Great place to get a quick casual sushi meal. Their eel here is pretty good, good portion sizes and great flavors for the price. I highly recommend and would come back.

Sushi is fresh and displayed very nicely when I ordered small daruma platter of assorted sushi. I got takeout but the seating is really small but I like the convenience that it is in 99 ranch market. Staff was very hospitable and gave me chocolates and cookie with my takeout

Just tried it tonight. It's inside the Wall mall, and it's a very tight squeeze. We never got napkins and another table had to ask for them as well. Water was lukewarm and we ran out for a bit before we got refills. However! The staff was very nice, and the sushi was very tasty. We weren't able to try other fish due to them running out after an event. Prices were fair for the quality and size.

Salmon Taco (closest in the picture) Tempura Taco (further away in the picture) Both extremely delicious and definitely recommend trying.

My husband and I went on a Thursday afternoon and it was quiet, peaceful and not crowded at all. We ordered a total of 6 things, and each one was very delicious. There were two servers, both extremely kind and sweet, and the food came out in a timely manner. However, one negative thing is that upon paying, they charged us a 10% service fee. I've expected that before from a party of 5+ at a restaurant but it was just the two of us. Neither one of the servers mentioned in advance there would be a service fee so I was a little disappointed to see that added on. Especially because we hadn't asked for anything special, unique, etc. it was just normal service.

Tonight's rolls. Second time here so it's time to start hunting down our favorites! Marigold: Not my cup of tea. Ithad cream cheese instead of cucumber that was stated on the menu. If you like smoked salmon and cream cheese this roll will be great for you. Red Spider: Delicious. And the Wasabi peas were a great add for texture. Top 3 Red Mango: Perfect. Bloody Orange: Surprisingly spicy but so clean and fresh tasting. Fantastic! Super Dragon Exactly as described. Thick delicious grilled Eel. Simple. The Great Wall: Creamy and spicy and sweet all at once. Top 3. The Daruma: I love this. You might not. Easily in my top 3 of all time. Mount Baker: Creamy and stacked high with real crab. Midori: Crisp and clean. Basic but perfect Awesome Poke: Perfect Tataki Both were a tad bit overseared but the flavor was good. Service: It's one tiny lady behind the counter. We ordered like 12 items. She did her absolute best. Thankfully we were the only group here when we ordered so she really got to focus on our food! 4 Stars

Fresh sushi in Kent, WA! I ordered from Renton, and the sushi arrived FRESH! The seafood was succulent, the vegetables crisp, and even the rice had the perfect texture. The customer service was excellent--the staff was friendly and professional. Their restaurant is also clean and well-maintained. They also have a variety of Daruma dolls displayed on the walls, adding to the ambiance. The entire store is styled with attention to detail, creating a clean and cozy atmosphere where you can dine alone or with your loved ones.

The service was really nice and the waitress was kind. The prices are good. This is what gets them the 2 stars. We ordered a variety of rolls - rainbow roll, Seattle roll, teka maki, and deluxe California roll. They all tasted very bland and the same. The fish didn't taste fresh and was sort of mushy and bland. We were pretty disappointed since they have such raving reviews. Probably will not return here.

Plenty of parking within the Great Wall Mall lot, solid food for the price, and solid service. The space is a bit small with the table arrangements seating a maximum of 4 people in a group (anything bigger, and the horizontal space is not enough to line the tables), but my party of 2 was the only one present at 6PM on a Monday. There was one staff member managing everything from delivery orders, dining in, to cashier. This worked out at the time we were there, but I hope that in busier times this business has more than one person present.

The place is very small which makes sense since he only serve 1 group at a time. We sat at the bar table but it was blocked by a counter so we couldn't see anything and he didn't talk and we had to wait around 15 minutes for our first dish. Foodwise: 10 piece nigiri --- love the different fishes that was available and all of them has their own distinct texture and flavor. My husband who loves nigiri said it was a fun experience. Scallop inari - scallop was cream and soft and smooth, I think the sweetness was a little overpowering though. Seabass crudo --- for how little there was of the fish itself, there was a lot of olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. After finishing the fish, I was hoping to have some bread to eat more of the oil. Special maguro don--- I love this dish - the fish melts in your mouth, the rice went well with the fish and the wasabi was delicious. Price was also very reasonable for the quality of fish. Overall, it was a good experience, I definitely would recommend

For the sushi, the tropical roll had a nice addition of mango, but the sweet chili sauce was a little too sweet for my preference, especially for a sushi roll. The Pacific Garden roll had fresh-tasting yellowtail, salmon, and tuna, and I enjoyed the crunch from the asparagus. However, one of my pet peeves is when menus list crab or crab salad in a roll, but it ends up being imitation crab/krab. I really wish restaurants were more straightforward about what they're using, especially because I enjoy real crab, but am not a big fan of imitation crab in sushi rolls. This restaurant used the words crab salad and I thought it meant that they still used real crab in it. The rainbow roll and edamame were just alright. The gyoza was also disappointing because it wasn't crispy and didn't have much flavor. Presentation was another thing that fell a little short for me. I wasn't impressed with the plating, especially with the random pieces of greens on the plate. Overall, the sushi and sashimi had some fresh components(the highlight), but there were a few things that missed the mark for me. Service was just okay and nothing particularly stood out.

