Welp this is wagyu factory now which I'll try sometime too but we went for an early friendsgiving and unfortunately they aren't really designed to accommodate large groups. We had to crowd around the table, slowly cook the meat, and pass a little snippet around our table of 10ish to the point where by the time our time limit came, everyone could still ear. Everything tasted good though and even though it was busy they acrually did let us stay an extra 30 min read more

Celebrated my partners bday dinner here and I was not disappointed! The vibe and experience was amazing. The food was delicious too! We had the angus set, the only thing I'm a little disappointed is the portion. It might seem a lot on the video or picture but a lot of them were bite size so they go by pretty fast. Enough for 2 people but definitely not more than that. But overall this was a fun experience! read more

My brother took me here when I was visiting Washington! He said it was his favorite place and loved coming here for his birthday. The meat was SO tasty - We couldn't stop ordering the wagyu. After what we thought was our last plate, we ordered one more.. then ordered one more! LOL It was just irresistible! The service was fast, and there was plenty of seating when we arrived for early dinner. I was told they had changed management, so would have to definitely check it out the next time I've ever back up here! read more

We came in on a Saturday evening and had such a great experience! Definitely recommend making a reservation, as this place gets busy and for good reason. It's an all-you-can-eat with a coal grill, and you get 90 minutes once you're seated, so come hungry and ready to order. The staff was excellent super friendly, helpful, and quick with taking orders, clearing dishes, and swapping out the grill without us ever having to ask. For just $5 more, the premium menu is 100% worth it especially for the wagyu. Everything we tried was delicious, but our favorites were the wagyu cubes and the lollipop lamb chops. On top of that, they offer a salad bar, fruit/dessert, and a sauce station to round out the meal. The atmosphere was another highlight: modern, clean, and comfortable, which made the experience even better. The only downside is the time limit, but honestly, 90 minutes was plenty for us to enjoy everything. Overall, we loved our visit and will definitely be coming back! read more

Second time for me but my boyfriend's first -- and he LOVED it! The place is sooo pretty inside and has such a chill vibe, perfect for a date night. We came on a Friday around 4-5 PM and got seated right away, no waitlist Service was amazing, everyone was super friendly. I also love that they have their own sauce bar and their miso soup?? SO good -- like I could honestly drink that every day. Overall such a fun, cozy spot -- definitely coming back again soon!! read more

First time in Niku Feast. We visited this place long time ago but was called Niku Niku. It's a new concept now, buffet. We paid extra $5 to get the wagyu selection. I enjoyed most of it, specially the rib eye, wagyu squares, beef tongue, lamp chops, duck breast and beef fingers. I did not like the beef brisket only because they are thinly sliced meat. Over all meat selection is great. The buffet comes with rice, soap and sides like potato salad, seaweed salad, kimchi, and others. Service is good. He came back to check on us often in case we had more meat orders. Very pretty restaurant. Enjoyed this place a lot. Very popular so make your reservation. read more

2nd time here and they added a self serve soft serve machine which is a major plus. There are more sauces now and a $5 premium upgrade to get wagyu. We got here at 6 pm and seated right away on a weekday. It was getting busy when we left. The service was quick and they made sure we got what we wanted very quickly. The meat quality was premium and it is actually charcoal flamed so it can get super hot and the fire can flare up with the fattier meats. I think the hot dishes you can order are less than before but the fries are pretty good. Even without the $5 upgrade I think it's worth coming here. I would definitely come back if I was craving meat. read more

Such an AMAZING, DELICOUS, meal. I have never had such good quality meats at a great ayce price. This is a great spot in north seattle. The Yelp Waitlist was great so we could join early. The staff were very kind and attentive too, always asking if we wanted to order more frequently cause our trays are almost empty. Great food, great service, overall need to come back again asap. Overall: A+ // 6 stars Extremely fascinating hidden gem Japanese barbeque spot for only $35 AYCE with a $5 supplement for premium cuts such as wagyu and duck breast. I am so throughly impressed by this spot given that all their meat has a beautiful redness with glistening marbling, highlight the quality and freshness of their meat, which is particularly outstanding given that its also all you can eat. We chose to opt out of the supplement as all of their regular cuts were already great enough; this also included beef tongue, which was sliced so thinly that we can cook nice and tenderly. In addition to the meats, they have a copious amount of sauces and herb pairings to help elevate the flavor of the beef, from teriyaki to salted onion. I also enjoyed the expansive snack menu from classic comforts like french fries to Japanese-comforts like takoyaki. In addition, there was Japanese salads, a rice bar with gyudon and curry, and an appetizer bar with pickled cucumber, seaweed salad, potato salad, fresh fruits, and ice cream -- everything needed for a complete meal and to help balance the meat. This is one of the most fulfilling meals I've had in a minute; highly recommend. Food: +2 Presentation: E Price: +1 Atmosphere: +1 Service: E Menu: +2 Insta/Yelp/Beli/TikTok: @amei_eats read more

