Terrible service and cheap. I got my soup in a cup. You used to get a decent size bowl of Udon. Now it's a tiny cup for the same price! Never again. So many other new better places at the airport now. Go someplace else until these guys do better.
Airport food tends to be overpriced and underwhelming, however, Hachi-ko proved to be only one of those, as it had great quality food. The line compared to many other places was short and the person who took our order was friendly. I got the spicy miso chicken sandwich that came with a side of chips. The chicken itself was a good size and it was juicy and crispy. The bun was amazingly soft and buttery. I also appreciated the spicy miso sauce as it added a lot of flavor and prevented the sandwich from being dry. My boyfriend got the teriyaki chicken & beef combo plate, which came with a large portion. Both the chicken and beef were doused in their yummy, sweet teriyaki sauce. The gyozas weren't anything special, but tasted decent dipped in the sauce.

Teriyaki chicken was mid. The salad with bad, sauce was bad and the lettuce was past its prime. I should have just gotten a banana from here instead.
Had a $15 meal voucher from the airline, so grabbed an early lunch near my gate (C9). The service was quick, the staff were friendly and the food was good. Portions are large and could easily be shared. There are a few barstools or they will pack your food in a bag for easy transport to the gate. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a warm meal at the airport.

Snack at 4:15am at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport... When I saw the word, Hachi-ko, I had to take a look. If you know the story of the loyal Japanese dog... you know why. (I sure was tempted to get a free sticker with purchase of 2 boba drinks, but I resisted!) Thinking that I won't be having Asian cuisine for a week, I decided to get Summer Rolls - not the spam musubi nor the poke bowl. Service was efficient, but on the abrupt side. One of the gals was speaking roughly to the customer in front of me. Hmmm... After I paid, I sat nearby at a table for customers. It helped to sit at a designated spot because of the dipping sauce. Let's prevent spills! I appreciate the fresh cucumber, lettuce, and carrots. It's too bad that the wrapper was tearing on the sides, but dry and hard on the ends. The shrimps and dipping sauce were good! I'm glad that I got something on the solid side to eat before the flight because we'll probably only get cookies and pretzels again... LOL!

We ate at Hachi-ko at the Seattle airport before our flight to IAD. We ordered the chicken teriyaki and the katsu with Japanese curry. The service was good and impressively fast. The food was fresh and tasty, and we enjoyed both dishes. The portions were generous, enough to fill the two of us. The picture was taken when we were already halfway through our meal. The price is high because it's in the airport. We highly recommend this place.
Price is up but quality is down. Their grilled chicken fried rice used to be my go to when traveling through SeaTac. It's now a whopping $21 if you add the chicken for $3. There is no longer any veggies other than green onions, frozen peas and carrots. They serve less in albeit a much more earth friendly container. But the worst is that the rice has no flavor. The texture is soggy and gone is the beautiful char on the rice and the chicken. I might try the yakisoba next time but maybe not. Definitely no longer something I look forward to since the recipe changed. I ate the chicken and dumped the rest and if you know my stance on wasting anything you'd know the significance.

Fast, hot, food with that classic sweet teriyaki sauce that pleases the palate. Friendly greeting with a 10% discount for airline employees. There's nothing quite like seeing a smiling husky to put you in that happy place. Served up with a smile! Mahalo!
Came off the plane starving at C concourse and this was one one the first I saw. Never let your stomach make decisions for you. There's a small area for bar seating and I wanted to sit down. They serve Hawaiian style plate lunch as well as udon and musubi. I got the teri beef and chicken combo and requested the sauce on the side. Good thing because the food was SALTY! I have a bit of headache and drinking water like a horse. Not good because I have another flight to catch and I tend to swell. It's a big at first glance. There was no way I could finish it. There was rice underneath the large portion of beef and chicken. Also came with green salad. It was okay. I liked the chicken better. And the rice was mushy. Coming from Hawaii, I have standards for plate lunch and this didn't make it. I paid $20 with tax and tip.
The food was good. The salmon and rice was almost worth $23. But the salad was mid unless you like sour and spicy sauce. Mostly lettuce and it was a bit dry. The salmon was cooked just right. The teriyaki sauce was perfect with a hint of ginger. Food came out in 10 minutes. Rice was good, better than instant Korean rice. I still think it's pricey but it's good enough for two kids and neither complained so it's good enough for me. It's the airport food. You get what you get. Ambiance/vibe was cool. I liked the logo. Solid A-
Desiring a matcha latte I decided to switch it up a bit and go for the matcha milk tea at Hachiko. What can I say? The ordering was super easy and fast. There was a bit of a wait due to the young man who took my order forgetting to ask a few questions, but once the lady who was making all the drinks realized what had happened she quickly and expertly righted the situation. Everyone was so nice here! Just super pleasant! And the matcha milk tea was superb! I ordered it at 50% sweetness which was just perfect. It had a brilliant matcha flavor, a pleasant creaminess, and a lovely proper color. I was quite impressed! Only downside is not really Hachiko's problem but just the layout of the airport terminal. It can be very easy to get caught in someone else's path as it is at a pinch point with the main C terminal gates, the entrance to the train, and the much narrower hall with more gates. The C terminal tends to be my least favorite because of this but at least restaurants like Hachki-ko makes this a nice stop. read more

