    Vegetarian Pho

This place really surprised me. Hadn't heard of this place even but tried it, thanks to my friends and boy, so delicious. Extremely flavorful broth, great quantity and so healthy. Highly recommend the tofu vegan pho. The ambiance is pretty good and it's a huge place. Thankfully there was no waiting but the service was a bit slow, maybe because it was a weekend and they were busy.

I used to really love this place, which makes it even more disappointing to say the quality seems to have fallen off. The broth tasted flat like it was missing that depth and richness you get from a properly steeped soup. It just didn't have the same flavor that made me keep coming back before. Maybe I caught them on an off day, but it felt noticeably different from what I remember. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to make me want to return anytime soon :(

    Phở Dặc Biệt

Phở Dặc Biệt: There was a good portion of meat in this bowl. The meat was unfortunately quite tough, but the tendon was great. Loved the elasticity and chewy texture; it wasn't very sticky like other beef tendon I've had. If I come back next time, I'll just get a whole thing of tendon. The broth was a bit sweet for my preference, but not bad. The restaurant had plenty of seats when we went on a weekend afternoon. At the end of the meal, you go up to a counter in the back to pay the bill.

Pho dac biet (all the cuts)

Best pho I've ever tasted! I ordered a large bowl of pho dac biet (all the cuts) and each bite was flavorful. Everything came out quickly. I thought that will be my favorite but then I tried pho tron (dry pho) and it tasted even more delicious. The type of noodles is wider and there is sauce mixed in. I got to try it with the soup that came separately too. Also, I love how the broth in the bun bo hue was light and full of spices. Overall, everything on the menu is a must-try!

Pho Bac is a no-frills spot serving some of the best pho in the city. Prices are still fairly reasonable, though I have noticed them slowly creeping up over time, which is understandable these days. One tip is that paying with cash can save you about one to two dollars. Portions are generous and the food is always well balanced and fresh. I usually go for the pho bò with brisket and tendon, which never disappoints. The only downside is the parking situation. The lot is a bit unstructured, so there's a chance your car could get boxed in, and there doesn't seem to be a clear system to manage that.

Please come here. The food is delicious, the line is nonexistent. Staff was very helpful on gluten free.

Pho Bac Súp Shop is a great place for a bowl of pho. Service is fast and efficient, and the restaurant is quite spacious. There are plenty of tables and we were seated as soon as we arrived. The food came out quickly. I had the Beef Pho and it was delicious. Solid choice for pho in Seattle C-ID.

Ordered the pho fries and pho tron with pork belly The fries were not good, dry and didn't have much flavor, I wouldn't recommended ordering. I think some work could be done to make the fries better, as it's a good idea. But the pho tron was good for someone who likes dry noodles. Good flavor and pork belly was flavorful. It wasn't too busy around 6pm on a weekday night, but parking is always a headache since they share a small lot with The Boat.

    Rib pho - yum!

Pho Bac Sup Shop in Seattle's Little Saigon was our first visit and it definitely made an impression. A quick heads-up: parking is limited, and be cautious of the homelessness in the surrounding area. Once inside though, the experience is a total contrast. The space is very hipster-forward, both in décor and concept--you can get your pho fix with a cocktail, and there's even a giant tree in the middle of the dining room. Such a cool, unexpected vibe. We ordered the rib pho, which was a must. The broth, oh my... the broth was hearty, deeply beefy, and so good we drank every last drop. We also tried the pho trộn (dry turmeric noodles) out of curiosity. I worried the turmeric might taste medicinal, but it was the opposite--well balanced, flavorful, and hitting all the flavor buds. Portions are very generous; honestly, one order of either dish could easily be shared. If we had more stomach space, we absolutely would've tried their bún bò Huế--next time for sure. Overall, this is a great spot for pho: good food, friendly service, and dishes come out quickly. You pay your bill at the bar, which makes it easy to be in and out. Cool atmosphere and worth the visit.

I was craving pho with short ribs so I wanted to give this place a try again! Previously, my experience wasn't great, however, I very much enjoyed my dish this time! The short rib was very tender and easy to eat this time and the meat came off the ribs easily! It was delicious and full of flavor. The pho and broth was good as well and of course I had to have it with Chinese donuts which tasted great together. The service was good. The food was made in a timely manner and our requests were made. The ambiance is nice. Decorations are enjoyable and there's plenty of seating.

    Pho dat biec
    Selena L.

This is me and my boyfriend's go to spot for pho. Service is fast, it's usually consistent, but the parking situation is a nightmare. We always each get a large pho dac biec because we like taking a little home, even though most people don't like leftover pho. I've gotten the bun bo hue for takeout before, I would skip the bun bo hue and opt for the pho at this place. I also recommend this location over the SLU/downtown one because you can choose between two sizes whereas the SLU location is one size only. There's also a difference in pricing on the menu, cheaper if you pay in cash. We haven't came in here in a few months but this time around, we noticed that something about the broth tasted different, and not in a good way. I thought it was oiler than normal but my boyfriend thought it was something else, though he couldn't pinpoint what exactly tasted different. Hopefully the next time we come back, it'll taste like it did before.

