A5. GARLIC GREEN BEANS

We ordered multiple dishes and they were all were packed with flavor, and spices. One of our favorite dishes was the garlic chicken. The portion sizes are big, and plenty enough for leftover's. The service was great! Everyone was very attentive, polite and pleasant to talk with. We will definitely be back here again!

Best Korean food in Woodinville?? Who would have thought?? When a large party of 12 aunties and uncles come out with their bellies full, you know have entered the right spot. Come in, get the Family Combo B, sit back, relax and enjoy some Korean/Chinese fusion comfort food. Portions are generous, fair priced, and delicious. More than enough food for 3 heavy eaters in our party. Our service was polite, efficient, and provided more than enough utensils and side plates for our group.

We happened to be in the area and this came up on Yelp so we decided to go randomly on a Saturday. I am so grateful we decided to go! First, both my husband and I were dressed nicer than usual because we had a birthday party after, so they gave us these cute aprons to wear to keep our clothes clean! We ordered garlic green beans, jajang noodles, and then tangsuyuk. The garlic green beans were fine (very garlicky, which I love but my husband said felt overpowering if he tried to eat anything after), the jajang noodles are clearly a fave (don't let "black bean sauce" deter you if you're not a bean girlie, trust me!), and the tangsuyuk was perfectly fried with the most delicious sauce. Overall, we loved what we ordered and we strongly recommend this place. Shout out to the great service, quick ordering/delivery of food, and overall positive experience.

This place has easily become my new favorite Korean place!! Went here and luckily beat the dinner rush. We got the friends combo A and added on another order of noodles for the 4 of us and that was the perfect amount of food. The service was so quick and the food came out so fast!

Great food, came before the rush hour. Server was attentive to our table when the dinner rush came. Wish the location was bigger to accommodate more people!

We tried this spot for dinner. Was rated pretty quickly. The food felt like comfy food. The garlic beans was a good effort but didn't quite hit the spot when compared to the ones in DTF. The Kkanpunggi was excellent. The Japchae Rice and Jajang was also quite good. Overall it's good place if you want to just have a decent meal without over expectations. I'll be back to try other stuff on the menu.

This is an absolute must-visit for anyone craving authentic Chinese-style Korean food. They've completely mastered the classics: the black bean noodles (Jajangmyeon) are rich and savory, and the sweet and sour fried pork (Tangsuyuk) is perfectly crispy and delicious. Best of all, the kitchen is lightning fast--the food comes out incredibly fast and fresh, making it the ideal spot for a quick, high-quality, and deeply satisfying meal.

We have eaten a lot of Korean food, but this is our first taste of Korean Chinese food with their popular black bean sauce noodles. Modoo Banjeom in Bothell is known for serving gigantic portions at very good prices. The night we went was cold and wet. That steaming platter of noodles and the spicy noodle soup were perfection. Their food is very crave-able. We arrived just before 7, and we seated soon after. The restaurant is modest sized and clean. Our server was chatty and explained everything to us, giving us extra pickled radish for our leftovers. The staff worked very well together and readily met our eye contact for water refill and take-out containers. Thanks! The Food: Seafood Jajang Platter, $29 - 5 Stars Menu: 해물쟁반짜장 - Stir-fried noodles in black bean sauce, seafood, pork, and vegetables Their version of black bean sauce is slightly sweet, which is normal. You need to look at the photo to understand what this platter is about. It's insanely good and super satisfying with the mixture of ingredients. Everything is cooked just right. Jjamppong, $18 - 5 Stars Menu: 짬뽕 - Spicy noodle soup with seafood and vegetables This spicy seafood noodle soup is so, so good on this cold night. Theirs is a spicy clear broth version well stocked with seafood, veggies, and noodles.

Delicious, mouthwatering Korean food! My second time eating at this restaurant. The first time I was at the Lynnwood location and I forgot to post about how good this restaurant was. Just like the Lynnwood location, the restaurant is clean, welcoming staff, and the food is comforting. We had the C1 combo friends A, and chili shrimp. Lots of food for two people. Definitely it could easily feed 3 maybe 4 depending on how much you can eat. Great foodie option to try out!

Great flavors at this little Korean restaurant in Bothell! We had their Combo A which includes a spicy seafood soup, a black bean noodle dish, and a deep fried pork dish with a sweet dipping sauce The Korean names are hard to pronounce and remember, but all were generous sized and delicious. The spicy soup was overflowing with squid, shrimp, and other shell fish, and the soup was rich and perfect on a cold evening. The deep fried pork was my favorite, not overcooked and also good portion size. The black bean noodle was decent but I wish it had just a bit richer sauce. We had enough to take home for leftovers which were just as good the next day! This is not a very big place, maybe 9-10 tables plus a small bar, so there might be a little wait. But they get people out pretty quickly, and staff was all friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back for more of their menu.