The smell of sizzling Spam drifting through the airport was impossible to ignore--it pulled us in before we even saw the sign. One whiff and we knew we had to try it. The short lines and visibly happy patrons made the decision even easier. There's something reassuring about seeing people eagerly digging into their food, and this place clearly had a loyal following. We ordered the Spam and egg breakfast along with the Portuguese fried rice, and both dishes absolutely delivered. The Spam and eggs were simple but done just right--crispy, salty slices of Spam paired perfectly with fluffy eggs and rice. It's comfort food at its best, executed with care. The Portuguese fried rice was the standout. Packed with flavor, it had that perfect balance of savory, slightly smoky, and just a hint of sweetness. Every bite felt hearty and satisfying, with generous portions and well-seasoned ingredients that made it hard to stop eating. Overall, this spot turned out to be a hidden gem in the middle of the airport. What started as curiosity from a tempting aroma ended up being one of the most satisfying meals of the trip. Definitely worth stopping by if you catch that same irresistible smell. read more

I looked for vegan food in many places without much success. One place had something that sounded good, but I had already had enough tofu and enough Thai. I found this place and saw grab and go veggie sushi and veggie spring rolls. I opted for the former due to the summer 2026 fear of lettuce. Well, it was food. Not any discernible flavor. It's located around gate c. I went on a Tuesday night around 6:30pm. The airport was relatively quiet. The service was quick and the menu is extensive. They have a grab and go which looks very similar to other grab and go around the airport. They seems to specialize in teriyaki. Expect to spend $20+. Has a large assortment of drinks. The wait was short, and they pack the box. I ended up with a yakitori and they pack it. I had to pay extra for chicken, you pay less for no meat. Personally I could share this or make two meals out of it. Quality is decent, isn't a high end restaurant quality. Kind of Costco frozen noodles quality. The chicken is great. We came here because we had a layover flight in Seattle and saw someone eating Chicken Katsu so then I had to get me some Chicken Katsu! The food was okay. Nothing to rave about and nothing to complain about. We ordered a Chicken Katsu plate that came with two scoops of rice underneath the deep fried chicken with a side salad. I've had better Katsu chicken and sauce but it was still good :) Service was speedy though and we did not wait long at all :) read more

For airport food, I thought the curry that I ordered was delicious. It's a given that airport food is generally expensive but if you're hungry, you'll just have to pick whatever that's worth the price and possibly the line. I've only stopped by the Seattle-Tacoma airport a few times but it was a first for me to run into Hachi-ko since I've never been near this gate. I feel like most of the options I pass by in airports offer American food like sandwiches or coffee which is convenient but when I'm starving, I want something more appetizing and reminds me of home so when I see Asian food, I gravitate towards it. The curry is nothing like restaurant quality and actually reminds me of the Golden Curry brand that you can buy from Asian grocery stores. But when you're in an unfamiliar place far from home, there's just something about eating nostalgic Asian food that is comforting. I devoured this immediately as soon as I found a table to sit at. If you happen to want some Asian food and you're around this area at the airport, I would say this is a good place to stop by to get your Asian food fix before you hop on a plane. read more

Late post Sept 23' Hachi Ko offers reasonably priced Japanese/ Hawaiian food such as; katsu, spam musubi, Udon, teriyaki, sushi, goyza, Portuguese sausage breakfast and so much more. Located at Sea-Tac in the Alaska Airlines terminal. The customer service was great! Ordered the Sushi, which was fresh and the Katsu also delicious and thankfully hot! Katsu sauce needs work, yes it was that bad (missing a star) read more

Wow. I really really wanted to like this place it's fun and cute. But the prices are disgusting. I just got back from Japan, and am waiting for my next flight to go home, and I can get the chicken katsu there in a larger portion for $4.00, to charge 19.00 for that it's absolutely criminal. Not to mention the katsu was way overcooked. The salad was slimy as well. The katsu sauce was SO strong, almost couldn't use it. My boba tea tasted like straight chemicals or cleaner.... The staff were friendly, they were great. That's the only reason it has one star. So disappointed on so many levels. Let's be realistic about food prices and quality. Come on. read more

The taro milk tea really tasted of taro and the 50% was perfect!:) The staff were really quick with taking my order and were adorable singing. If I hadn't just eaten at Beechers I would have ordered the spam, eggs, and rice! read more
Definitely not a fan of bait and switch tactics. Ordered and paid for beef teriyaki but 10 minutes later said they were out and had a 30 min wait.... our I could have chicken teriyaki now. I'm in an airport so of course I don't have 30 minutes. I took the chicken. The menu said it's $2.50 cheaper so asked for the refund. They wouldn't give it to me and said it was "the same price". Also paid $1.25 more for brown rice and got white instead. Again, I'm not a fan of dishonest businesses.... the menu price is clearly different. read more
This joint was great! The chicken teriyaki was on par and the rice was fresh and sticky. The -2 stars is due to their lack of customer service. The lady behind the register must've had peepee cheerios for breakfast because she was mean as hail! I'd come back tho just cause the line was non-existent and the food came out within 5 minutes. Still sour about her meaniebobeanieness tho :( read more

For airport food...it will do! I love Portuguese sausage, eggs and rice! It's my favorite breakfast while in Hawaii! It's not quite the same, but it will do! read more
