Unfortunately I think she misunderstood my order. I ended up getting the chicken teriyaki with sweet & sour instead. It's was delicious! I'm so glad I got something different than my usual. Thanks!!!

Close up of the Chicken Teriyaki because you have to see how bomb it is!

More like a 3.5/5 stars now that they're under new ownership. (Note: photos are from when it was owner by the previous owner) We noticed a few changes that were disappointing since this place was sold: - the chicken is less charred and has less teriyaki sauce - we also noticed a lot more tendon in our chicken - they now put teriyaki sauce under the two scoops of rice - the salad dressing is much thicker, making it harder to distribute on the salad Overall, we're a little bummed the preparation has changed. Hoping they get into a groove after some growing pains. Still good teriyaki, though!

    Dinner Special (chicken teriyaki)

Amazing value! I got a huge dinner (a salad, 3 shrimp tempura, 4 gyoza, a giant portion of teriyaki chicken, and 2 big scoops of rice) for under $20!! And the service was amazing!! I wish I lived in the area or I'd be coming back here for easy weeknight dinners often. Hit this place up! It's a hole in the wall and a great lil find.

I love this teriyaki store. Their portion is great and priced well. The quality of the meat is by far the best in town. Highly recommend to anyone HUNGRY. The restaurant is very clean. The staff are very friendly.

This place was busy on Friday night when we tried to make our order by phone. They didn't answer and we were already on our way there so we just ordered when we got there! Hubby and I both ordered the short ribs and egg rolls. The short ribs had lots of flavor and very little fat or gristle on them so the only thing that was left was the little bones. The rice....I mean you really can't mess that up! Lol. The salad...LOVE the dressing Egg roll was very good too! I just wish there was some sweet and sour sauce that came with it as it would make it that much better IMO! I think we had to wait about 15-20 minutes for our food which was enough time to go to McDonald's for their $1 sweet tea! . Nope, didn't feel guilty about doin that as we spent over $$60 and hubby gave a $15 tip to this small business. Then spent $4.40 for 4 soft drinks! Place looked clean, only 3 people allowed in restaurant at a time and no indoor seating at this point when we were there last week! They also have a frequent guest card where you buy 10 meals and get ?? Off or free which is great if you go there often! We will be back!

Konich's Teriyaki has pretty good food. I ordered the: ~Short Ribs, it came with 2 scoops of rice and was pretty good. Although, the meat was a bit dry and not that flavorful. Score: 7.5/10. ~Chicken Teriyaki, it also came with 2 scoops of rice and was good. The chicken was was more flavorful and had lots of sauce. Score: 8/10. Service is fine (took about 20ish mins for to-go order, but there was a lot of orders), and the inside of the place is kinda clean. Would recommend.

One chicken teriyaki. When chicken and beef two fresh green salads included.

This is our take out "go-to." We love the chicken teriyaki and Katsu. Always have leftovers for another dinner.

The place is very small which makes sense since he only serve 1 group at a time. This might be my personal opinion but Because it's only one group, I hoped it would have been a little more interactive, like the chef could have explained his technique and skills while we were waiting or at least let us see what he was doing. We sat at the bar table but it was blocked by a counter so we couldn't see anything and he didn't talk and we had to wait around 15 minutes for our first dish. Foodwise: 10 piece nigiri --- love the different fishes that was available and all of them has their own distinct texture and flavor. My husband who loves nigiri said it was a fun experience. Scallop inari - scallop was cream and soft and smooth, I think the sweetness was a little overpowering though. Seabass crudo --- for how little there was of the fish itself, there was a lot of olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. After finishing the fish, I was hoping to have some bread to eat more of the oil. Special maguro don--- I love this dish - the fish melts in your mouth, the rice went well with the fish and the wasabi was delicious. Price was also very reasonable for the quality of fish. Overall, it was a good experience, I definitely would recommend

However, we saw that this place opens on Sundays (they had several banners saying that they were open on Sundays too) after the original place we wanted to check out had a sudden kitchen maintenance. This restaurant is a lot bigger than other teriyaki restaurants with booth and chair seats, plenty of big or small tables, two TVs playing different sports, and it was the temperature was perfect. They have a big menu so it's easy to see the prices and their offerings, which consists of teriyaki, soups, Chinese food, sushi and bubble tea. Their prices are very reasonable and the upcharge on fried rice is the lowest I've seen but I think there's a reason for that (it's pretty bland). The cashier lady was efficient at her job but definitely could be friendlier and I wish she wasn't super snappy, there was no real rush and we were maybe their fourth order during that time. We opted to dine in and took our seat waiting for food. They have offer fountain drinks and bottled drinks, as well as water cups. We got our utensils and sauce cups first then our food arrived not too long afterwards. My boyfriend got their chicken teriyaki and chicken katsu combo with fried rice while I got their chicken teriyaki and California roll combo. I love that they have steamed veggies as I like to enjoy any remaining teriyaki sauce with them. The California rolls were decent, not the best but not the worst either. The teriyaki sauce is pretty good, it is a great mix of sweet and savory. They are also very generous with rice as there was a bed of under my teriyaki and two scoops. My boyfriend enjoyed the katsu and the sauce that came with it was very delicious! The only issue we had was that the fried rice had no seasoning or color, I almost thought it was white rice with some veggies at first. Other than that, a solid teriyaki joint that seemed to have a good amount of people coming in to pick up orders for the most part.

I've ordered sushi rolls several times here and have always been pleasantly surprised. Their tuna roll has always come with generous amounts of fresh red tuna that you can actually taste unlike other restaurants that barely include enough to see. The broth tasted like a rich, well-simmered stock rather than the typical MSG-heavy ramen you often come across. Their set menu includes a ramen, a side, and a drink for about $20, which felt like a great deal given today's prices. The chicken karaage was perfectly crispy, and it seemed like they used dark meat, making it even more tender and flavorful! TWO TIMES the karage' came out RAW on the inside. I wish I woulda taken a picture but I was so upset and quick to have them take it back I didn't. After the second time, the waitress recommended we switched to the popcorn chicken instead because it was smaller and less likely to be raw inside. We agreed to the change, the chicken didn't come out until we were basically done with our ramen. When checking out the waitress apologized for the inconvenience and informed me that she was going to apply a discount, I thought that was nice until I realized the only thing she applied was my own coupon code that I had for the one tsukemen, absolutely nothing for the chicken. We got a sprite, they honestly would have comped a sprite or something. Overall a very disappointing experience, we probably will come back because we do enjoy this place. But this specific time was not ok, hope they do better.