TLDR: tried both the wagyu and regular. You can order the regular meats when you upgrade. Personally think the Wagyu isn't any better than the regular. Besides the AYCE, the soft serve and the gyudon are DELICIOUS sides at the self serve bar. No extra charge for it either. Less variations for making your own sauce compared to other kbbq or hot pot places. They are very strict on the 90 min time limit to order meats so I suggest ordering the bulk in the beginning ! The seats are comfortable and great for big groups. Grills are a little small but you can turn up the heat to cook stuff faster. The restaurant is inside of Asian Family Market and there are claw machines right when you walk in. They definitely don't let you win until a certain # of plays but it's fun of you're in it for the thrill and not really the prize read more

We've been here a few times with our family and we really enjoy it! The few times we've been here, it's always been really busy so I would recommend making a reservation, especially on the weekends! It's inside the Asian Market Plaza on the right side before you enter the actual super market. We love that it's all you can eat and has a good variety of meat option and side dishes. The only thing was that since they get pretty busy, there's always a bit of a wait to get your next order so definitely try to order sooner than later! read more

Located inside a small strip mall with Asian Family Market right next to it; Niku Feast Yakiniku is located right on Aurora Ave with plenty of parking. When you enter, you get nice dim lighting with upbeat music. Inside has plenty of seating with grills at each table. The staff was super friendly and made sure to check on us every so often so that we could order more meats. With your All You Can Eat comes access to a side dish bar as well as a section with rice, Beef (Gyu Don), and Miso Soup. At $35.95 per person you get the regular AYCE menu with Appetizers and meats and for $5 more per person, you get the Premium Upgrade with Wagyu options as well as a few other meats not included on the regular menu. Our favorite items were definitely the Beef Tongue Root and the Wagyu Toro. The meats were very tender and flavorful when cooking them on the grill. For the most part, we didn't use the dipping sauces. Definitely planning on coming back again because everything was worth it. read more

I've been wanting to come here forever and I can finally say that it is absolutely worth it!! They have AYCE japanese bbq for ~$40pp, and it's popular for a reason. We made a reservation ahead of time which was definitely the move, as it was quite packed here on a Tuesday night. We chose to get the premium option for $5pp more and I would definitely recommend it. You get wagyu cuts of everything, all of which have such amazing quality. Our favorites were the wagyu cube, wagyu toro, and beef finger meat. They also have plenty of sauces and sides and dessert too! They limit dining to 90 minutes, which felt like just the right amount of time if not slightly less. I will definitely be back! read more

It was just okay. the yakiniku quality isn't what it used to be back when it was Niku Niku. Meat was decent but not super fresh or flavorful -- even the wagyu was just meh. It is AYCE, so you get quantity, but the quality doesn't quite match. The waitlist system is long and kind of confusing. Also noticed a bit of a gas taste on some meats -- probably because they use gas to imitate charcoal grilling, which isn't great. The self-serve bar is average, nothing special. Staff was friendly and attentive. Dark and warm vibe. read more

My friends go to this place for the AYCE grilling and they took me recently. We went on a Wednesday evening and they made a reservation for 6p. It was pretty busy for a weeknight. We got seated and put in our first meat order. There is a time limit to eat (but as I write this I can't remember if it was 90 minutes or two hours) but that wasn't an issue because we ate a lot and were stuffed at the end. While we waited for the first round of meat, check out the salad bar, which also has japanese curry, miso soup, white rice and a bunch of sides like kimchi! Probably wise not to fill up on the salad bar but it was my first time so i wanted to try a little bit of everything! The curry was pretty good! For the meats, we tried a little bit of everything but my favorites were the finger meat and the karubi so we got multiple orders of those in future rounds. The server came by frequently to take orders from us - it was so quick and efficient! The meat was good quality and the service was great and the space is nice and clean. It was a fun experience and i would definitely go back if i felt like eating a lot of meat and getting my iron and protein levels up! It's located inside of the building with Asian Family Market so plenty of parking in the shopping plaza. Also they have a soft serve machine so you can get ice cream for dessert! read more

