    Green Dried Cooked String Beans
    just a.

Amazing food and quick service! Had such a good time with my friends and the price to food ratio is perfect. My favorite was the stir fried green beans, it was such a hit with the table. Great bang for your buck!

Chicken tasted really bad, stale, batter not cooked properly. Hard and rubbery. Gave me stomach ache. Worst chicken i have eaten Green Onion Pancakes not cooked well, battery

Place is often easily a hard 4 star... but today's order was rushed, dry, and literally burnt. Upset as it's almost inedible.

This place is the most authentic Sichuan Food we ever had, the consistency of the taste never changes. The Mandarin Spicy Fish is the best of the best! The dry cooked bean also very good and flavorful. Every time when we go back to Seattle, we always go to this place to have a meal! The food is amazing. The space is very small, but the food is so good!

This place is a gem of a restaurant being open on Lunar New Year. Although the kitchen was so busy pumping out take out and dine in orders, the staff was attentive, prompt, and very friendly. There's a home-y atmosphere where you know the food is gonna be good when you walk in. The food took a little while to come out because of how busy the kitchen was, but was well worth the wait. We ordered a huge variety of food and although I could have use more Sichuan spice, I was happy with the level of spice and flavor of each of the dishes. If I could recommend a few to try out: ma po dou fu, the green beans, chili fried tofu, and the boiled fish.

Taste: **** Presentation: ** Cleanness : ** Service: ** Ambiance : **** Cost: $$ This little restaurant hiding in the edge of ID serves incredible Chinese food. The taste is pretty authentic feeling like eating at home. The whole team is composed by uncles and aunties. Even tho I can tell they don't invest effort in cleanses , table and chairs are sticky with not well cleaned tablewares. However some of my friends feeling they are eating at home because of the welcoming service by the aunties. Do not expect high quality table service. But the ambiance is very nice and cozy. I see so many Togo orders came in during rush hour I guess because of the portion is big and price is average $2-3 dollars lower than other Chinese restaurants.

Hands down the best Chinese food in Seattle. Proof: I once ordered 3x Szechuan cold noodle to take with me on a work retreat in case I didn't like the food there. The noodles are perfectly al dente, swimming in a bath of spicy sauce. I'm getting hungry writing this. I used to be a regular here; the employees are very kind and quickly learned my order. Food is always ready fast whether dining in or taking it to go. I highly recommend sitting down to enjoy the space and have a cup of tea with your meal.

My food was spot on. So was my partners. The interior for sure needs more love and care, but we made it just fine. It only made getting a decent photo hard without the mess in the background. I'll probably just order To go next time. But hey, there is a small parking lot in front so that helps. I really appreciate their selection and how well they prepare the items. The flavors were well balanced. They also didn't over do the chilis in my boiled fish which always ends up being wasted. The vegetables were fresh and even came in a sauce that paired very well with the rice. I could have eaten the rice and veggies as a snack alone. Now I will say if you're looking for that ridiculous heat, it's not here, which is perfect for me.

This is my first time visiting the Seattle Sichuanese location. I've been to going to Redmond location, for many years. Dating back to my Microsoft days. It's always been a favorite of mine. I love their great authentic food. I am glad to see both locations offer the same quality.

A small and friendly restaurant with great Chinese food. I like the paintings on the walls! Miyazaki fans don't miss that! We came here at Saturday afternoon around 7, 1/3 of the tables were taken already. We had deep fried string beans, vegetarian mapo tofu and pepper chicken, all were so tasty! And everything served fast! Especially the string beans, it was full of wok hay (if you're Cantonese you'd know), highly recommended! Mapo tofu was tender and soft, it was savory yet not too spicy and numbing, good with a bowl of white rice. Pepper chicken has been always my go-to dish when going to a Sichuan restaurant. Chicken was perfect bite size and super crispy, I could just eat it as snack. Different from China, most of pepper chicken (and other Chinese meat dishes) in the States use boneless meat, it was convenient to eat for sure, but less fun to eat at some certain point. The price was decent and food portion was big, we were so full but still have enough food left for next meal! Overall, this is a good place and I'll definitely come back to try more dishes!

If I have a peanut allergy would this restaurant be accommodating to that in terms of making sure the food is safe to eat?

My guess would be no. But it never hurts to call and ask. Waitresses speak some English but kitchen staff does not. You'd have to trust that the waitresses understand your allergy and translate that to the kitchen staff accurately. Food is delicious… Read more

    Does this food have MSG?

If you eat Dorito's you eat MSG. MSG is not bad for you

Would it be hard to seat a group of 10? How is space and would the wait time be long if it is crowded? Trying to decide on a casual place for lunch

This shouldn't be difficult as they have 2 or 3 large round tables setup for large groups. Maybe call first

Since it is a small establishment, I am a bit hesitant to give it three stars, but it was underwhelming compared to what I had expected after reading rave reviews. The inside was very welcoming to me; it was homey, giving similar vibes to my grandma's home/kitchen. There is very limited seating. FOOD: The food is definitely fresh and authentic, but I think I just prefer stronger, bolder flavors. The food here was very light and had a sort of healthy taste to it? Pan Fried Dumplings (3.5/5) - The fried dumpling skin had a nice texture to it, and the filling was juicy. It was okay; I didn't have strong feelings about it. Pork and Chive Dumplings with Hot and Spicy Sauce (3/5) - From the name, I was expecting a stronger flavor. The sauce was on a milder, vinegary side, so I was rather disappointed. Xiao Long Bao (4/5) - Juicy and came out piping hot (as reflected by the steam blurring my photos of it). Probably my favorite thing from what we ordered. Would've paired nicely with some ginger, but I forgot to ask if that was available. Szechuan Beef Noodle with Soup (3/5) - A cleaner, slightly herbal type of broth compared to what I am used to. SERVICE: The person helping us was nice. I don't know if they were having an off day, but it took a really long time for us to receive our food, despite it not being busy. The prices and portions here are really reasonable. Note that they only take cash or Venmo payments. TLDR// Being transparent, I found this place to be a bit underwhelming, but maybe I came in with too high of expectations. I would still recommend trying it to see if it's your cup of tea. It's always worth supporting local businesses.

Our dining experience began with cold appetizers, including a mixed black fungus dish with a satisfying crunch and tangy vinegar flavor, alongside pickled lotus root vegetables with a garlicky and subtly spicy taste. For our main courses, we opted for the Deep Fried Fish Szechuan Style, which was filled with cod fish, had a lighter batter coating, and a pleasing crunch, but beware of its savory and fiery flavor, which intensifies after several bites. We also selected the Szechuan Hometown Tofu, which offered our taste buds a savory flavor, enhanced by chili sauce, a crunchy exterior, and a soft, silky interior. On the side, we ordered a bowl of steamed purple rice and white rice. This exceptional culinary experience combines the perfect balance of crunchiness, chili spice, garlicky freshness, and sweetness, rich flavors of Szechuan cuisine. The sweet and sour chicken was drowning in sauce even though we asked more than once for the sauce to be on the side. We liked the bell peppers and onions in the sauce. The chicken pieces were of decent size. I did not care for the sauce. The white rice was well made and fluffy. The rice was probably the best part of the dish. About an hour later, we ended up throwing up the food. A complete waste of $31 dollars (which is pricey for what was supposed to be a lunch special). Also, vegetable chow mein and chicken chow mein is the same price which we found out after we had paid. Lunch is pictured and mention to include soup BUT you only get soup if you dine in. The place looked clean the the people seemed friendly. We may give them one more chance bc of the friendly service.