First time here and it won't be my last! I have been hearing about this place recently and wanted to try this place out. So my partner and I decided to trekked our way up north to Bothell to find this hidden gem. The restaurant is located in a plaza shared amongst with other businesses like Starbucks. As we entered the restaurant, we were seated immediately by the front door. We were instructed to scan the QR code for the menu. We decided to order the combo A which included the jjangmeon, tansuyuk (sweet and sour pork) and jjamppong. Here are my thoughts on each dish. Jjangmeon: The black bean sauce were sweet and saucy. I like the noodle chewy texture where it reminds me of spaghetti noodles. I do wish there were more flavors added to this traditional dish. Tangsuyuk: This was our first time trying this dish and we thought it was pretty good. They give you a bowl of sweet and sour sauce to pour over the pork. The pork was lightly battered and deep fried. I asked our server if we could sampled the mala sauce version and he kindly gave us a small bowl of the sauce to try. Overall, I would order this again but with the mala sauce instead since the spiciness made a difference to this dish. Jjamppong: Hands down our favorite dish of them all! The broth was flavored very well and it was spicy. You can taste the wok flavor in the broth. I also like having noodles and seafood in this dish. Really enjoyable to eat especially on a cold day! Will for sure order again when I come back! Overall, a great hole in the wall restaurant! The service was great and the staff were very attentive. Definitely will come back again! FYI they have another location out in Lynwood.

I don't often search for Korean food, but this place is pretty good overall. Although it doesn't scream the most authentic Korean menu (which would intimidate me anyways), it's still a viable option. The best dish IMO was the baek jjamppong; the (giant portioned) savory white broth hits the spot on a cold night, and that alone wants to make me return. The classic jjangmyeon was a bit disappointingly sweet and lacked the more traditional savory taste. The Tangsuyuk/ sweet and sour pork great light, airy batter, but the sauce was a bit too sweet as well. I do like how they offer combo dishes to sample and share things too. Service was great and friendly for our dinner party that included younger 5 kids too.

Spicy seafood soup - comes with the fried rice.

I have been driving by this place for months and never bothered to stop in, and I finally decided to make it a point to do it since the word noodle is in their sign. I'm so glad I did... At first I was a little thrown off by the fact the noodles were not what I was expecting, and there were so much unfamiliar things on the menu, but I was wowed by their shrimp fried rice (accompanied by their pork with bean paste which f-in' blew my mind). The soup that comes with it is spicy but so flavorful. Highly recommend! Their noodles are good too, but not nearly as flavorful as the friend rice.

The food here is good and worth the drive if you are in the county, but I am dropping my review to 3 stars based on all the issues between both visits. On this visit, we came for dinner. Dinner specials are about 20% more than lunch. You certainly expect a larger portion and, in most cases, the dinners include an egg roll or BBQ pork or something to round out the meal. That was not the case here. Nope, this was just soup entrée and rice and the portion was not larger than the lunch portion. That was the first issue. The second was not having out water refilled, AGAIN. When we asked for water, the woman had an attitude and the customer waiting for his take out said, You, can grab a carafe from the cooler. I had seen them, but not only was one never offered to us, it should have been placed on the table for dine in. A reviewer called the Almond chicken weird. It's not weird, they just use the same process as the sweet and sour chicken instead or pounding out a breast. I've had it this way a few times and actually like it. Each piece is about the size of a Starbursts, but once battered, it puffs up to a fun size Snickers bar. The advantage is a fully coated, crisp piece of chicken. The downside is it's an illusion. It makes a small portion of chicken look like a full-size portion. That said, the chicken was good, well seasoned, battered and cooked perfectly. That same take out customer asked for hot oil, the same thing I asked for on my first trip, the lady reached down and grabbed him a tiny cup. Yes, the same thing we were told they don't have on our first trip. WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON HERE! The final issue was the soup. As mentioned in my initial review, the hot and sour was really good, but when I asked about another cup, I was told I had to buy another lunch. So this time, based on reviews, I tried the wonton soup. It was about $7 and it was in the same size cup as the lunch soup, so maybe 10 oz or even 8. It was packed with 4 wontons, it also had bamboo and carrots and another vegetable that may have been zucchini It was good, but not as good as the hot and sour and not worth the price. This is a $3 cup of soup, not a bowl, either lower the price or increase the portion. The food is an A, but the service is an F. They are inconsistent and since we have been the only dine in customer's on both trips, I guess all your take out people have a different experience. If this place was in our neighborhood, we would get take out, not dine in and we would be selective about what we order. I think the food is 5 star, but everything else is an issue. When you can't trust the people serving you, it's hard to fall in love with a place.

Solid offering. Plenty of different sauces to season to taste. We started with the American Salt and Pepper corn. That was my favorite dish of the meal - a tasty and fun offering. Nice to have something a little different and this one delivered. Spicy and savory. Loved it. We also ordered the yellow curry with chicken. It was good - flavorful and filling. Next up was the Singapore noodles. They were ok but somewhat lacking in "pop" vs. what you might get in a dedicated Chinese restaurant. The last item was the Black Pepper beef. Good but a little bland as well. If I come back I'll definitely order the Salt and Pepper Corn again and explore more of the Indian inspired dishes. I get the feeling that they are stronger in that department vs. the Chinese influenced offerings. The waitstaff was very good - kudos for taking care of us.
