Pros: Portions were good and food was ready in under 10 minutes. You get a lot of meat and rice was perfectly cooked as well. Salad was fresh and sauce was nostalgic. Both the chicken and beef had good teriyaki flavor. Note - Little sauce on top but if you mix, you'll notice a lot more sauce on bottom. I prefer the beef over chicken only because beef absorbs the teriyaki flavor better making it a lot stronger in taste however, this also means some might find it too overwhelming and prefer chicken which is still fine and a safe bet. Beef would rate 4/5. Chicken would rate 3/5. Cons: Chicken had dried hard edges, many hidden under the top layer and drenched with sauce. Possibly from sitting for longer than desired before being reheated.

Spicy chicken teriyaki. Not very spicy, but the sauce is pretty good.

Their spicy chicken was pretty good! The sauce isn't the glaze that some other places use, which threw me off but was good nonetheless. Not very spicy though. I'd go back again.

Solid Teriyaki worth the stop. I randomly found this place tucked in the middle between Planet Fitness and Jersey Mike's. They have great options across the board. Look for their lunch specials. Typically a chicken dish, salad, gyoza or egg roll, and a drink for ~$12. Great value for lunch stop. I've been in 4 times and never waited more than 15 for food and it was busy. Average wait 8 minutes. Be aware their magnetic strip reader is broken. You'll need a credit card with a chip or cash. Plenty of seating, friendly staff, and a great product. Definitely worth a stop.

Chicken and Yakisoba Combination

I absolutely love this place! The staff is so sweet and nice. My coworker has been getting the Spicy Chicken Teriyaki here all the time, and I eventually joined him and was shocked! The sauce that they make for the spicy chicken is amazing. I would highly recommend getting anything made spicy.

My kiddo loved , gyoza, tempura from bento box. Hubbie loves their . Mix the spicy sauce w the rice...delicious.

Still amazing spicy chicken and great chicken bento box that hits the spot, california rolls were extra delicous. The prices are so reasonable, great portions and taste!

I ordered chicken yakisoba and chicken ramen. And it was the bomb! The staff are friendly and the prices are fair.

Chicken & Beef combination

Good restaurant, I stopped in here after a workout at the gym. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the beef and chicken combo to go. The wait was not long at all and the restaurant wasn't packed to which worked in my favor. The staff was pleasant just gave the appearance of nickel and dime-ing after charging me an additional $0.25 for some hot sauce. The food was delicious, to the point where I could overlook the nickel and dime-ing. I would recommend this place to my friends.

I used to love coming here ... However, they recently changed management and it has gone down hill since. Their menu very clearly states that all combos plates #10 - #19 come with rice and salad. However, when I ordered two #15's tonight, I was charged extra for two salads when clearly it states they are to be included. I asked why I was being charged for the salads and the lady at the register said "the new manager changed their mind and they no longer come with a salad." Even though their new menu says so. This is false advertising!! The new management either needs to update their newly put up menu or actually honor what it says. False advertising is illegal and I should not be charged for something which is clearly stated as being included.

If I could give this place a 0/5 I would. Terrible customer service and is extremely rude. Don't support terrible business.

We got a table almost immediately, as we did get there relatively early around 11:30 AM. The place was already somewhat busy, but there were a number of available tables. We all picked a different sushi roll, I chose the Miyabi roll, which was very good. Our service and server was very good, guided us through the menu as best as she could. All in all it was a great lunch, with a nice active lunch scene and busy vibe. Thank you

Started off strong with the uni shot, which was really good, and the sashimi fresh, clean, and exactly what you want from a sushi spot. We also ordered the mushroom and pumpkin salad with spinach, which tasted great, but at $20, it felt a bit overpriced for what it was. The rolls, unfortunately, didn't live up to how they looked. Presentation was definitely there, but the flavor just didn't hit. On top of that, they were falling apart pretty easily when picked up with chopsticks, which made them a little frustrating to eat. Service was solid overall staff was attentive despite how busy it was but they did miss our hamachi kama, which was a bit of a letdown. A couple things to note: this place is cash only, and it gets very busy, so expect a bit of a wait. That said, the vibe is nice, and the design of the space is something I actually liked. Would I come back? Probably for sashimi and appetizers but I might skip the rolls next time.

Overall: 8.5/10…read more Food: 8/10 I got the #5 Creamy Broth which was a creamy chicken broth topped with juicy pork chashu and a flavorful seasoned egg topped with free self serve tempura flakes, green onion, and ginger. I asked for a spice ball for the soup on the side. The soup was rich and creamy as the name suggested. The pork chashu was average at best. It lacked flavor and color. The noodles were thick and al dente and absorbed the broth very well. I would not recommend mixing the tempura flakes into the broth as it makes them soggy and they no longer have the crunchy texture to contrast the noodles. For tempura I got a steamed egg tempura, shrimp tempura, and potato tempura. The egg tempura definitely reined supreme. Would heavily recommend a tempura sauce which they happened to run out with today. The vegetable tempuras were all bland. Would not recommend. If you do get the tempuras, eat them before the main dish so the richness of the main dish doesn't ruin the delicate flavor of the tempura. Atmosphere: 9/10 Tables were cleaned and bussed regularly. There were plenty of tables where we didn't really have to wait after getting our food. The tables were kinda close to each other and the restaurant was packed on a Saturday night at 7 pm. It was very loud and we could not hear the music in the background and had to speak up when talking to each other. Service: 9/10 Self service similar to chipotle where you order at the counter and they make it in front of you and all the individual components of each dish are premade. Unlike chipotle, once they give you the main dish in a tray, there is a self serve Tempura bar where you pay by piece.

They are booths along the wall and some tables as well. You have a cooler of drinks and fountain drinks, and milkshakes as well. I had the ohayou gozaimasu burger - which comes with a beef katsu patty (ground beef, breaded and fried - you can swap it out for chicken or pork as well or tofu if you prefer), topped with a perfectly fried egg, crispy bacon, melty cheddar, creamy Japanese, mayo, finely shredded crunchy cabbage and zingy Katsu sauce This is a really unique burger. I've been wanting to come here for a while and I'm happy. I finally had a chance. I'm looking forward to coming back and try one of their burgers with chicken Katsu and also pork Katsu in the near future, but I had to go with the original beef patty on the first visit. Service was great. I was greeted quickly and provided with some suggestions after I mentioned it was my first visit here. Their menu is unique so that type of help is appreciated. I made mine a meal and got it with fries and you can choose from four different types of seasoning for your fries or get them plain. I got mine with the furikake seasoning which was nice and added that umami flavor profile perfectly. You also get to choose dipping sauce and I went with more Katsu sauce, but they have five or six others that looked good. I chose a lychee oolong tea in a bottle from the cooler as my meal drink, but you could also get a fountain drink or upgrade to a milkshake if you prefer All in all, this is a really really cool creative twist on classic burger spot. They also serve some bento boxes and Katsu style hotdog at this Kent location here. The bathroom was really clean as was the lobby and the open kitchen. All in all, I'll give them a 10 out of 10 and I will be back
