We came here for lunch the other day and the food was absolutely fantastic! Pros: + Fish Blossom - cooked to perfection. The perfect thing to halt the sweet and spicey cravings + Tons of vegan options - they do not have a special vegan menu printer, but they can make a lot of their dishes plant based. Take a look online at their vegan section + Friendly Service + Reasonable Parking Cons: NA IG: AndTheNextAdventureBegins

Dumplings and Sichuan cuisine together! Win win !! Loved the food and the vibe. Everything was super tasty and delicious. Chicken soup dumplings were the best. Service was good too. Lots of variety for vegan and vegetarian folks. Definitely recommend.

We've come here twice and had a great time both times! If you're looking for a Taiwanese place with dishes similar to Din Tai Fung but more affordable, more authentic, and less pretentious, Chiho is definitely your place. Their mixed basket xiaolongbao is super fun and all the flavors were great, but you can't go wrong with the classic pork. The beef noodle soup is my personal favorite, but the Dan Dan noodles were probably a close second. Definitely a place people should check out, whatever you order I'm sure you'll have a good time

Great ambiance for this restaurant! Inside is very nicely decorated. It's also very clean and organized and has nice lighting. It would be a nice place for a date or a celebration. Unfortunately, the food was pretty average to me. We had their chow mein and fried rice and both were only okay. To be honest, their fried rice was one of my least favorite Chinese fried rice I tried in Seattle. The amount of protein was very small too. Maybe just 2 oz of meat? The fried rice was decently salty and overcooked/moist. I liked the chow mein more. It was tasty and sweet and the prawns were soft and fresh. The service was good. The server answered any questions we had and the food didn't take long to make.

I want to preface this my saying, I bet it's better when you dine in. I ordered delivery and was a little disappointed by the dumplings coming in a paper container instead of plastic, like the fried rice I ordered. There was a loss of juice in the soup dumplings, flavor was still really good. The fried rice was really good as well. I was kinda sad I didn't receive any sauces with my order. No soy sauce, so chili oil. My overall delivery experience would have been better if the dumplings came in a better container. I would have appreciated the rice in the paper and the dumplings in plastic or a aluminum take out container and some sauces, because I had none at the place I had them delivered to.

More modernized Chinese food with American Chinese, Cantonese, and some Sichuanese dishes! I came here with a friend and they had a pretty good happy hour! We got their dandan noodles (happy hour), mala soup dumplings (happy hour), mixed basket soup dumplings, honey walnut shrimp, and honey roast duck. My favorite was absolutely the mala soup dumplings it totally slapped! Everything tasted really good so no complaints!

Atmosphere: a really pretty decorated little spot in downtown Seattle. Service: fast and friendly service Food: our group wanted to try just throw everything on the menu so we try to get a large variety of everything. The only thing that was out was the roasted duck and that was kind of disappointing, but we were able to get just about everything else we wanted. We really liked all the stirfry and the fish dish and all the buns. They even had vegetarian options, though I would not recommend the vegetarian options if I was not a vegetarian. The noodle dishes were all really yummy as well. I think the highlight was the fried fish dish.

ALTERNATIVE DTF (4 stars) - FOOD: Very good Chinese food - PRICES: Fair - SERVICE: ok but felt kind of rushed - AMBIANCE: Inside was a bit outdated and tacky for a Belltown restaurant I haven't hung out in Belltown in a long time but I always like eating in the area. When you want soup dumplings but you don't want to go to DTF, you can come here for the alternative. Their menu has more offerings and their soup dumplings pretty good. :: JUDGE THOSE DUMPLINGS :: Handmade dumplings! We all know any xlb will be compared to DTF dumplings. Soupiness - very soupy. Texture - close enough, thin, no hard top, and easy to puncture. Doe it have the 18 folds, probably not but good enough. Flavor - flavorful. PORK XLB - yum. yes, order. Tasted like typical XLB, not the best but good enough. WAGYU BEEF SOUP XLB - good. not sure what's so special. Reminded me of fine ground beef with some pieces of tendon or fat from time to time (that I was not a fan of). :: NOODZ :: Stir fry Chow Mein Noodles with Prawns - greasy but not overly greasy. good flavor. The prawns were de-pooped and cooked well. Flavor was tasty, I couldn't stop eating the noodles even when full. Until the next review....

I have frequented Chiho a couple of times but this is by far the best visit. Kaka our server was amazing with recommendations and the service. Right at open they were extremely busy so you know this place is good! They have everything you could want on a menu so there is something for everyone. What we got and the combination was so good, no notes. Get this exact order Crab rangoons (with real crab!!) Mixed basket of dumplings Roasted duck Typhoon friend prawns (crunchy garlic + onion heaven) Dan Dan noodles Green beans 100% will be back, portion sizes were amazing and made great leftovers!

There's so many restaurants in Belltown so I'm happy when I get to try a new one out. Came here with a friend and loved the inside. The coloration and decorations made for a good vibe. We were seated immediately. I decided to go with a Prawn Chow Mein dish. I was surprised by the large portion! The noodle part of the dish was great and very tasty. The prawns themselves were cooked well but were slightly lacking in flavor. Our server was quick and helpful and was knowledgeable in answering our questions. If you're in the area, it's worth checking out this place.

Came here as a group of 5, and we all thought it was pretty delicious. Our favourite, unanimously, was the crab soup dumplings. Staff were friendly too. Also we really liked the mapo tofu.

For me the food was just okay. We ordered the Black Truffle Wagyu Fried Rice, Mixed Basket Xiao Long Bao(7), Spicy wagyu beef noodle soup & Half Hong Kong Style Honey Roast Duck. I did like the Black Truffle Wagyu Fried Rice & Spicy wagyu beef noodle soup. Service was fast, ambience feels inviting and fun.

Stopped by for a late lunch on rainy Seattle day and it just hit the spot. They have many vegan options and it was all very yum.not too expensive either and we had lots of leftovers. Service was quick and friendly and ambience is cozy for a lunch or even dinner. I will return to try the vegan soup dumplings next time. Would highly recommend

Does this restaurant have a parking lot?

No, just street parking but on 3rd Av, you have several public parking lots.

Are dogs really allowed here? It's tagged that way, but it also says no outdoor seating and it's not clear from the pictures either.

I had my all time favorite dish at a Hong Kong café cuisine, gon caau ngau ho (乾炒牛河), aka beef chow fun, along with a childhood favorite drink, iced Horlicks. I liked how everything moved at a quick pace here and yet the staff were still friendly. The best part was that no one stopped by to ask how the food was while your mouth was full, because they already knew the food was good. The beef chow fun was just as good as the ones back home. It was savory and full of wok hei (iykyk). The bean sprouts were added at just the right time, so they were still a slightly crunchy. The sliced beef was tender too. If you like adding extra spice, be sure to try the crunchy chili sauce on the table. It was awesome, fragrant, spicy, and full of flavor. Just be careful not to choke on it, I did, and it wasn't fun. I hadn't had Horlicks in twenty years, and the first sip brought back so many memories. Be sure to stir it well and maybe wait until the ice melts a little, otherwise it may be slightly too sweet. My partner is a vegetarian. He looked through the entire menu and said there weren't many things he could order (listen, people, choose your future SO accordingly if you like sharing big meat dishes). He ended up ordering the curry vegetable rice and added a fried egg. He said the curry was delicious. I tried a bite of it and agreed. I think there may have some coconut milk in it because it was rich and creamy. The rice was a little too dry to my liking.
