I ordered a Pho- build my own. The price is exactly the same as Pho with everything. I chose the build my own because I don't like fatty brisket. Big mistake. So unless you got sick eating some of the items, order the pho with everything and just give the stuff you don't want to others in your group. Food is tasty. They added 15% tip automatically. I love pho, and I'll usually eat all of my pho, but not when the broth lacks salt, herbs, and depth. I'm not sure where the pho hype for Seattle came from, but it might be a quantity over quality issue. I got a bowl of the combo pho and it was a lot of noodle, protein and broth so you're bound to leave feeling full. But the magic of pho is the broth and the broth seemed to tease the star anise and not much else. They also skimped on the scallion and cilantro which didn't help either. No amount of sriracha/chili oil was saving this broth. And the service was pretty much non-existent outside of people bringing food to your table, which I wouldn't have minded so much if the food was actually good. Ambiance is casual, very much self service type of vibe. The pho is good here, but the staff attitude is atrocious. For some time, I have been getting the vibe that the staff here act kinda cold and emotionless. There is usually one person with a deadpan face. Today, the female staff skimped on all communication - when I first came in, she started to guide me to a seat, changed her mind, and got another party seated, and left me to wonder where I can sit. Next, I went to the bathroom to find that there are no more toilet paper. I did not have high expectations already, but I let her know about it when she brought me food anyways. I've had lunch at Pho Bac a couple of times, and if you come here it's a bit different from some of the other Pho places in the area. Generally you seat yourself, though if it's crowded there will be a sheet to sign in. Once you get a seat, there is a menu that you scan via QR code, and then you order/pay then. The staff will bring you a pitcher of water, utensils, and napkins. After the food comes out, they'll pretty much leave you alone. So, don't expect a ton in terms of service, but if you're looking somewhere to just eat and then go uninterrupted, this is a great option. Overall, I like the pho here. The portion size is pretty big for what you pay, and I've definitely had leftovers after eating until I was full. I also like having my own water pitcher so I don't have to ask for more water. Nothing hits on a cold Seattle day like a warm bowl of Pho. This spot is walking distance from the Amazon Spheres and was recommended by an Amazon employee. We were also dining with someone who is gluten-free and it was great knowing that her dietary restrictions wouldn't be an issue here. You can seat yourself here and then scan the QR code where you can order and pay. So the only only interaction you have with the staff is when they give you your food / refill drinks. I like the QR ordering system because you can customize your order with more control. I got a pho with all of the fixings and added veggies to it- probably the best move. Great casual Vietnamese spot with cute modern decor! I tried this restaurant out on Thursday for lunch, arrived around 12:45pm and the place was busy. We put our name on the list in the front and we only had to wait 10-15m to be seated for a party of 3 and which was not bad at all for how busy it was. Nothing is better than a warm rich bowl of pho on a rainy cold day. The broth here is pretty good and has a rich beefy flavor that's complemented by the flavor of various warming spices like star anise and cinnamon. I like getting the mix of meats to try a little bit of everything, but sometimes I feel like they skimp on the meats a bit. Although I like pho, my true love is with banh mi. I love the crusty bread filled with flavorful meats and rich pate mayo contrasted by the freshness of pickles and cilantro. The banh mi here is always great with tender fatty meats which I love and even the meatball banh mi that I've never had before was amazing. The biggest downside to this place is that I feel like they're known for the beef rib pho, but they're simultaneously always out of it.
