spicy chicken

I would have gave 5 star if it was less sweet on spicy chicken.. it was more sweet than spicy. Service was great! and inside was clean.

Price is a bit higher than other teriyaki places but they restaurant is clean and offers complimentary hot egg drop soup with veggies. The portion is excellent. The staff is not super friendly but not rude either. Standard service. The main thing is that the facility is clean, hoping that the kitchen is also as clean as the store front. Would definitely come back. Cleaner than most places and super cute soup station.

Love this Teriyaki spot! With a large L! Clean, fast and friendly! Seriously, the lady that is at the counter is so adorable. She's kind and so hardworking. The teriyaki chicken is what I usually get. The portions are so large I usually take half home. The chicken is juicy, not over cooked. Nice portion of salad. 2 scoops of perfectly cooked sticky rice. The dressing for the salad is so bomb! I mean really! Not too vinegary, not too sweet! Just perfect! All in all I love this place and will continue to patronize and sing hi praises!

California roll - on point!

We ordered a few things: California roll - 5 stars, Mongolian beef - 3 stars (tasted more like bulgogi), general tso's chicken - 3 stars (reminded me of sweet & sour chicken) & yakisoba - 3 stars (it couldve used more flavor). Overall, the food wasn't bad but it wasnt memorable either.

Before your airport departure or trader joes run, this place will cure your northwest style teriyaki fix, complimentary egg flour soup for customers as well but was so full from portions i didn't get any

This is the Hot Chicken. It's like General Tso but with a really nice sweet and spicy sauce (it's not too hot though!)

This is my new teriyaki joint! The price is amazing and so is the food! I had the Spicy Katsu and Hot Chicken my first time and could not stop thinking about it. I live in Seattle and am surrounded by really small and divey Teriyaki places that (to be honest) charge too much. I was surprised by how clean Sunny Teriyaki was and that they even offered free goodies like the Egg Flower Soup! You would never find a place in Seattle that actually gives out free food (even at the fancy places!) I was also impressed by the variety of food that they offered. It was great to have a choice so every time I visit I can try something new. I can confidently say that I will be back again and will probably visit whenever I'm in the area.

The short lines and visibly happy patrons made the decision even easier. There's something reassuring about seeing people eagerly digging into their food, and this place clearly had a loyal following. We ordered the Spam and egg breakfast along with the Portuguese fried rice, and both dishes absolutely delivered. The Spam and eggs were simple but done just right--crispy, salty slices of Spam paired perfectly with fluffy eggs and rice. It's comfort food at its best, executed with care. The Portuguese fried rice was the standout. Packed with flavor, it had that perfect balance of savory, slightly smoky, and just a hint of sweetness. Every bite felt hearty and satisfying, with generous portions and well-seasoned ingredients that made it hard to stop eating. Overall, this spot turned out to be a hidden gem in the middle of the airport. What started as curiosity from a tempting aroma ended up being one of the most satisfying meals of the trip. Definitely worth stopping by if you catch that same irresistible smell.

The line compared to many other places was short and the person who took our order was friendly. I got the spicy miso chicken sandwich that came with a side of chips. The chicken itself was a good size and it was juicy and crispy. The bun was amazingly soft and buttery. I also appreciated the spicy miso sauce as it added a lot of flavor and prevented the sandwich from being dry. My boyfriend got the teriyaki chicken & beef combo plate, which came with a large portion. Both the chicken and beef were doused in their yummy, sweet teriyaki sauce. The gyozas weren't anything special, but tasted decent dipped in the sauce.

