    Chicken Teriyaki

The best teriyaki restaurant by far. I change what I order often and it's always on point. My favorites are the Katsu plate with a generous amount of rice with the perfect Katsu sauce and salad ( with the best dressing ever) and of course, the teriyaki chicken. Plenty of seating, very clean, and very welcoming.

    Chicken Katsu Curry

The food was probably the worst teriyaki I've had in Washington. I got the chicken katsu curry and the curry was basically water. Absolutely no flavor and thin like a soup. We waited almost 40 mins for take out. The guy working the counter was nice. That's about the only nice thing I can say.

Teriyaki/ katsu combo. Lots of good food!

Stopped into Kim's this past week for lunch. As everyone knows there are lots of options for teriyaki in the Seattle area. Kim's has a good overall rating for a reason. The place is clean and the staff is pleasant and professional. I ordered a chicken teriyaki/ katsu combination. It was a good value, lots of food. The salad was fresh and tasty, teriyaki was cooked just right, tender yet cooked completely. The katsu was crispy on the outside, yet tender on the inside. I'll definitely be back to try other menu items!

My coworker picked up lunch and I really enjoyed the chicken with sesame combo. Cant comment on anything but the taste since I didn't pick it up myself but we are all happy with our meals.

You do have to put a $40/person deposit but it gets refunded once you pay for your meal. There is street parking available. The place is very small which makes sense since he only serve 1 group at a time. This might be my personal opinion but Because it's only one group, I hoped it would have been a little more interactive, like the chef could have explained his technique and skills while we were waiting or at least let us see what he was doing. We sat at the bar table but it was blocked by a counter so we couldn't see anything and he didn't talk and we had to wait around 15 minutes for our first dish. Foodwise: 10 piece nigiri --- love the different fishes that was available and all of them has their own distinct texture and flavor. My husband who loves nigiri said it was a fun experience. Scallop inari - scallop was cream and soft and smooth, I think the sweetness was a little overpowering though. Seabass crudo --- for how little there was of the fish itself, there was a lot of olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. After finishing the fish, I was hoping to have some bread to eat more of the oil. Special maguro don--- I love this dish - the fish melts in your mouth, the rice went well with the fish and the wasabi was delicious. Price was also very reasonable for the quality of fish. Overall, it was a good experience, I definitely would recommend

We had the opportunity to go back and get takeout today and everything was so good!! The staff/owners(?) were very very nice, and welcoming. What we got, but didn't take pictures because we devoured the sushi: California Roll, tuna nigiri, Philly roll, killer salmon roll, and the Las Vegas roll. All super good. We tried again a week or so later as my work is close by and we wanted something quick and affordable as we had a comedy show to go to afterwards. As we entered, we were the only ones and we were greeted warmly by the sushi chef and our waitress. Our waitress told us to pick any table we'd like and she brought us menus. Once we had ample time to glance over the menu which honestly had the right amount of items, I got the udon and shrimp tempura while my boyfriend got their Philadelphia roll and chicken katsu. Our waitress asked if we were fine with water and I didn't see a drink section on the menu but they do offer fountain drinks, canned drinks and hot tea. The inside is small but it's cozy and initmate. They have K-pop playing in the background with the music video. There is a good mix of natural lighting from the sun and inside. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. We received our roll and shrimp tempura first, udon next and finally the chicken katsu. The katsu sauce here is one of the best katsu sauce we've ever had as it had a perfect balance of tangy, sweet and savory flavors. There was a lot of katsu and my boyfriend said the only complaint was he wished there was a bit more rice as the ratio was off. I loved my udon, they give a generous portion of fish cakes, fish balls and a piece of shrimp tempura as well as plenty of tempura flakes. I do wish there was a bit more noodles but that was my only real complaint. The shrimp tempura was good but I do wish there was a bit more sauce. My boyfriend's roll was delicious and fresh! Their hot green tea was also comforting and delightful! The service here is pleasant as our waitress was kind and checked in on us often. She was also courteous and professional with other customers. We look forward to coming back whenever we're hungry for good and affordable sushi and Korean food.

Started off strong with the uni shot, which was really good, and the sashimi fresh, clean, and exactly what you want from a sushi spot. We also ordered the mushroom and pumpkin salad with spinach, which tasted great, but at $20, it felt a bit overpriced for what it was. The rolls, unfortunately, didn't live up to how they looked. Presentation was definitely there, but the flavor just didn't hit. On top of that, they were falling apart pretty easily when picked up with chopsticks, which made them a little frustrating to eat. Service was solid overall staff was attentive despite how busy it was but they did miss our hamachi kama, which was a bit of a letdown. A couple things to note: this place is cash only, and it gets very busy, so expect a bit of a wait. That said, the vibe is nice, and the design of the space is something I actually liked. Would I come back? Probably for sashimi and appetizers but I might skip the rolls next time.