Besides, family was coming in at SeaTac and we recently moved back to the Renton/Kent/Tukwila area so with the use of GPS, they'd be able to find the restaurant. We met together at the same time. The restaurant has changed considerably. Previously the menu included Korean dishes, but with new management, Korean fare was removed from the menu, much to our surprise. The Kalbi/Bulgogi was excellent and we would order a Bento-style box meal which included the Korean specialties. Though somewhat disappointed, the new menu provided so many new sushi choices, we were distracted from the missing preparations. The Sushi/Sashimi platter was our first order, to give us more time to peruse the great looking menu. Our initial order arrived which appeared so enticing with the fresh (raw) portions of buttery salmon, tuna, Ahi, Nigiri and a California Roll. Excellent! Then came the Sweet Dreams & Sounder rolls and Ikura (2-pieces) and a Special Agent roll. Least I forget to mention Asahi bottled beer (regular & non-alcoholic) to round off the meal. Due to not having the Korean ingredients, only four stars this time. The ambiance of the restaurant seems to have changed over the years. There were perhaps 10-12 other diners whereas during our previous visits the restaurant would be crowded and bustling with a cacophony of voices discussing menu choices. It was 5:00PM on a Saturday evening and crowds were usually expected. Service was excellent, the waiter was patient and provided lots of information about the new ownership & menu. The sashimi was fresh & tasty and sushi rolls were expertly prepared. Sushi Today continues to be highly recommended if you're in the Renton area.

However, we saw that this place opens on Sundays (they had several banners saying that they were open on Sundays too) after the original place we wanted to check out had a sudden kitchen maintenance. This restaurant is a lot bigger than other teriyaki restaurants with booth and chair seats, plenty of big or small tables, two TVs playing different sports, and it was the temperature was perfect. They have a big menu so it's easy to see the prices and their offerings, which consists of teriyaki, soups, Chinese food, sushi and bubble tea. Their prices are very reasonable and the upcharge on fried rice is the lowest I've seen but I think there's a reason for that (it's pretty bland). The cashier lady was efficient at her job but definitely could be friendlier and I wish she wasn't super snappy, there was no real rush and we were maybe their fourth order during that time. We opted to dine in and took our seat waiting for food. They have offer fountain drinks and bottled drinks, as well as water cups. We got our utensils and sauce cups first then our food arrived not too long afterwards. My boyfriend got their chicken teriyaki and chicken katsu combo with fried rice while I got their chicken teriyaki and California roll combo. I love that they have steamed veggies as I like to enjoy any remaining teriyaki sauce with them. The California rolls were decent, not the best but not the worst either. The teriyaki sauce is pretty good, it is a great mix of sweet and savory. They are also very generous with rice as there was a bed of under my teriyaki and two scoops. My boyfriend enjoyed the katsu and the sauce that came with it was very delicious! The only issue we had was that the fried rice had no seasoning or color, I almost thought it was white rice with some veggies at first. Other than that, a solid teriyaki joint that seemed to have a good amount of people coming in to pick up orders for the most part.

Their menu consists of teriyaki, Chinese food, sushi, bento boxes, fried rice, yakisoba and many others. They also have a special sushi menu located behind the counter, and one particular kind caught my friend's eye. Servers were patient with us and would come by once in a while to refill our water cups. Now for the food: - We each got our own bento box. For mines, i got their box with hot crispy chicken, spicy tuna rolls and four pieces of gyoza. The hot crispy chicken is already filling on its own, and they don't skimp on the spices. It was really crispy, sometimes to the point of scratching the inside of my mouth. Spicy tuna rolls were standard but also hit the spot, with the mayo sauce and even the tuna being spicy. The gyozas were also standard but were cooked well. Portions here are huge, and I almost asked for a to-go box for my remaining chicken. They didn't provide me with a side of salad as they advertise on their menu, though. It only came with my other friend's bento with chicken teriyaki, California roll and four pieces of gyoza. He did enjoy the teriyaki here, though. - My friend got a Diablo roll, which has a similar mayo sauce on it but is covered on the outside by a layer of Flaming Hot Cheetos. This was even spicier than the spicy tuna rolls which was actually even better. It gets really filling because of all the filling and sauces above it, and carries a familiar crunch with the Hot Cheetos covering.
