N7, egg tomato dry noodle- EXCELLENT!
    Truman W.

Pretty tasty hand-pulled 'biang biang' or bang bang noodle. I ordered the dry version with egg and tomato. The thick, wide noodle is best handled with chopsticks (forget the fork it's not spaghetti.) Conveniently located on 2nd level of Westgate Mall, which is a short 10 minute monorail ride from the Seattle Center.

Intestines rice noodles with extra order of lamb

Got off monorail stop at west lake and came down to Level two and saw this and happened to be lunch time and immediately I wanted to try! Menu is simple and the touch screen ordering is easy to use! I ordered intestines noodles with extra lamb. The decor is very authentic. There is plenty of sitting area since that is the food court with other restaurants also. The server was friendly, and the automated machine will called out the order number in both English and mandarin! The noodles are delicious and intestines are super yummy and soft!

It had been a moment since we last stepped inside this deelish mala infused hand-pulled noodle spot and once again it didn't disappoint! We had both the dry and soup versions of the spicy and tingly beef biang noodles that were loaded with chunks of tender beef. For sides don't forget to order the chicken potstickers that have a nice crunchy exterior and filled with diced chicken and veggies. We also got the steamed pork dumplings. This time around we didn't get the pork won tons in a spicy chili sauce and if you've got room be sure to order them too! It's pretty much a no frills order from the screen, grab your number and wait for the server to bring out your food. The servers were great and they'll bring you out cups of water and they came back to refill our cups! The interior is very clean with one large communal table and several tables with seats lining the wall. It is an open kitchen and you can see them preparing the dishes. I'm craving the spicy tingly mala sensation as I'm writing this review!

I'm a huge fan of Xi'an Noodles! I've only tried their beef biang noodles but it's just so good I keep getting it. Noodles are wide and I would say the portion size is pretty decent for the price. This is literally so close to Westlake Station on the second floor of westlake center. I ordered through the kiosk and it was pretty fast service. Lots of seating around this floor too!!

Delicious for fast food! We were told the lamb is indeed halal so we ordered cumin lamb burger and the cumin lamb dry noodles for lunch. Just added some hot sauce and it hit the spot! Fresh, Handmade noodles made right in front of us. Went back for dinner also.

Went for Lunch Food - 5/5. Noodles had the perfect thickness to provide a delectable bouncy chew. Sauce was aromatic with cumin, had just the right amount of spice to liven up the flavor, and a delicious sourness. Lamb was seasoned well, tender, and had no gamey odor. They gave plenty of lamb so each bite had a great noodle to meat ratio. Bun had a soft bite with a slight crisp from the toasted sides. It had a mild flavor with not too much oil, which paired well with the rich flavor of the lamb. The bun was perfect for dipping into the leftover sauce of the noodles and both were elevated by a helpful serving of vinegar. Service - 4/5. Everything is self-service from ordering through the kiosk, picking up the food, and getting any condiments. The staff don't really engage in conversation at all since it is designed to be self-service. I personally enjoy that kind of service style, especially for a quick lunch location. Value - 5/5. Dry biang noodles go for $14 while the lamb bun was $7.50. Food was delicious and the portion sizes were good. They really load you up on the lamb, which is highly appreciated. Excellent Shaanxi cuisine restaurant. Parking - Mall Garage/Street (Metered)

Spicy B4. Pork Wonton in Chili Sauce

I know another reviewer mentioned this, but if you're a fellow NYC native and think this place is related to the Xi'an Foods in Flushing, it is not. The food is bomb as hell. The cumin lamb noodles taste exactly the way this dish is meant to taste. The wontons are also perfect and go well with the vinegar they provide on the side. The reason why I didn't give a higher rating is that I'm not sure if even inflation can justify the price point of the dishes. I also noticed that (when I went) lots of orders were getting messed up. I double checked to ensure I received the right order (which fortunately I did).

I forgot how much I love these noodles!! I should have ordered online and picked it up but I was thinking they wouldn't be busy haha. Anyways I ran next door to get lunch and had to wait a bit but it was still pretty quick. I ordered the lamb cumin dried noodles. Noodles were perfect texture with a slight chew. Braised lamb was so yummy. Even better the next day. The staff was really nice and packed me extra chili oil without me asking for more.

