This is the new location in Lynnwood at Alderwood Plaza, and there's generally plenty of parking available within walking distance. I've visited this location twice in the past few months since they opened and had two very different experiences. First visit: It was a party of three, and we added our name to the waitlist. We were called to order at the register within about 15-20 minutes, which wasn't bad considering it was lunchtime and pretty busy. After ordering and paying, we took our number and found a table. The staff was attentive and even checked in to see if we needed refills on the pickled radish. Second visit: This experience felt like a complete 180. We came during dinner with a larger party of six (including a baby), so we expected a longer wait--which was totally fine. However, the process was very different this time. After our name was called, we were seated right away and told someone would come take our order. After about 10 minutes with no one stopping by, we had to go up and ask. They apologized and said they had forgotten, then came over to take our order. Food timing was also inconsistent. Some dishes--like the fried items and stir-fried jajangmyeon (black noodles)--came out quickly, while one of my friend's meat jajangmyeon arrived much later, after most of us had already finished eating. It's hard to say if the difference was due to how busy it was, since both visits were during peak hours. Food & ambiance: Despite the service issues on the second visit, the food portions were generous and the quality was great. The ambiance leans more toward a fast-casual style--order, eat, and go--rather than a relaxed, full sit-down dining experience. Overall: Even with the inconsistent service, I still enjoy the food and would come back. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that it may have been an off day or newer staff still getting up to speed. TL;DR: Great food and portions, but service can be inconsistent depending on the visit. Worth coming back for the food--just be prepared for possible hiccups during peak times.

First time for us to try this restaurant. Happy that this restaurant specializes more with noodles, as opposed to Korean BBQ. Not that I don't love that, but it's great to have a different option. So the menu is a bit limited, but what they do here is really good. We had the fried chicken wings and they were crispy, including the French fries. Really good! The noodle bowls were large, tasty---the one with the beef, rich snd flavorful broth. The seafood really tasted like fresh from the sea. The sweet sour looked beautiful and unique with the coating. The sauce was a little thin, though and not too sour. Maybe that's the Korean take on it. The room is one large room with a lot of tables. Noise level is quite loud. Food came out reasonably on time. The servers were nice and friendly. Our experience was good.

Paik's Noodle is a new place in Lynnwood. Got to try soy garlic chicken wings, sweet and spicy chicken wings, sweet and sour pork and couple of noodle dishes. It's not your typical Korean restaurant as this is a Korean Chinese restaurant. I personally didn't enjoy the food because it's not my kind of flavor profile. Some were lacking in flavor in my opinion. It's was just spicy. Some of the sweet and sour didn't taste like it. Service is good. You actually order from the counter and food is served. However we were such a big group that they offered to get our order from our table. It's a clean restaurant. When to sit, water, utensils and condiments are by your side.

Tried out this new spot and honestly, it did not disappoint. The shop is super clean and has a fresh, modern vibe. Ordering is simple you place your order first, then grab a seat, which keeps everything moving quickly. Service was fast, and the food came out hot and fresh without a long wait. Everything we ordered was flavorful and well-presented. You can tell they care about quality, not just speed. Definitely a solid go-to if you want something quick but still really good. I'll be back.

I been wanting to come to this place ever since I watched culinary class wars. When I heard there's a new location in Lynnwood I knew I had to come. It was quite busy when we came and had to wait for a while. We got the spicy seafood noodle soup and the sweet and sour pork. I loved the noodle soup!! It was soooo flavorful and we loved the flavor of the soup. There was soo much toppings as well and the squid was really soft. However the mussels were chewy. The sweet and sour pork was okay. The sauce was way too sweet for us and we would have rated it higher if it wasn't as sweet. Too overpowering. But the fried pork was nice, I like the chewiness of the batter.

I love jjajangmyeon, but a restaurant that does it right is hard to come by in WA. My cousin and I have tried Paik's in Carrollton, TX and liked it there, so when we heard they were bringing one to Lynnwood we had to try it. There's plenty of free parking available in the lot as this location is in the same plaza as 85* degree bakery where the old GameStop used to be. Upon walking in, you should walk to the counter to place an order with the person there as there's no menus at the tables. The menus are instead projected on the TVs above the register or they one a physical copy too taped on the counter. Each item of food has a picture by it and you order then pay before you sit down. You can choose any table as they're all set up with water and utensils already. jjajangmyeon: we decided to order a bowl each and this was a smart decision because we were both pretty hungry. I think that if this is your main entree, get one each but you could definitely split it if you were ordering some other dishes as well. There was a healthy portion of noodles and they were more of the thicker side. I personally prefer thicker noodles because they hold the sauce better in my opinion, but my cousin prefers thinner ones. They have a good bounce to them and are chewy. The sauce itself had lots of beef, onions, and green peas inside. It wasn't too watery like other locations, but I did wish the black bean taste was stronger. It's more of a light taste, so I added vinegar & the red chilis on the table to enhance the flavoring which helped. soy garlic chicken: you can choose between 5 pieces or 10. We chose 5 and they were all pretty large pieces. It's a mix of bone in drums and flats, but fried very nicely. The meat was succulent. The batter wasn't thick at all and the sauce stuck to the chicken well. You could taste the garlic and hint of sweetness. The fries on the side were also very fresh. You can tell they fry them to order and had the perfect ratio of soft potato inside to crispy outside. I feel like the prices were pretty reasonable for the portion & quality of food. Everything was fresh and the staff were all very sweet! You take a number tag with you to your table so they can find you. The food all came out in about 10 minutes and they'll check in on you if everything's good, but leave you alone for the most part. There's many tables in the restaurant and they even have booths against the back wall for larger groups. I liked how spacious, open and clean the interior was. It's a very chill spot to come get a quick meal or catch up with friends. We saw lots of Asian grandmas and grandpas in there which is always a good sign :) I'd recommend & will be back.

