Let me just say that this has been one of my favorite places for the past few years. The service here has always been above and beyond. That's why this next part is insane to say... but these guys managed to blow past my expectations and made me call this my favorite food spot in all of Kent. Friday the 13th we got hit with a sudden snow drop after a recent strong storm just a few days prior. Power in the area was already pretty touch and go, and my wife and I had come in late from work and decided to eat out. I'd say we placed the order around 40 minutes before their usual closing time, so I knew I was pushing it. Shortly after placing the order, I get a call from the restaurant. I fully expected them to tell me they were closing early and were going to cancel my order. To my surprise, they actually were willing to make the order but just asked that I get there before 8:30 p.m. Easy, it was 8:13, and I lived 7 minutes away. Get there with plenty of time. When I arrive, I tip the staff and graciously thank them for taking my last-minute order. After waiting for a bit, Steve, the owner, tells me that they messed up on one of the items on my order and would need to remake it, but they would provide me with the mistake at no cost. Next, he let me know that he provided me with free wontons, just because. The food, as always, was amazing, even the "mistake" meal, which allowed me to explore the menu a bit more. My boyfriend was craving teriyaki on a Sunday which as many of you know that teriyaki places are usually closed on Sundays. However, we saw that this place opens on Sundays (they had several banners saying that they were open on Sundays too) after the original place we wanted to check out had a sudden kitchen maintenance. This restaurant is a lot bigger than other teriyaki restaurants with booth and chair seats, plenty of big or small tables, two TVs playing different sports, and it was the temperature was perfect. They have a big menu so it's easy to see the prices and their offerings, which consists of teriyaki, soups, Chinese food, sushi and bubble tea. Their prices are very reasonable and the upcharge on fried rice is the lowest I've seen but I think there's a reason for that (it's pretty bland). The cashier lady was efficient at her job but definitely could be friendlier and I wish she wasn't super snappy, there was no real rush and we were maybe their fourth order during that time. We opted to dine in and took our seat waiting for food. They have offer fountain drinks and bottled drinks, as well as water cups. We got our utensils and sauce cups first then our food arrived not too long afterwards. My boyfriend got their chicken teriyaki and chicken katsu combo with fried rice while I got their chicken teriyaki and California roll combo. I love that they have steamed veggies as I like to enjoy any remaining teriyaki sauce with them. The California rolls were decent, not the best but not the worst either. The teriyaki sauce is pretty good, it is a great mix of sweet and savory. They are also very generous with rice as there was a bed of under my teriyaki and two scoops. My boyfriend enjoyed the katsu and the sauce that came with it was very delicious! The only issue we had was that the fried rice had no seasoning or color, I almost thought it was white rice with some veggies at first. I love this place so much and it doesn't hurt they are right near where I live. It's family owned and also so friendly and nice whenever I pick up my food. Even when the Clover App sometimes gives me trouble I never take it out on them because it's not their fault so I just use it as an excuse to bug them and order in person. They have such a great variety of food. Sometimes I get sushi other times I grab their fried rice but anything I've tried is delicious. If you're friendly, as you should be when people are preparing your food, they'll take good care of you. I love their food but honestly I go there for the conversation. So if you're in Kent, I highly recommend giving them a try I promise you won't be disappointed. read more

Asian Table is a great spot for fast quality teriyaki, bento box combos, and Raman soups. Their sushi is surprisingly good for casual Asian fast food. I've ordered sushi rolls several times here and have always been pleasantly surprised. Their tuna roll has always come with generous amounts of fresh red tuna that you can actually taste unlike other restaurants that barely include enough to see. This place is certainly not a date night restaurant but is one that I would not hesitate to recommend for good fast teriyaki, Raman, or sushi. We've eaten here a few times but I don't know why I haven't written a review for them until now! We've ordered a variety of dishes every time we go, but the one item that became our favorite is the Honey Garlic Chicken. Their chicken yakisoba, sushi, and teriyaki are also good! I can't complain about the service. During our last visit, we got to chat with the owner and he was so cool and friendly! The place is pretty casual but it's clean and cozy. I can't believe I haven't written a review about this wonderfully delicious restaurant. I ordered General Tao's with fried rice for my boyfriend, and I ordered the Chicken & Honey Garlic teriyaki wok combo. My goodness, do they give you A LOT of food! Can feed you for three meals, that's how much they give you. I always order ahead and pick it up. The food is always piping hot and ready when promised. All of it is so yummy, not too salty, the chicken is juicy, and perfectly crispy. The staff is super friendly and the dining area has plenty of seating and there are a few TV's too if you are dining alone. I'm sad I moved away a few years ago and didn't try them out when they first opened. However, I am more than willing to drive down from West Seattle to get food here. Very tasty Asian cuisine spot in Kent! They have a wide variety of Asian dishes on their menu - Korean, Chinese, and Japanese. My friends brought me here and we ordered a little bit of everything! The korean spicy pork, the galbi (korean marinated short ribs), teriyaki chicken, gyoza, chicken katsu, and a sushi roll (i can't remember the which roll but i think it had an animal name like caterpillar or dragon). Everything was very very very tasty. My favorite was the chicken katsu and the galbi. They even gave us some kimchi to eat with our dinner. The family who owns Asian Table are very lovely people. The restaurant is also really spacious and clean. Definitely a solid restaurant and highly recommend it when you are down in the Kent area!! read more

