The moment you walk in, you'll be greeted with the friendliest and most welcoming people. The set up of the place is so different from any other kbbq restaurant I've been to. The food was amazing! The meat is amazing quality and their side dishes were delicious.

It was my first time trying grilled intestines like this, and I was honestly a little worried it might have a strong smell, but they cleaned and prepared it really well. When the edges get slightly crispy and charred, it smells amazing, while the inside still stays soft and chewy. It tastes really good with grilled garlic. The mushrooms were also really good after soaking up all the meat juices from the grill. The yukhoe was easier to eat than I expected too -- once mixed with the egg yolk, the texture became really smooth and rich without feeling too heavy. The atmosphere of the restaurant also felt really cozy, kind of like those small Korean restaurants in K-dramas. The lighting was nice and it wasn't too loud, so it was a good place to slowly eat and chat with friends at night.

This place is a godsend for late-night munchies. Amazing food, friendly service, and open extremely late - what more could you ask for? The bulgogi was a large portion and was tender and umami without being too sweet. The soybean soup could have used a bit more flavor, but I appreciated it being packed with tofu, zucchini, and other extras. Banchan was good, and I liked the option of having purple rice! Would save this spot for a late-night feast. The location is a bit tucked away. Interior is very cozy but clean.

The casserole was so disappointing. When we got it, the bottom seemed burnt so it tasted slightly burnt every bite. The ingredients look fresh layered on top, but the bottom was burnt. So I'm pretty sure they heated it up before bringing it to the table. The flavor was not there. It was pretty bland. We like the cold buckwheat soup. It was very refreshing. The chicken was also good. I have mixed feelings about this place. Maybe next time I should try a different casserole and asked them to not turn the heat on so high preparing it to bring to our table.

We were there a bit later, just before 8 p.m. on a Monday, and easily got a table right away. I didn't want too much food - at my age I've learned my eyes and stomach are rarely on the same page - but I definitely wanted some brisket...as an amateur smoker I appreciate how much work goes into beef brisket so always try it when I see it on a menu. So I went with the Happy Hour Caesar Salad & Brisket. For $8.50 it was a great value. The fat of the brisket was rendered PERFECTLY. My wife wanted the baked potato but allegedly someone came earlier and bought TWELVE and cleaned them out. Disappointing! But the two street tacos she got off the Happy Hour menu were tasty. My teenager decided to lean in and get the brisket entree. Fries and Mac & cheese as the sides with cornbread. He added some of his brisket to the Mac & cheese and loved it. Fries were crispy (double fried? Or battered?) but didn't get finished - too much food! I had a couple of beers that were good. The tap listing was available on a screen. Service was well-above average. Very friendly. I can imagine this place getting busy during peak hours but it's small enough that they likely can keep up. I doubt we'll be back. We are from out of town and while we come to the Seattle area often I like to try new places whenever possible. But we were very happy with how tonight went. 4.5/5.0 but it won't let me do a halfstar. Give it a try. This isn't a chain restaurant! We were happy to support this one.

Parking lot was packed- but there was one high-top table when we walked in. We grabbed it. Loud bar/pub atmosphere- I'm sure sporting events are fun here. Big bar on one side and 'family' seating on the other with warnings for the under 21's to not cross the border. I got the half rack of ribs and my partner got the pulled chicken sandwich. Also beers. The food arrived fast: nice thing about bbq is that it has to be already prepared so they just have to plate it. The half rack was huge. 6 big ribs, Cesar salad and fries were my sides. So much food. Glad I got the salad. I didn't try the pulled chicken but she got the Mac and cheese as a side and that was really good. Haven't had decent restaurant Mac and cheese in a while. I'd like to know what they make in-house here. The fries felt bought-in...the salad was...good but...uniform? Like maybe out of a bag? I'm prepared to be wrong about that. The barbecue was good. The ' spicy' sauce was sweet and not vey spicy and the 'sweet' sauce was kind of boring: bbq sauces need work. Add a mustard based sauce? All in all we loved it and will definitely go back. $75 all in with tip for two people.