Good food with quick service! I got my noodles to go and appreciated that the sauce, noodles (and even radish) were included in separate containers! There was plenty of sauce, maybe more than needed for the noodles too. If I'm in the area, I'd come back if I'm craving some jajangmyeon.

Paik's Noodle is worth the visit. The interior is clean and airy, with an open layout that the staff made even more welcoming. They happily rearranged tables to fit parties of all sizes without missing a beat. We went with the jajang rice and tangsuyuk, and both delivered. The jajang sauce is the real deal: rich, deeply savory, loaded with tender onions and meaty bits. Easily one of the best in the area. The tangsuyuk was a pleasant surprise: fresh, crispy, but with a mochi-like chew to the breading that adds a satisfying texture. That small twist that makes a big difference. Solid food, great staff, and a space that actually feels good to sit in. Highly recommend.

Soooo delicious! We got the fried chicken, jajamyun, and jjampong! Everything was great - employees were really kind and checking in on us to see if we needed anything. Will be back!

If you're craving a legit bowl of jjajangmyeon, Paik's Noodle in Lynnwood absolutely hits. The noodles come out perfectly chewy and coated in that rich, savory black bean sauce that's got just the right balance of depth and slight sweetness--super comforting without being overwhelming.

Such a nice addition to Alderwood Plaza! The dining style is a little different but very convenient and quick. You check-in and wait until you are called/receive a text that it's time to order, you go up to the counter and order, and then assigned a number and told where to sit. The food came out so quickly! It's definitely more family style dining, where the dishes are large enough to share. Staff were very friendly and kept checking in on us even after we got our food. The food was super tasty and we will definitely come back!

I love Paik's! One of the more solid chains I've been to so I was excited to see they opened in Lynnwood! It's a spot where you order at the counter and they give you a number to take to your table. We got the jjajeongmyeon and soontofu jjamppong which are my go-tos. Both really great! The noodles were perfectly cooked in both, and I especially liked adding the tofu into the jjamppong. I only wish they did the thing at many other korean spots where you can get smaller portions of both in one order. That way I wouldn't have to choose which one to get!

    Tania Z.

Casual dining, upon walking in we saw signs to order at the counter. Fairly prompt service although not very helpful. After ordering I realized you can get jjamppong with rice instead of noodles. It was assumed we wanted noodles rather than being asked. Fried dumplings were basic. Hubby got meat jjamppong while I ordered the standard. His came out first while mine took a bit longer. Broths tasted the same his just had more of the 'meat worms' as he called them. Broth had a nice seafood base, not very spicy or thick.

Sweet and sour pork, stir fry shrimp noodles, and meat jajangmyeon!

I love everything; perhaps the octopus could be cooked a little longer to tenderize more. I love the crunchiness from it, and the crunchiness from the black mushroom too. Maybe the chef can find a way to achieve just enough tenderness while still being crunchy, which would be perfect. Another thing, my bowl looks burned on the edges. Kudos to all staff! They can accommodate big groups, as they had 2 different large groups at the same time, but those took up a lot of tables because the restaurant isn't that spacious. The combos are a good option if you have people to share with and/or multiple people are hungry. The portions are enough for more than one meal, and the prices reflect that. We ordered boiled dumplings and the friends combo A with jajung, jjamppong, and tangsuyuk (M). The bowls of jajung and jjamppong are huge, but I didn't notice any meat in the jajung. The jajung was basically noodles, brown sauce, and onions. It was tasty, but disappointing that it looked and tasted vegetarian. The jjamppong was tasty because it was garlicky and slightly spicy. I was surprised to see the boiled dumplings were basically tiny wontons in clear broth. They need to update their menu description because I was expecting dry and regular sized dumplings. The tangsuyuk was very crispy, and I'm glad they served the goopy sauce separately.
