    SeaTac Airport, N Concourse

SEATAC Airport, N Concourse. Embarque Whiskey Grill drew my eye while searching for my gate for a delayed flight because it screamed "WHISKEY!" A nice, modern brightly lit interior with warm wood accents. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bar at this full-service casual dining restaurant features globally distilled spirits, with a bit of a relaxing oasis to imbibe on an American menu w/Vietnamese and French influences.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu has sandwiches, salads, flat breads and includes a signature whiskey glazed burger, bánh mì and panini, seasonal & locally sourced seafood, and family-friendly favorites like mac and cheese. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I tend toward Old-Fashioneds and Manhattans so this was a good place to park yourself while waiting for your flight.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]If doing a quick breakfast/brunch they also offer a Vietnamese Bloody Mary, w/Sea Ice Vodka, tomato juice, Hoisin sauce, Sriracha, house made Nuoc Cham sauce, garnished w/olives, lime wedge & Thai basil.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was easy and attentive. Let them know if you're short on time and they'll keep an eye on your orders. You can always take your food packed for your flight. See you there!

Over priced for basic food. Spent over $50 for a bland plate of shrimp po boy and squid sticks "calamari". And two drinks Who eats calamari with marinara? They call this a full restaurant but it's slime pickings if you ask me. Service was mediocre so say the least. Didn't have high expectations to start with so I'd have to say they met them.

I paid for my order and a few minutes later was told they don't have short rib sandwich which was $20+ so I chose shrimp po' boy since it was the same price. I asked about the chicken pesto and pesto pasta and the girl shook her head, nada. We shared the order. The spaghetti was good. The wait was a bit long for a to go order.

    PNW sour

Embarque is located in the N gate area of Seatac. We came for a drink after breakfast. One of the bartenders provided us good service & had good follow-up to see if we were enjoying our drinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had the PNW sour, he warned me it had some egg whites (the froth on the cocktail) which I personally didnt mind or think much of.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This place was a little less crowded than the others in the terminal and they seemed pretty prompt in getting their customers waited on and with what they need.

A nice to place to wait for your flight in the N Gates area. Either order at the counter, or place an order with the friendly bartender. We previously sat at the Egg joint a couple doors down but it was crazy busy and we didn't want a big breakfast plate. I ended up deconstructing this thing since the bagel was nicely buttered and toasted. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Couple of cocktails and a bagel sandwich without sitting on top of each other.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We eat here often on trips to Sonoma Square. Great service, excellent food, great wine selection. Nice atmosphere but casual enough, and they're good with kids too. 5 stars all the way! I recently tried the pesto chicken ravioli and it was amazing!

Great public bar, great service. They have some innovative drinks, delicious calimari, and very attentive bartenders. New in SEA and we enjoyed hanging out here waiting for our plane.

After 7 nights of cruise food, we were ready to try something new and local. Sharp's was only 5 minutes from our hotel, and highly rated, so I figured we would give it a shot. We arrived at the restaurant to a full parking lot with people standing outside. However, when we went in, the wonderful hostess informed us there was no wait. The seater showed us to our table, and chatted with us about our day along the way. He also explained the 3 menus that he gave us, and informed us we were right in time for happy hour. Our server, Sam, greeted us promptly, and she was so incredibly welcoming to our family, answering questions about the menu items. It was so hard to decide what to order, so we ordered several small plates (Brisket nachos, Wings, Brisket tacos, fries, and mac and cheese, along with the complimentary cornbread). To our surprise, everything came out so quickly. This was probably the fastest service I've ever had at a restaurant. The servers who delivered our food were friendly and welcoming as well. Not only that, EVERYTHING we ate was phenomenal. The fries were flavorful and perfectly salted, the wings were fantastic, and the brisket nachos? Wow....the brisket was some of the best we've ever had, and the nacho chips even stood out. The biggest compliment is from our 15 year old who said that the mac and cheese is some of the best pasta she's ever had. Throughout the whole meal, Sam was so attentive and chatting with us about the restaurant and dessert options. I truly enjoyed everything about our experience. The food and service both were top notch. The only thing I didn't like about this restaurant is that I'll have to book another flight to Seattle from Michigan to eat there. I'll be recommending it to everyone I know though!

I stopped by to see that they had and was psyched about almost all the things on the menu! Pasta, Chicken Wings, Mac 'n Cheese bites, Fish Tacos, super great selection. The food came out hot and relatively fast for the stuff I picked. The Nook was open, so I had time to grab a quick beer while I was waiting. I made the difficult choice and settled on Fish Tacos, Mac 'n Cheese bites and the Potato Salad and Macaroni Salad. Portion size was good, definitely had leftovers for the next day. The food was great, the salads were fresh and didn't feel like they were scooped from store bought tubs. The fish tacos were really tasty and I really like the corn tortillas. I like that the Mac salad had black olives in it, better than the salad down at Marination! I'm not sure exactly what their schedule is for West Seattle as they're pretty new, but I checked on their website www.GilbertsGreats.com. That was not really an option after getting off a cruise with a 4 hour wait for our flight - so airport food it was. Gah. Seattle airport is way too crowded. But I found this little gem tucked away outside Terminal B, and it turned out to be a pretty great, albeit expensive, lunch. It is a little tricky to find. You have to take an elevator up to the second floor, but once you get there, it is worth the effort. Our server was T, Tee, Tea? I honestly have no idea how he spells it, but he was enthusiastic, friendly and quick with recommendations. He suggested adding avocado to our club sandwich, and that was a GREAT call. We also asked to substitute onion rings for the fries for an upcharge. He forgot, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise because the regular fries are AWESOME. Seriously, don't mess with them. The club sandwich and fries were easily enough food for two people. The damage? About $30 with tip. For airport food, that still feels painful, but at least this was actually GOOD. And there is another reason to seek this place out. My husband is a private pilot, so he was completely entertained by the fact that you can sit at the counter and watch planes take off from a level above the ground. Honestly, that may have been the best part. Great little spot, especially if you need to escape the madness of the main terminal for a while.

I opted for Brewtop Social vs waiting 30+ minutes to be seated. I'd seen the enticing menu at the base of the staircases leading to the eating area, so I climbed the flight of stairs, yup goofy me they had an elevator around the corner!! Oops!! After climbing the stairs it was open seating, the bar seats faced into the bar not overlooking terminal or airfield. I opted for a view of the airfield, little did I realize this was family seating. After reviewing the menu again I decided on the LOAD BAKED POTATO SOUP and a hard cider from a local Puget Sound brewery. The service was fast to drop a glass of ice water, a since the A/C in terminal wasn't working the water was good to start. The soup arrived fast, but I was shocked when they didn't offer crackers or bread to accompany it! Before I could start eating I had to request/wait for a clean spoon as I don't like food caked my tea spoon (they don't have soup spoons). The cool (Not Ice cold) hard cider was served in a can, or served with frozen mug. What is hard to swallow was the 225% markup on the hard cider. The atmosphere/decor was pretty easy going. I'll remember next time to find a place to eat where kids don't run freely. Sorry, I forgot to get photos to present to you all. Overall, they could probably do some seating upgrades for the bar and family seating areas.

The food fell short across the board: Tomato Soup: It was way too sour, lacking any of the rich, balanced flavor you want in a classic tomato soup. Mac & Cheese: While they call it the "World's Best," it was just way too cheesy to the point of being overwhelming. Instead of being creamy and balanced, it felt heavy. To make matters worse, the guy serving us really wasn't very friendly, which only added to the subpar experience. Between the letdown dishes and the service, it's definitely not worth the airport premium. And it's the airport and the tables were filthy.