I love the broth here. Some say it's a little salty but I think it's well seasoned. The pho doesn't really need anything else. However, if you like it spicy they have chili oil sauce you can put in which I tried (spoiler it was great). Pho 5/5 I would definitely come here again. I also loved that the broth was HOT when it came out. Too many other pho places are serving their broth lukewarm which is gross. Fries with lemongrass 3/5 I wouldn't get this again. It's just generic fries with a cilantro lime-like aioli Chicken wings 5/5 great sauce, sweet and tangy with the fish sauce Service was good and the restaurant has a cool "streets of Vietnam" vibe.

Pretty mid pho. But I'm from LÁ and we have WAY better pho here. We came here bc this is a local institution! One thing that was EXCELLENT was the drink tho!!!

Since my last review the restaurant has closed and reopened, and expanded their menu, to now include more dumplings and varieties of noodles. They also now have a very handy duo of ordering kiosks, which you order at prior to sitting down. I found their kiosks easy to use, which isn't always a given. This being my first visit back in a while, I had to get the spicy cumin lamb biang biang noodles. However I had to try some dumplings, so we shared the lamb dumplings, while my dinner buddy had the spicy cumin lamb rice noodle soup (the same kind of noodles you'd get at a ten second yunnan noodle type of place). They also now have a complimentary side dish bar that has seaweed salad, peanuts, and kimci, as well as some condiment type things like scallions and minced garlic. I helped myself to some seaweed salad to nibble on while waiting for our food, and it was good although food comes out quickly enough that you don't necessarily have to rely on it unless you're really chomping at the bit. The spicy cumin lamb biang biang noodles are just as good as I remember. The biang biang noodles here are perfectly chewy, and the rest of the dish has a lovely flavor aside from just spice. They're generous with lamb and cabbage which add a lot of textural variety to the plate. The lamb dumplings were the sleeper hit of the meal, filled with juicy, tender hunks of lamb surrounded by toothsome clearly hand-rolled wrappers. Absolutely do not skip the lamb dumplings. My dinner buddy really enjoyed her rice noodle soup with spicy cumin lamb, which I think would be a great option on a cold day. Everything is pretty much self serve here, so don't expect full service -- although they did stop by to refill our water once. The food here is so good, though, and prices are so reasonable, that I truly do not care that the experience is pretty bare bones otherwise.

At the counter I ordered the "Tomato Niku-Tama" and poured some water from the self-serve station. The soup base was good and the udon was ok. We came back another time on a weekday, still a big line, but a bit shorter. We waited about 45 mins before our turn came. Ordered: 1) Classic Ramen (Regular, Mild, Thick noodles): I wanted to share with my 5 year old. I felt the broth could have been thicker. It was a bit light and not very filling for me, compared to other ramen places I have been to back in California. The flavor was definitely good though. Apparently there was some mix-up, because I felt they gave us medium spicy, my husband's ramen (medium spicy) and ours tasted exactly the same. It ended up being too spicy for my kid. She hardly ate any noodles, complaining it was spicy even after I separated them from the broth. I didn't complain to the restaurant since they were super busy that day, and honestly it was almost 10PM and we were starving and out of patience. 2) Classic Ramen (Regular, Medium Spicy, Thick noodles) 3) Vegan Gyoza: This was good. My 5 year old finished it all. 4) Strawberry Mochi Ice Cream: We loved it. We got 2 pieces in one order and savored every bite. The restaurant had limited seating and had typical ramen place vibes. The servers weren't very attentive; we kept trying to find someone who could help us at multiple instances. They seemed super busy and short-staffed. So not a great experience in terms of service, but for the food I would give a solid 4/5.

This place is a true gem, serving satisfying, delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere at an affordable price. The restaurant looks small from the front, but space is used efficiently and they manage to fit quite a bit of seating into not that large of a dining room. Tables are mostly four tops, quite spacious at that, and surrounded by sturdy wooden chairs. I came for dinner on a Friday evening and there were a few other tables at any given time. Service was quick and our water never ran empty. We had the wontons in hot oil, topped with peanuts, I had the beef chow fun, and my dinner buddy had the pork with hot sauce noodles. The wontons are very very good, stuffed with flavorful pork and swimming in a sauce that sits in that perfect spot at the intersection of hot and sour. The peanuts and scallions add a delightful crunch. Their beef chow fun satisfies every bit of childhood nostalgia I have for this dish, with lots of wok hei, bouncy noodles, and the most tender of beef. I think my favorite beef chow fun in the city still lives at A+ Hong Kong Kitchen, but this is a close second. The portion here is also huge. I am a human vacuum and I actually brought leftovers home, which is rare for me. The pork with hot sauce noodles is seemingly a fusion of zha jiang mian and dan dan noodles. My friend really enjoyed it and actually finished the whole thing, which is saying something given that she doesn't usually eat that much. There are so many other items on the menu that I'm eager to try, so I will definitely be back.

While the name says it is a noodle house, they are also known for their clay pot rice. We got the preserved meat clay pot rice, salt and pepper fried fish filet, and beef brisket and wonton noodle soup. The clay pot rice was okay - the pricing is fair but the execution could be a bit better. I felt like the rice was a bit lacking in flavor, and they only have the standard soy sauce, not the ones in a sauce tray that is usually a bit sweeter. The salt and pepper fried fish filet was good - definitely recommend that for the taste and value. The noodle soup was also good - the wontons were okay but I loved the beef brisket. Noodles seem to be handmade as the texture is a bit uneven, but I appreciate these types of noodles more. Service is standard for a Chinese restaurant - you just need to flag them down and requests are fulfilled in a timely manner
