For airport food, this actually wasn't bad. The shrimp spring roll was fresh even though it was pre-made in the refrigerated section. The pork banh mi came hot - the bread was good but wished the pork was a little less salty and the vegetables were more pickled. The thinly sliced beef is plentiful, though definitely a bit on the chewy/overcooked side. It's also a huge portion - could easily feed two people. I was thrilled to see this family-run Vietnamese restaurant at SeaTac and took the airport transit to go between terminals to pick up some lunch from here. I ordered a tofu banh mi and a side of egg rolls. The egg rolls were pretty standard/average, but the banh mi was fantastic! It smelled so good in the takeout bag I was handed that I couldn't wait to get back to my terminal to enjoy it pre-flight. When I unpacked my lunch, I noticed that the banh mi was quite big. Considering it was barely more expensive than at non-airport restaurants, it's a great value and wayyy better than about 95% of other U.S. airport dining options. It was totally worth transiting for, and this will be my go-to whenever I fly through SeaTac. read more

I got the ribeye steak pho and was blown away by how much I enjoyed it. The noodles were well cooked, the vegetables seemed fresh, the steak was nicely portioned, and the broth rich and flavorful. I added a packet of sriracha and it balanced out the richness of the broth perfectly. It was a bit on the pricey side (~$27 with tax and tip) but at an airport that's to be expected. This used to be a favorite when they were on Priority Pass, but I don't go very often anymore. They have a line are where you can grab snacks, drinks, and other refrigerated items. This line is usually pretty long, but moves quickly. I generally get the shrimp fresh rolls here. They are pretty good and I like how self contained they are. I am gluten free, so my only other option is the noodle bowl. I like the noodle bowl, but it has a really thin sauce and is awkward to mix so it is not a good meal to bring on the plane with you. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I don't love the ambiance here. It's pretty bustling, with tight booths and people constantly walking between tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I usually get some snacks (they have better options for me than the grab and go locations in N) and just take things on the plane with me. read more

Awesome bahn mi for an airport stop! We enjoyed a Vietnamese iced coffee and BBQ pork bahn mi that was very generously sized with tons of fresh veggies. Eventually the bartender noticed me and put her hand up at me telling me to wait. Soon after she came back and I ordered a blood Mary with some pot stickers. My Bloody Mary was good, she eventually came back at around 10:10 with the card reader. I asked for one more drink and she told me the bar is closed now. Didn't check prior for last call or for refills. I cashed out and asked if I was still getting my pot stickers she said she didn't charge me for pot stickers. Vietnamese flavor profiles vary based on the cook's/owner's regional background. However, the baguette was delicious. Crispy and a slight chewy center. The toppings were fresh and abundant. It consisted of pickled carrots, large slices of cucumbers, jalapeños and cilantro. Overall, I'm happy to see more variety in an airport, especially Vietnamese cuisine.
