Tri Tip Dip and Chicken sandwich
David K.

While waiting for our connecting flight, we ate here for lunch. The place was clean, our waitress was friendly, and everything was efficient. However, the food was just ok. My wife ordered the chicken sandwich which was cold and smothered with BBQ sauce. I had the Tri Tip Dip (Toasted sourdough, shredded tri tip beef, provolone cheese, fried onions, horseradish mayo. Served with au jus for dipping). I like mezcal and ordered the pineapple mezcal margarita which I also thought was just ok.

While waiting to board our flight home, we stopped into Nanny's BBQ to grab a bite to eat. A nice full bar and counter seating. They also have regular seating with full table service. Our server, Evelyn, recommended the tri tip dip over the pork ribs. She was friendly, attentive, and courteous. Tri Tip Dip: Toasted sourdough, shredded tri tip beef, provolone cheese, onions, horseradish mayo. Served with au jus for dipping (3.75/5). The bread was cripsy on the edges. The sandwich was meaty and the horseradish mayo gave it a slight kick. The au jus was good. I know the menu said shredded but would have preferred sliced. Otherwise still a good sandwich. Wedge Salad w/added Smoked salmon. Also their cornbread with honey butter

Flying out of SeaTac after a business trip and needed to grab a bite to eat. This looked like a good place to dine in and relax before the flight. I was immediately sat and a nice waitress took my order. I opted to try their wedge salad with smoked salmon (additional charge) and a slice of their cornbread with honey butter. The salad was fine, but the smoked salmon definitely added to it. The cornbread was almost cake like and moist. The highlight was their honey butter (i believe it's house made), it was really nice and tasty. The waitress was very friendly and professional. Definitely worth it.

BBQ Pork Eggs Benedict

Excellent breakfast! Had the BBQ Pork Benedict, coffee, and House Bloody Mary. Service was even better! Kat was extremely friendly and attentive. Highly recommend during visits to SEA-TAC!

Dined in today before boarding our flight. We were quickly greeted and shown to a table where Quinn helped us. He remained attentive and friendly throughout our visit. We ordered naked wings, a spicy bbq rib plate, and a pulled pork bbq sandwich. The food was so delicious and the service was even better. We enjoyed our visit today and hope to come back soon!

Pulled pork on macaroni and cheese was $20 for a small portion.

Overall, not a good experience for my family of three. There is an iPad in front of the host desk for you to add your name to the waitlist. We added our name and at the time when we put our name in, it said the wait would be 5-15 minutes and that we would get a text at the phone number we provided when they were ready to seat us. Finally, when we had waited 30 minutes, I approached the host stand and found the host was seating people who had just walked up to the desk without putting their name in. When he got back to the host desk, I asked why he had seated them when we had been waiting 30 minutes. He apologized and sat us right away. Once seated, it took 7 minutes for our server to come greet us. At that point we ordered our drinks and meals. Drink order came out incorrectly. Food order came out incorrectly TWO TIMES. The check was inaccurate. The food was fine, but not for the price we paid. I got the macaroni and cheese with pulled pork on it... it was in a small bowl and cost $20. See picture. The food was just fine, not amazing but not bad either. For everything we dealt with and the price we paid, I'd recommend steering clear of this restaurant. There are so many other food options at the SEA airport better than this one that won't cause the headache we had.

Bartender Minh made some excellent espresso martinis, definitely check them out during your layover!

Minh & Kong were the highlight of our time in the new Concourse C. They were so warm, welcoming and kind to my Mom & took special care of us as well as never made us feel in the way. The music in the open area added to the atmosphere, the drinks were good & the food was pretty great. But, the only thing we'd return for would be the exceptional service we received from these spectacular humans. We're grateful for the way they brightened our day. Minh just shines! Any business is lucky to have them!!

Smoked wings

The wings were ice cold in the middle. Still left after two bites with a $32 bill. Lots of options around, I would skip this one.

Forgot my cornbread and chicken on my salad. All I wanted in the airport was a salad with chicken and I got screwed.

Located in…read morethe Central District, the food beautifully reflects the culture and creativity of the neighborhood. I was so excited to see Lao sausage on the menu, I knew we had to get that. The clams and mussels with Lao sausage were hands down my favorite dish - so savory, unique, and packed with flavor. I know it would be something my mom would have loved to try! The collard greens with neck bone meat were another standout. Every bite was unforgettable. The wait here is no joke, so I highly recommend making a reservation. I think we waited an hour and half to get seats for two, but worth it! We were fortunate enough to be seated after closing, and despite the long wait, the staff remained incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. Their hospitality made the experience even more special. So shoutout to the staff! The only dish that didn't wow me was the trout - it was a little mild and could've used a squeeze of lemon to brighten the flavors. But honestly, everything else was some of the best food I've had in a long time! And I am a real foodie. If you appreciate cultural fusion, Communion is an absolute must visit in Seattle!

