But we were both craving the brisket bowl, which serves the meat on top of their smoky jalapeño mac & cheese. It was very tasty! And actually very generous portions too. We were talking about it later and in future may just get one order and split it, because it was plenty for two. We had enough leftovers that we had a second dinner. We also tried their coleslaw, which was good, but nothing unique. The fellow who was doing all the work in the truck was named Brad, and he was very friendly and helpful. I had asked how spicy the mac & cheese was, and he kindly gave me a small taste of it to try. I'm a little bit wimpy when it comes to highly spiced food, but this was not overly spiced at all. Depending on when you go, there may or may not be street parking. When we went on a Sunday at 6pm, there was no problem. They are open every day from 11 to 8. And there are two picnic tables in front of the truck, in case you want to eat there. FYI, I don't remember seeing any beverages on the menu. Maybe they have a pitcher of water or something, I don't know. But you might want to check, and maybe bring a beverage with you. All in all, we really enjoyed our experience and the food. The counter staff are always friendly, and helpful in trying to make some decisions on what to order. My favorites include: the brisket, smoked chicken, pulled pork, mac-n-cheese, and an occasional salad. We often get our food to go, but when we've eaten in, there is generally plenty of space to sit, and if you sit outside, you can see the folks hard at work smoking the various meat.
