We ordered the Tonkotsu Miso Ramen, Spicy Negi Ramen (level 4 hot), an order of Gyoza, and an appetizer order of Karaage Chicken. Both of our Ramen bowls were absolutely delicious!! I'm used to eating very authentic Ramen when I lived in San Diego so this was a first for being in this area. It was a great portion size, beautiful presentation and everything tasted so good. I think the egg could've been cooked a little bit less so it would be not so well done so to speak, but it was delicious still. Also, the chicken appetizer was a good, but not as flavorful as some Karaage Chicken I have had. I probably wouldn't order that one again even though it was good, just lacked flavor and was a bit grisly. The service was outstanding. They are very kind and very attentive. The place is very clean. The bathrooms are nicely stocked and very clean as well. The lobby is beautiful and we will definitely be back!

The ramen tasted great but not impressive or memorable enough for me to drive all the way back to Federal Way. I dined in solo and actually didn't finish the ramen or even remember exactly what I ordered. I'm guessing it's the spicy negi. The broth was spicy and enjoyable but definitely didn't taste any different compared to other ramen places I've been to. I tend to eat slow to savor my food, but I felt like the staff was overattentive and frequently stopped by my table to ask if everything was okay. Gave me the vibe that they needed to keep themselves busy or I was taking up a table. Might be great for other customers but it affected my experience with dining in; I usually finish my meals at restaurants but I felt rushed so I just ended up bringing the ramen home for my son, after the second or third time of them asking me if I wanted a takeout box. I'm still giving 4 stars just because the ramen tasted better than mediocre, less than spectacular. I just have high expectations for ramen and prefer more broth/topping variety (I was raised in Cali with options i dearly miss). Plus, I do like that they added a full egg for the ramen (instead of half an egg, like other restaurants I've been to) and the chasu portions were fair. I haven't tried any other ramen places in Federal Way (if there are any), but I guess if this is one of the better options (according to Yelp), it might be worth a shot to try out?

My boyfriend and I were done with an event and were looking for a bite to eat pretty late-ish and we saw this place was still open. We got there around an hour before close. When we arrived, it took a little bit to get noticed and the waiter wasn't really the most friendly and was telling us we should order fast as the kitchen was doing a last call. He didn't even tell us how long we had so we just put our order in. We got the two yakitori trio combo (happy hour), takoyaki, scallop taco, beef udon, udon, and iced white peach green tea. We were getting our order fast but it was like one by one which was a bit disorientating. The food was pretty tasty. The iced tea was refreshing and definitely got good flavor. The tofu being cold in the udon was a bit off-putting as well. The yakitori, takoyaki and scallop tacos were absolutely delicious. My boyfriend loved the beef in his beef udon and looks forward to ordering their gyudon. I want to order the oyakodon for sure next time. Hopefully the service and experience will be better next time. Our waiter didn't really check in too much with us but he did refill our water once. The inside is gorgeous and definitely has date night vibes. It is dim-lit but enough lighting to get some pictures. They have tables with different types of seating available for party sizes. They have sauces and spices to put on your yakitori that pair very well.

My husband said yes because that was genuinely his experience, but I personally did not feel the same way and wasn't happy with the service or overall experience. To make matters worse, within about 15 minutes of leaving the restaurant, I became extremely sick with symptoms that felt like food poisoning. I obviously can't say with certainty what caused it, but the timing was very concerning and made an already disappointing experience much worse. For the amount of money we spent, I expected much better service, attentiveness, and overall quality. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not return.

We sat at the bar table but it was blocked by a counter so we couldn't see anything and he didn't talk and we had to wait around 15 minutes for our first dish. Foodwise: 10 piece nigiri --- love the different fishes that was available and all of them has their own distinct texture and flavor. My husband who loves nigiri said it was a fun experience. Scallop inari - scallop was cream and soft and smooth, I think the sweetness was a little overpowering though. Seabass crudo --- for how little there was of the fish itself, there was a lot of olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. After finishing the fish, I was hoping to have some bread to eat more of the oil. Special maguro don--- I love this dish - the fish melts in your mouth, the rice went well with the fish and the wasabi was delicious. Price was also very reasonable for the quality of fish. Overall, it was a good experience, I definitely would recommend