I came back to this place after doing Uber eat as a part time job. The foods smell good or maybe I was hungry back then. I read a few reviews how good they are. I ordered garlic chicken and I didn't know they use the same chicken as Teriyaki chicken except they cut into small pieces. The texture n tastes are well off from the authentic Chinese foods or Chinese fast foods. The carrots are big chunks like diced pineapple and they are not cooked properly. I was in the local area for business and read all the wonderful reviews at this location, so I decided to try it. I ordered the combo Teriyaki and General Tso's for $16.59. The meal came with rice, and I also ordered an egg roll that came in a pack of two for $6.50. This was so much food I was able to eat on it for two dinners and tasted great though a little sugary. I love the attention to detail when they packed my to-go order they cut the corner of it to let steam out so it wouldn't make my crispy chicken soggy. The only feedback I can give is that I wish the General Tso's chicken had some spice. They give you an ample portion, but it was sweet, and I wish there was an option to make it spicy. Please don't misunderstand me, the General Tso's was delicious, I just wish there was an option to make it spicy as I enjoy heat. The teriyaki chicken was fantastic. It was tender, well seasoned, and beautifully displayed and again sweet. When I came into order, I had an opportunity to look around while I was waiting. This restaurant is so cute, clean, and nicely decorated. All the meals I saw coming out had generous portions, and everybody looked happy. Overall, I like this place a lot. I've tried the rainbow roll, crab rangoon, honey garlic chicken, and the gyoza. The gyoza and honey garlic chicken were great! I've had the gyoza twice now, freshly made, very crispy, no complaints. Same for the honey garlic chicken and the portion was very generous. Crab rangoon and the sushi was OK but I've had better and won't come here for that. Look forward to trying other wok type dishes. read more

My friends slowed down their eating because they were already halfway done when my food finally arrived. I got the spicy pork bulgolgi and it was overwhelming hot, the pork was really fatty (I didn't eat most of it) and it was swimming in sauce, not what I was expecting. There was a nice char on the meat and there was some vegetables sit fried in, though the menu said it came with steamed veggies. I was at a friends house in Kent when I found Asian Table on Yelp. I saw that they had just opened up and had 5-star reviews so I knew I had to try it, especially because there are a limited number of solid teriyaki style restaurants in the area. We ordered take-out twice since and I've not yet been disappointed. Good quality teriyaki and their rolls tasted freshly prepared. It's honestly the best option in Kent, and I prefer their rolls over Musashi, hands down. I really enjoy the spicy chicken, and the chicken katsu has a good bite. The problem I run into often with chicken katsu at other restaurants is that they pound out the chicken really thinly, and so by the time it's fried and you pick up your order, it'd basically 80% fried batter and 20% (maybe 10%) chicken. I also like the fact that they give you steamed veggies. Anyone who has ordered teriyaki knows that by the time you get home, the salad is wilted bc of the steam from the food. Although, I do wish there was a salad option. It'd be nice to have the crunch and freshness of a salad when majority of the meal is already hot. Oh, and a note about the beef teriyaki -- it's very saucy. Personally, I'd opt to have the sauce on the side but I also know a lot of people who love and drench their food in sauce. I don't understand the glowing reviews for Asian Table. Maybe these customers were eating at a different restaurant with a similar name or they don't know what good Asian food is because I was disappointed. The place is nice and clean but I should have turned around when I walked in and was hit with that sickening smell of sweet and sour. I ordered the Mongolian Beef, which is usually on the spicy side. There was no spice at all. What I got was beef that was like shoe leather that had been fried in nothing but soy sauce until the soy sauce was caramelized just short of becoming burnt. The onions in the dish were not edible because it was drowning in almost burnt soy sauce. The quality of the food was not worth the $20. read more

Ordered their chicken teriyaki and a dragon roll. Food came out super fast. The teriyaki was good and saucy. The only thing that was surprising was the cooked cabbage. I liked it but some may not because it was very cooked down and a lot different from the typical fresh salad. I prefer mac salad when it's an option. The dragon was solid.