GOOD! It was my first time at NIKU! The meat definitely looked very fresh and the quality was great. I had heard that the quality had gone down, but honestly, it still seemed good to me. I would definitely recommend going for their salt and pepper cuts rather than the marinated beef because the marinated ones burn faster and are a bit saltier. Plus, with the salt and pepper version, you can use their dipping sauce, which is a nice bonus. If you get tired of the meat, they also have a big pot of unlimited curry, rice, and miso soup. And a self serve ice cream machine!!!! I'd love to try that next time since I was way too full from all the meat this time around. 10.5.25: Went there as a group of 6 and we had a great time :) we all opted for the premium experience. Highlights were the Wagyu cubes and brisket for sure! The NY strip was also quite good. In terms of the salad and sauce bar, the miso soup, curry and gyu don was also quite good. We also ordered corn cheese, as well as the soft tofu appetizer. And surprisingly super yummy potato salad too? And the cucumber salad and kimchi were pretty on point. The watermelon was also good?? The self serve vanilla soft serve was also really good too. Service was on point. Come with crazy appetite this place is super good I'll be back. read more

Love this place!! Came here on a Friday at opening and enjoyed the ambiance and food. The AYCE menu is well worth the price for the quality of meats you get. We decided to add the $5 upgrade to premium meats over the regular $35 price. The service is great since they are quick to take your order and are pretty attentive with changing out your grill. The self serve side dishes are also not bad. The kimchi and zucchini salad is a great palate cleanser to the grilled meats. When you're finished with the meats, they have a self service soft serve ice cream machine that you can take a cone to go as you walk out. You also don't smell as much after eating compared to korean bbq. read more

We went here last night to celebrate a milestone birthday with family. We were seated in a sort of private table for 8, even if we were 5 only. There's a high wall that separated it from a spacious main hall that' has soaring ceilings. Each table is separated by booths fitted with barbecue grills in the middle of each table. It's an all you can eat restaurant, where you order different cuts of protein, mostly sliced meats. For $35 pp, you can have meats brought to your table as you cook and consume it. It includes appetizers and a small salad/soup buffet, soft serve ice cream and sauces. For an additional $5 upgrade, you can have "wagyu" options. This pricing structure is definitely a great value that I think cannot be beat by any other restaurant. I hope they don't increase it anytime in the future. The meat cuts are pretty good, tender and offer many different flavor---ribeyes, tongue, Wagyu , pork belly, shrimp---experiences. Generally, they are not marinated, so a simple dusting of Himalayan salt and pepper, with the grill flavor should do the trick. The finger steaks, marinated, were really good. All the appetizers were tasty. The salad bar was ample and the potato salad delicious. Ambience is perfect. The interior decor is sparse, modern and temperature well controlled and comfortable, despite numerous BBQ grills on every table. The server was efficient, quick paced and friendly enough. We've been here before, before it turned into an all you can eat. It's located just outside of the Asian supermarket. It's handicap accessible, with ample parking outside. I would have easily rated this a 5 star if it were not for a major faux pas by management. This was a milestone birthday. We called a week earlier so that we can decorate our table with balloons and decorations. We wanted to surprise the celebrant. Unfortunately, because of lack of communication with their management team, they called the celebrant and spilled our surprise! We had specifically told them that we wanted it to be a surprise. We have no idea what they were thinking! So of course it ended up not being a surprise. After we talked to the manager, he didn't offer any apology, He was the one who called the celebrant! He simply said he had a miscommunication with his assistant. What should have been a perfect celebration, wasn't perfect. The food was great, but an important message for the manager of the restaurant---"listen, empathize, then apologize." He must have missed the memo. read more

Good service. The turnaround time for next set of meat plates were pretty quick. They didn't limit how much to order at once but they will charge (sign in front) if you don't finish all your meat. The cost of this all you can eat yakiniku place is a steal. It costed about $34.95 per person if you want to get the premium upgrade it'll cost $5 more. However, you get a variety of different meats here that you can't find at other yakiniku places like the duck breast which was so good. We went here on Tuesday and had a reservation, but had to wait 10 mins more for tables to be cleaned. When we sat down and ordered the service here is very quick, attentive, and they kept checking to see if we wanted to get more meat in a timely manner. My favorite Japanese AYCE spot! $32 for the base price AYCE which includes a lot of good meat options (around 10?), appetizers, and the buffet bar. For $5 extra you can upgrade to premium which has wagyu options, lamb, and more. My husband and I tried the premium option and loved it! Our favorite meats were the karubi, marinated wagyu cubes, and duck breast. From the appetizers, the takoyaki and chicken karaage are great! The buffet bar has sauces, cold salad selections, fruit, soups, and curry. Don't skip the potato salad and the cucumber salad, they're so good! There's also soft serve for dessert. Service was excellent, always checking to see if we need anything and the food came out very quick. Very clean and nice ambiance inside. You can make reservations for parties of 4 of more or join the Yelp waitlist ahead of time (highly recommend). Enjoy! read more

