I have had take-out here a couple of times and was very pleased (although the interior is nice also). Food is always ready on time and packaged well. Wondering if the food was a fluke on our first visit we returned and oh boy, did these guys drop the ball. The food here is good and worth the drive if you are in the county, but I am dropping my review to 3 stars based on all the issues between both visits. On this visit, we came for dinner. Dinner specials are about 20% more than lunch. You certainly expect a larger portion and, in most cases, the dinners include an egg roll or BBQ pork or something to round out the meal. That was not the case here. Nope, this was just soup entrée and rice and the portion was not larger than the lunch portion. That was the first issue. The second was not having out water refilled, AGAIN. When we asked for water, the woman had an attitude and the customer waiting for his take out said, You, can grab a carafe from the cooler. I had seen them, but not only was one never offered to us, it should have been placed on the table for dine in. A reviewer called the Almond chicken weird. It's not weird, they just use the same process as the sweet and sour chicken instead or pounding out a breast. I've had it this way a few times and actually like it. Each piece is about the size of a Starbursts, but once battered, it puffs up to a fun size Snickers bar. The advantage is a fully coated, crisp piece of chicken. The downside is it's an illusion. It makes a small portion of chicken look like a full-size portion. That said, the chicken was good, well seasoned, battered and cooked perfectly. That same take out customer asked for hot oil, the same thing I asked for on my first trip, the lady reached down and grabbed him a tiny cup. Yes, the same thing we were told they don't have on our first trip. WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON HERE! The final issue was the soup. As mentioned in my initial review, the hot and sour was really good, but when I asked about another cup, I was told I had to buy another lunch. So this time, based on reviews, I tried the wonton soup. It was about $7 and it was in the same size cup as the lunch soup, so maybe 10 oz or even 8. It was packed with 4 wontons, it also had bamboo and carrots and another vegetable that may have been zucchini It was good, but not as good as the hot and sour and not worth the price. This is a $3 cup of soup, not a bowl, either lower the price or increase the portion. The food is an A, but the service is an F. They are inconsistent and since we have been the only dine in customer's on both trips, I guess all your take out people have a different experience. If this place was in our neighborhood, we would get take out, not dine in and we would be selective about what we order. I think the food is 5 star, but everything else is an issue. When you can't trust the people serving you, it's hard to fall in love with a place. read more

I wanted to see what this new restaurant had on their menu and how good they were. I was not disappointed my waiter. Michael was absolutely wonderful. The restaurant was so clean and the food was so delicious. Michael was very sweet and great. They had wonderful parking in front of their store. They have wonderful employees and the owners are wonderful people. I suggest that everybody if they want Chinese go to Mill Creek's new China restaurant you will not be disappointed. I haven't found this quality or menu and at least 10 years and it was so refreshing to find what you want and everything was great and the service was great as well. The parking sucked though. Couldn't have been happier to find this place. Everything I've tried was like horrible and I tried everything in like Stevens. This review is for take-outs and catering. My family is a huge fan of this place. We probably order from here up to about 10 times a year from normal family dinners up to bigger birthday and holiday gatherings. The food is always a hit which is why we always order from here. So often the owner recognizes my sister's number and knows our order before asking, lol. We haven't tried most of the things on the menu, but our family's favorites and regulars are the Mongolian beef, chicken stir-fry udon, almond chicken, fried rice. The food here is very flavorful and is Asian comfort food. I don't think there's been anything we didn't like from here and wouldn't order again. What we thought would be cheap quick service turned into our favorite stop for amazing Mongolian Beef, Sweet and Sour Chicken, General Tso's and Chow Mein. Pleasantly surprised with the quality of food here. Chinese (American Chinese obviously) is just so hit or miss and when it's bad, it's like really bad, ya know? But we had a hankering after hanging out in DT Snohomish and this wasn't too far away. I do not recommend dining in as the restaurant is nearly empty with only 3 "set" tables. They look like they are still in Covid times basically. I asked if we could dine in and the guy behind the counter looked almost taken aback but hesitantly said yes. Well, we changed our minds right there and decided to order to go as to avoid a surely awkward meal. Glad we did and the food was so good! I was so happy they had salt and pepper tofu as an option because that is hard to find... and man, that was the standout dish. I loved the shrimp chow mein as well. I should have double checked myself but the bag was tied too tightly that I couldn't open it in my vehicle. I called to let the lady know that I picked up order from and was just asked to come back to get the rice. No, I'm not coming back. On our last order they replaced an entree without notice and it was the one entree that made me want Chinese food. We got the sesame chicken, broccoli beef, and shredded chicken in spicy garlic sauce. All come with rice but we upgraded one order to fried rice for $2 extra. The food was ready in only 15 minutes. The highlight was the sesame chicken. It was breaded and had a good sauce on top. The fried rice was also pretty good. The broccoli beef was ok and also had carrots in it. It didn't have a ton of flavor but the beef was tender. The shredded chicken in garlic sauce was not good. It smelled like burning rubber and did not taste good. Neither of us enjoyed this dish. My husband really wanted good Chinese food that was less than 3 miles away. I placed our order online which was extremely efficient because it allows you to adjust your order to your preferences, add tip, & pay creating the perfect contactless takeout experience. Unlike the initial visit my husband's sweet and sour chicken and sauce was prepared perfectly. The garlic chicken wings were appropriately sized (not too big or small,) and flavorful. I ordered for delivery and this turned out to be such a treat. First off, the Crab Rangoon is outstanding. I have never had Crab Rangoon this good. There were six pieces and not only was each piece large, but they were all stuffed. The crab filling was slightly sweet and the flavour was beyond. I had to really control myself to not snarf it all down at once. I also ordered the Kung Pao Tofu. The menu States this dish is spicy, it's not. Absolutely no spice at all, but it was packed with flavour. The portion was generous and included a side of rice. Great balance between tofu, veggies and peanuts.