Unfortunately, tonight's experience was extremely disappointing, specifically because of the service we received from Darlene. We tried the shrimp yakisoba in addition to our wings and mozzarella sticks and unfortunately did not like the flavor of the yakisoba. The frustrating part is that Darlene only asked us one time if everything was okay--and she didn't even come to our table. She asked while checking the thermostat, and at that point we had only eaten our wings and some mozzarella sticks. We had not even tried the yakisoba yet. We waited approximately 15 minutes for her to come back and check on us, but she never did. I eventually went to the counter to get a box. Since she never came back to our table, we also went to the counter to pay, which is different from our previous visits where we were checked out at the table. We explained to Darlene that we didn't enjoy the yakisoba because of the flavor. Instead of simply acknowledging the feedback, she responded rudely that we needed to tell her when she checked on us so it could have been fixed. That was frustrating because she never checked on us after we actually tried the food. How were we supposed to tell her we didn't like something when we hadn't even tried it yet? Then, when I went to tap my phone to pay, Darlene said, "But you're not paying for it, so it doesn't matter." I told her she was being rude, and rather than de-escalating the situation, she began arguing with me and made it seem like we were somehow at fault for not saying anything during the first time she asked. We asked to speak with a manager, and Darlene told us that she was the manager. We weren't upset simply because we didn't like a dish. We understand that not every menu item is going to be everyone's taste. What we expected was basic customer service and an opportunity to actually communicate our concerns. Instead, we were blamed for not reporting an issue that we literally hadn't discovered yet, followed by a rude response when we attempted to explain it. The wings are still excellent, and we've had good experiences here before, which is why tonight was particularly disappointing. Unfortunately, Darlene's handling of the situation left a much worse impression than the food itself.

Good deal as I brought 4 wings home with me. I got the lemon pepper seasoning and it was perfect, not really wet but very crispy and tangy. The fries were actually really good too, thin and crispy, not just an after thought. I get what people say about the blue cheese. It's not a dressing or dip really. Hard to tell what to do with it. Press the blue cheese crumbles against the chicken. With my leftover wings at home I used my own blue cheese dressing to dip. But really the wings are so flavorful on their own, they don't need dip. We sat in a booth, the inside was so cool, clean and the server was so chill. We knew we're going to order fries and wings. The only qualm I had was with the loaded wings was that they stayed "blue cheese" not blue cheese dressing or sauce. We were expecting crumbles or something along that nature. The melted cheese and blue cheese sauce made it very wet and hard eat... you had to dig... don't get me wrong it was still good. Just misleading. The wings were good they do tell you that it's going to be a wait and they are small. And they are. So don't be surprised, make sure you order more or you will be hungry. I would go back! It was fun And the wings were yummy!

Some of the best wings in Seattle. I had a snack size (5pc) of the original (naked) wings. Juicy and perfectly fried. I think the best way to judge any wing is how good they are without any sauce. I'll try some more flavors later. Good banh mi. The bread was excellent. However, the "grilled pork" option was puzzling. Tasted good, but was more like a char siu than a traditional lemongrass grilled pork. There wasn't any char-grilled flavor. It was still good though. Nice crisp crust of the bread without being too sturdy, if you know what I mean. Lots of other stuff on the menu I want to try. I didn't go for any of their house-made drinks. But I'll at least try a lemonade next time. Very pleasant and ample seating. A few outdoor picnic style tables and some nice tables inside with big windows. It's a nice space. My only gripe is the usual one. Seattle prices. The wings plus banh mi and a soda came to $30.50 with tax and tip. (I did have leftovers for later, so I did get a meal and a half out of it). The tipping options START at 20% on their point-of-sale (POS) tablet. There's probably a custom option, but I didn't bother since I normally tip 20% anyway. But it's a little pushy to start your tipping options at what is usually the upper limit for most people. This place is solid. I'm sure it's a godsend for tenants in the nearby apartments. And being centrally located, it's really not hard to get to. Next time your going to or from the eastside via I-90 bridge...go a few extra blocks north and get your grub on here.