This is our first time here. The decor is modern and seating for our large group was comfortable. It is a AYCE only restaurant. We tried the standard style and not the premium as we have lots of kids. The kid's rate was based on height and not actual age. We had fun trying all of the beef cuts and some shrimp. Except the tongue, all of them were pretty tasty. It was nice to have a little self serve bar with fruits and sauces. We also enjoyed the soft serve at the end. My kid wants me to share with everyone that it was real ice cream and not frozen yogurt. We had a great time. The only thing to watch is that they are very straight with the 90 min limit. They would come by around 70 min in to get your last order. The beef was decent for an AYCE restaurant. You can't compare to stand alone Japanese BBQ places. It was a fun experience for us. read more

Tried to get in once and the wait was too long. Tried again on the list off Yelp. Said it was 2 hours, and we got the "table's ready" notification after 90 minutes. Got there and then waited about 15 minutes. Nice room, large space. Tables are deep. If you're short, you're on the edge of your bench seat so you can cook your meal! Use your coat as a pillow. Server explained the process, although my dining partner had been here several times. We ordered our meats and drinks (no wine, btw) and went to the fixings bar for some veggies and sauces. The veggies were on the slim side, which surprised me. Sauces were good. Server was quick to bring out meats, forgot drinks repeatedly until halfway through the meal. Room temp beer was authentic. Cooking was fun, but I found the cuts of meat either fatty or chewy. Chicken was decent, as was the duck. It is an AYCE restaurant, so I appreciate the cost component there. Glad I went; not sure I need to go back any time soon. read more

I went to Niku Niku before they rebranded to Niku Feast, and I am SUCH a fan of the new AYCE business model. It feels like a totally elevated experience. Definitely consider doing the +$5 for the premium meats; it's so worth it for the extra cuts. We made a reservation but the table before us was running late, so we spent some time walking around the other stores in the plaza. We stopped by the sides bar while we waited for our meats. I thought the gyudon was really great, but the miso soup was a little too salty. I returned a bunch to pick up lettuce for making wraps with my meat. Of the BBQ meats, my favorites were the Finger Meat, the Wagyu Toro, and the Beef Tongue. I felt like the brisket was surprisingly hard to cook on the metal grill since it kept sticking, so thicker meats were best. You have to use the salt and pepper on the side of the table to season the meats, so make sure to grind those out ahead of time. They have a 90 minute limit, which makes sense, but we felt pretty rushed. My biggest qualm is that we only got one grill for a table with 7 people. It would have been way better if we had two grills. We left full, thankfully! I'd definitely come back, I enjoyed yakiniku way more than AYCE kbbq or hot pot :) read more

I've been here before it was AYCE so had lower expectations, but I should've known better than to question Niku! Meat quality and service are both still exceptional here, hence the long wait times! Price per person is $34.95 for all you can eat, which isn't bad at all, considering you get quality meats and open side dish bar with hot options such as miso soup and Japanese curry. I recommend upgrading to the premium selections for additional $5 per person, which gets you wagyu options that are definitely worth every dollar! Hot tip: set a reminder on Yelp to alert you when it's time to get on the waitlist, especially on the weekends around dinner time. Really good quality for meat for an ayce. Love the marbling of the wagyu. Service is great! We did come at an off time so there's that but I see that it can get busy at times. Servers were always checking up on us and refilling our drinks. Restaurant is inside the Asian Grocery market but the restaurant itself looks very modern. ACYE bbq in Seattle is not hard to come by but the combination of speed, service, and quality at the right price is, and this establishment meets the mark. I think a group of 4 is perfect. Even if you can order larger quantities of the meat you're asking for, the grill is only so big so more people around a single grill might be tough. Perhaps it was the luck of our seating being next to the kitchen but the waiter was so quick to take our next order as soon as they noticed the last of our meats were being cooked. You certainly didn't have to sit waiting to flag a waiter down or sit wishing there was a button like the korean restaurants. Parking was very easy given Niku is in a lot that hosts a supermarket. Meat quality was great and if you like Wagyu a nominal upcharge can get you the special meats. Our group opted not to and we still had a wonderful time. Personally I think the finger meat might be the most skipped due to the picture on the menu but it was my favorite pick. Ask about the different marinades since particular meats have multiple marinades. Ribeye steak is very thin so don't feel like you'll get a huge 1.5 inch cut and not be able to finish it. It's very manageable. read more