    Emily L.

really tasty, the broth was very flavorful and full of spices. However the noodles had a strange metallic type of aftertaste afterwards that was very subtle but definitely didn't ruin the food. self service was easy and the pickup time is really quick too. A great place for something quick and easy. Updated review: I got the lamb noodle soup and it was tasty. This time there was no metallic taste in it. The service was great as usual, quick and convenient!

    Sesame Noodles ($10)

I LOVE hand-pulled noodles and I get extremely excited when a Xi'an restaurant turns it out in the most unexpected of spots. While there's not much to Westlake Mall itself, this spot certainly needs to be on your to-eat list while you're downtown. While I'm not sure if they make all their noodles fresh, the noodle quality was certainly hitting the spot for me. You order at the counter and receive a number, and they'll call out to you once your food is ready. I ordered their Sesame Noodles ($10), which I knew was likely their only real plant-based choice. I expected a savory noodle dish with Chinese sesame paste and chili oil, and that was exactly what I got. They even checked the back to make sure that there were no animal products used in the dish. Considering this is inside a mall, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste and would totally return here for another round of noodles.

This small takeout spot inside Westlake mall was not as good as the original location near UW. The food was a bit bland and not as flavorful. The service however is fast and convenient for a quick bite to go when you're in a rush for work, however I wouldn't compare this place as the same compared to the original UW location. Everything is self-service here: busing your own tray, getting condiments and utensils. My gripe was that the wontons and soup were a bit bland compared to the other locations we had visited. I guess the place is convenient but not delicious

This brief post was for a visit back on 6/28/21 during the extreme heat wave that descended upon the Pacific Northwest. Xi'an Noodles was a terrific food court find in Westlake Center, especially since most of the retail/restaurant core was shutdown due to the pandemic and heat wave. Not even Pike Place Market was an option. Excellent bang for your buck with generous servings of both tasty noodles and dumplings, it was a satisfying meal for both me and The Homie. Helpful destination for us staying at the nearby Mayflower Park Hotel at the time.

Lamb Dry Noodles with normal spice level, really delicious!!

The wontons were good, but the chili sauce was the star. It was numbing and a little minty feeling. We showed up with half our party since the rest of our group had a hard time looking for parking, but they sat us right away and didn't give us a hard time at all. The decor is cute - darker lighting with spotlight on their cultural elements. Not gonna lie, when a restaurant over emphasizes its Asian decor, usually I have pretty low expectations for the food since it will likely be Americanized. This place proved me wrong! Their menu was a mix of Cantonese dishes, Taiwanese elements, Shanghainese dumplings and noodles, and Szechuan mala flavors. We probably over ordered but seriously enjoyed all the dishes. From most to least favorite: - Ginger & Scallion Fish Fillets: Sooooo fragrant and honey. LOVE! - Typhoon Shelter Beef Short Ribs: The fried garlic seasoning is fantastic, usually seen with crab or seafood but with short ribs it was excellent and super flavorful too - Black Truffle Wagyu Fried Rice: A pretty big portion for the price! The aroma of the truffle was fantastic but not overpowering - Half Hong Kong Style Honey Roast Duck: Hard to find good roast duck in the US so was happy to see it in the menu, skin was crispy and flavorful and the sauce was authentic as well. A tad too salty if I were to be nitpicky which is why it's not higher on the list - Traditional Kurobuta Pork Soup Dumplings: Good but not standout, not the star of the show compared to places that specialize in dumpings - Stir-Fry Green Beans: A little bland, can skip The Hong Kong Style iced lemon tea is just okay, but it's hard finding one truly authentic around here. Still enjoyed it! For the price point, ambiance, and quality of food, I was blown away and highly recommend!

It felt like they might be understaffed, which didn't help the overall experience. The appetizer platter was a bit disappointing. The honey walnut shrimp didn't really land for our table -- though I will say the crispy coating was interesting and I appreciated that they used actual walnuts. The entrees were better. The chow mein was my favorite -- great smoky wok flavor, well seasoned, and just really satisfying. The seafood clay pot was also solid, with shrimp, fish, and tofu. The beef broccoli was nicely cooked too, especially the broccoli with garlic. Overall, there are some good dishes here, but with how slow the service was, I'm not sure I'd pick this spot again.