We did 'family style' and ordered chicken karaage, gyoza, yakisoba and many sushi rolls to share among us. Lots of sushi choices. The food was amazing! Service was great. The atmosphere was chill. The table wait was minimal and totally acceptable. The room was simple (a good thing), and the restaurant's popularity made for a busy but relaxed atmosphere. Our greeter/server was efficient and polite. The sushi was surprising good! Perfectly cooked sushi-rice, and well proportioned topping of fish and other ingredients made for enjoyable bites. The sushi chefs are well trained and talented. Definitely recommend sampling their selections of sushi. You won't be disappointed. Five stars for this. Now for the grill part. Yakisoba is usually a grill item, as it's a stir-fried noodle dish, with it's distinctive Japanese flavor profile, and ingredients. Unfortunately, this was a miss. Though the soy-sauce coloring was correct, the flavor profile was not. The amount of beef in it was acceptable, but the other components were a miss. The only vegetable component was shaved-like slices of small zucchini which I could count with one hand. That seemed to treated more like a garnish, than a component of the dish. Had the grill-cook finished it with a drizzle of tonkatsu-sauce, it would've been closer to what was suggested on the menu. They should rename it "pan-fried beef-noodles" instead. Sure wasn't Beef Yakisoba. Other than that, table-side service was excellent, and the sushi was first rate. Just not the "yakisoba", cuz it wasn't. I will upgrade and edit this review if a few things are fixed.

Started off strong with the uni shot, which was really good, and the sashimi fresh, clean, and exactly what you want from a sushi spot. We also ordered the mushroom and pumpkin salad with spinach, which tasted great, but at $20, it felt a bit overpriced for what it was. The rolls, unfortunately, didn't live up to how they looked. Presentation was definitely there, but the flavor just didn't hit. On top of that, they were falling apart pretty easily when picked up with chopsticks, which made them a little frustrating to eat. Service was solid overall staff was attentive despite how busy it was but they did miss our hamachi kama, which was a bit of a letdown. A couple things to note: this place is cash only, and it gets very busy, so expect a bit of a wait. That said, the vibe is nice, and the design of the space is something I actually liked. Would I come back? Probably for sashimi and appetizers but I might skip the rolls next time.

Kalua pork plate $17.99- great Smokey taste on the kalua pig and the side salad had nice greens. However, the rice was re-purposed hard and sour sushi rice which I assume is also used for the other menu items. I would prefer just plain hapa or white rice. Loco style $6.49 it was an extra cost to make the kalua pig plate, loco moco style which means brown gravy with sunny side egg. Enjoyed the gravy, but the price was too high. Because the kiosk was self serve, I was unable to know what loco style meant and wished I had ordered at the counter. Hawaiian sun POG $3.99 very reasonable price. Ice cold. Perfect.

As you can see it is just about salmon and pickled jalapeños on tortilla chips with a with a few strands of cilantro. Nothing too crazy or standout. There was an extra surcharge for the salmon option which was something new for me when it comes to poke spots. And I do think the nachos would've tasted a bit better if they used fresh jalapeños instead of the pickled ones.

I asked for a spice ball for the soup on the side. The soup was rich and creamy as the name suggested. The pork chashu was average at best. It lacked flavor and color. The noodles were thick and al dente and absorbed the broth very well. I would not recommend mixing the tempura flakes into the broth as it makes them soggy and they no longer have the crunchy texture to contrast the noodles. For tempura I got a steamed egg tempura, shrimp tempura, and potato tempura. The egg tempura definitely reined supreme. Would heavily recommend a tempura sauce which they happened to run out with today. The vegetable tempuras were all bland. Would not recommend. If you do get the tempuras, eat them before the main dish so the richness of the main dish doesn't ruin the delicate flavor of the tempura. Atmosphere: 9/10 Tables were cleaned and bussed regularly. There were plenty of tables where we didn't really have to wait after getting our food. The tables were kinda close to each other and the restaurant was packed on a Saturday night at 7 pm. It was very loud and we could not hear the music in the background and had to speak up when talking to each other. Service: 9/10 Self service similar to chipotle where you order at the counter and they make it in front of you and all the individual components of each dish are premade. Unlike chipotle, once they give you the main dish in a tray, there is a self serve Tempura bar where you pay by piece.