Great food and solid value at $35/person for regular AYCE or $40 for the premium upgrade. We've been here about 10 times, even before the switch from Niku Niku - service has always been amazing. They get busy during dinner, so definitely make a reservation on weekends, although we've always used the same-day waitlist on Yelp successfully. The self-serve bar is small but offers a nice selection. My only gripe is the glass dispensers for sauces - the leaky faucet isn't the most user-friendly, especially when they run low. Restrooms are shared with other businesses in the building, and they're a bit old and not always the cleanest. Perfect spot for lunch or dinner with small or large groups. Nice ambience with chill vibes, though it can get loud when it's packed. For the area, this is a great restaurant - and honestly, I'm thankful it's not in a location like Capitol Hill or downtown. We've been here twice, and truly enjoyed our experiences. It's one of my top barbecue places. Although there isn't a huge list of meat to choose from, the meats they do have are of great quality. We always do the Premium, so that we can have the wagyu meat. Both times, they were out of the beef tongue on the premium menu. Our favorites are the wagyu toro and wagyu cubes. We don't care too much for their appetizers. The price went up about $5 since we last went, but still not to bad of a deal. Good thing it's not cheaper, or I'd be there too often. -Join waitlist on Yelp is highly recommend -It's best to have a party of less than 4 in one table with one grill in 90 mins on the clock. Yes, they do time you and ask you for last call and turn off the burner. Party of 2 is most ideal IMO. -It's all you can eat within 90mins. The grill selection is pretty good and quality. There is a condiment and snacks/sides bar available. My favorite meat selections are pork jowl and duck breast, along with some beef cuts. Drinks are extra. -Ventilation is pretty good compared to other hot pot or grill restaurants. -Service was friendly, attentive and quick. It's fun to go there to eat but I don't think it will be a restaurant of choice to drink and chat with friends and family over dinner because you are so busy cooking without burning your food and eating and ordering and getting things from the bar. We gave another go since Niku Niku has turned into AYCE no Feast. The wait list was so confusing. We check Yelp and joined the waitlist 30 mins after opening hours. When we showed up 2/3 of the tables were empty but the servers informed us that we indeed had to wait 105 mins. So we did...and we sat down after 105 min wait and ordered premium option but the tongue root was sold out already...it was only around 2 hrs after opening but one of the premium option is sold out. This is one of the only AYCE yakinikus in seattle -- they recently started doing AYCE. The meat quality is really great. You can tell because they don't over season their meat and let you dip it in sauce to your taste. The wagyu selection for only $5 more is worth it. In addition to the menu, there's also a bar of sauces and sides/vegetables that is included with the AYCE. Also, they serve the orders really fast so you definitely aren't getting your AYCE time limit ripped off. They were responsive whenever we wanted to put in another order too. The interior of this place is really fancy too. You can really tell that they didn't used to be AYCE but rather a fancier high quality restaurant. The quality has been kept up too! read more

I was really disappointed with my experience at Niku this time. The restaurant wasn't overwhelmingly busy, but two servers were very disrespectful to our table - and on top of that, we were even overcharged by about $60. One of them walked over and very casually threw out a "last call," without explaining how many minutes were left or checking whether we wanted to order anything else. Everyone at our table was caught off guard. It felt like we were being rushed to finish and pushed out, which made things really awkward and gave us a sense of being treated differently from other guests. If the goal was to manage the floor or control timing, the very least they could've done was explain it clearly: something like "You have X minutes left for last orders" or "We close at X time," instead of dropping one vague line and walking away, leaving guests to guess what's going on. When guests feel respected and in a good mood, we naturally order more and tip better. But when the attitude is poor and we feel rushed, it doesn't matter that the extra money isn't going directly into those servers' pockets - it just makes people not want to come back at all. read more

I love ayce and my friends decided to get the premium so we could get the wagyu options! ayce is about $32 and the premium upgrade is an extra $5. I remember getting three rounds amongst the four of us and it was really satisfying! I really liked how there was a side bar with kimchi, seaweed salad, rice, sauces, etc. The meat itself was yummy and we also got appetizers like takoyaki and karage that were good too!! Overall I think it's a solid place if you're craving meat and ayce bbq. It did come out to $50/person which I thought was a bit pricey but also similar to most places. read more
