

No only weekends apparently, it was like that when i went

Do they have a lobster all day and every day?

No, only weekend

Do they have crawfish for lunch?

I think it is on the dinner selection and price

Price Point - There are several meat options served here that are very expensive but we tried it all. My personal favorites were the Spicy Pork Cutlet, the Salmon and Rice Bowl, and the wagyu sirloin skewers. Being from Missouri I knew that the prices would be a bit more than what I was used to but it really wasn't that significant. For 4 people who ordered a little bit of everything, we spent 140$ That's three appetizers, 2 sides, and 5 main dishes. For special occasions, celebrations, corporate dinners, this place seems like a great option. Now, in regard to the portion sizes. Pretty simple explanation, they do feel a bit small. Lastly, do they have options for children? I would say no but that depends on what kind of food your kids eat Hahha. This is more of an adult restaurant not particular organized for kids meals. Overall, I definitely recommend everyone check this place out. The food is so fresh and flavorful. We lived the experience and would definitely come back if we find ourselves in town again.

Started off strong with the uni shot, which was really good, and the sashimi fresh, clean, and exactly what you want from a sushi spot. We also ordered the mushroom and pumpkin salad with spinach, which tasted great, but at $20, it felt a bit overpriced for what it was. The rolls, unfortunately, didn't live up to how they looked. Presentation was definitely there, but the flavor just didn't hit. On top of that, they were falling apart pretty easily when picked up with chopsticks, which made them a little frustrating to eat. Service was solid overall staff was attentive despite how busy it was but they did miss our hamachi kama, which was a bit of a letdown. A couple things to note: this place is cash only, and it gets very busy, so expect a bit of a wait. That said, the vibe is nice, and the design of the space is something I actually liked. Would I come back? Probably for sashimi and appetizers but I might skip the rolls next time.

Speaking of pork belly they were too chewy we cooked it for long enough and it was still very chewy. Service was trash. The lady that was our server poured all the meat on our fryer so half of the meat was stacked on top of each other so it took longer to cooked. We're already on a 90 minute time crunch. If my step dad wasn't pestering the lady for a next round they wouldn't have checked on us and we would've been waiting for 30 minutes. While we were waiting for the second round the lady told us to turn off our heater when we're not using it, the man later came and turned it back on and told us to keep it at level 400-500. The next time we got the food she tried to put all the meat on the fryer again my step dad said "It's okay we got it, thank you" she looked at us like we didn't know what we were doing. Later on she looked at how we put everything on the fryer she looked and laughed at us TWICE.

But for those in the know, Triumph Valley is really known for their dim sum menu! Off the beaten path, you have to take State Highway 167, as its just south of the large IKEA store. But definitely a culinary landmark if you are a constant diner of Chinese cuisine, and dim sum afficianado. There are only three dim sum, or dumpling lunch providers in or around the City of Renton (technically two). This is one of them, and if you are not early, it can get really crowded, especially on weekends. But the staff bravely soldiers-on with their dilligent service. The restaurant's ambiance takes advantage of its interior with strategic lighting in their dining hall. Very utilitarian, while trying to ensure a little bit of style. They also modernize the experience with electronic waiting and ordering system on portable touch screens. It actually helps the service. No paper. As for me, my focus is on the dim sum. All of my favorites are there. And, as diner of one, it was hard not to want to order everything. So, I ordered the "basics" of a dim sum lunch. One order of Shiu Mai, one order of Har Gow, and one order steamed BBQ Pork. It was pretty much all you need along with an order of tea, as well as a Diet Coke to wash it all down. There were other traditional dim sum selections, but I knew my tummy (and wallet) wouldn't absorb it all - as much as I would have liked. Steamed beancurd sheets, beef meatballs, steamed sticky rice in banana leaves... chicken feet, it was all there. The best way is to make a plan, and invite lots of freinds to make sure you can try EVERYTHING! Yes, there are other menu items, like I said, but for Dim Sum dining in Renton, this is the place!!!!