So even though the platter was twice as expensive as the sandwich/side combos I normally get here, you're essentially also getting 2+ meals out of a single item. The pork ribs and sliced brisket were sooo good w their spicy bbq sauce and corn bread. The collard greens were aight. I'd prob stick to their sweet potato fries or hush puppies next time. While I haven't been to the original in Korea, the LA spots are my go-to favorites, so I'm comparing this new Lynnwood location to that experience. The interior here is great--open, inviting, and perfect for first-timers. The service was excellent, and like the LA locations, they handle the grilling for you (a premium touch you don't always find at local KBBQ spots). The menu and pricing are very similar to what you'd expect from the brand. I did notice a slight dip in food quality compared to LA. The meat there tends to be leaner, the seasoning is a bit more refined, and they are much more proactive about swapping out the grill plate between different cuts of meat. That said, chain standards are usually highest in LA, so that's a tough comparison. Overall, it's still a fantastic experience. If you're a first-timer or comparing it to other options in the Lynnwood area, I definitely recommend giving Baekjeong a try!

After ordering a beer/soju tower, our server asked for our IDs, which is completely understandable. However, she proceeded to examine them for an uncomfortably long time while repeatedly looking back and forth between my face, my ID, and my sister. She then told me I "don't really look like" my ID photo because my hair is different and even commented that my ID looked more like my sister than me. We're twins! At one point she had both of our IDs side-by-side comparing them while continuing to question things. I finally told her that while I understand validating IDs, the interaction was making me feel like the legitimacy of my ID was being questioned. What made it even more awkward was her repeatedly commenting that the tower we ordered was "a lot of beer," which honestly felt judgmental and unnecessary. We are clearly adults, presented valid IDs, and were simply ordering something from the menu. That said, the actual food was delicious. The BBQ combo we ordered was excellent, the sides were plentiful, and overall the meal itself was really enjoyable. It also seemed like the server realized the interaction had gone poorly because she later brought us complimentary soup and dessert, which we did appreciate. We still tipped well because we understand serving isn't easy and wanted to be fair. But honestly, the initial interaction left such an uncomfortable impression that if I returned and saw the same server again, I'd probably immediately feel uneasy. There's absolutely a professional way to verify IDs without making customers feel scrutinized or subtly accused of fraud.

One day, lightning struck a tree, causing a massive forest fire that killed many animals. Our ancestors then discovered that cooked meat tasted much better than raw meat. This is why roast meat has always been regarded as an important part of the human diet. Today I gathered with friends and chose this barbecue restaurant. It's located north of Redmond, with a prominent sign and plenty of parking. Ambiance: The decor is creative, but it feels quite contradictory. Barbecue is inherently a very "Jianghu" (lively, rough-and-tumble) kind of thing, yet the restaurant leans toward an artistic, literary style. When I used to run my own restaurant, I followed a principle: avoid anything unrelated to the core dining experience. Seeing many books on the shelves here, I understand they're trying to bridge Jianghu and artistry -- but it clearly feels out of place. That said, the place is very clean, and the stickers/decorations are festive. Service: My high rating for this restaurant is largely based on the service. After we sat down, we were given free appetizers -- braised peanuts, which tasted great. The staff training is very professional, whether it's taking orders, making recommendations, attending to us during the meal, or checking on tables and refilling water. All excellent. Taste: Jianghu-style cuisine is characterized by boldness, satisfaction, and not sweating the small details. We ordered spicy hot pot (Malatang), spicy hot pot skewers, grilled beef, lamb, chicken gizzards, oysters, and many other items. First, the Malatang and spicy skewers tasted almost identical, so it felt like eating the same thing. The grilled skewers were just average -- neither good nor bad. The oysters were very tasty. However, the shrimp in the spicy skewers were very unfresh, which was disappointing. "By the way, the prices at 'Friendship Skewers' are anything but friendly -- I think it's quite overpriced overall."
