Mongolian Beef Lunch Special
D W.

The waitress was not friendly! I ordered the Mongolian beef and requested no rice noodles. And was told by the waitress for the first time EVER that it was NOT possible to leave them out......WTF? Rice noodles are the first thing sprinkled on the plate. I've been to many Asian restaurants, and have never had any issues holding the rice noodles. Due to this incident, we probably won't be back. The Mongolian beef was okay, it was super sweet.

Quality food, fresh, not greasy, relaxed atmosphere, well priced. Clean, family oriented, Bright, well maintained.

"bbq pork" not even close to bbq pork taste like this shits been frozen and reheated numerous times

Disgusting food, spent 55$ on a meal for 2 when the food is literally nasty. Everything is dry, no flavor, the Mongolian beef is like a soup. Wouldn't recommend

Lemon chicken lunch special. Bad photo, but great food. It was less than $10!

(Note: this isn't authentic Chinese food, this is what you expect in America as a "Chinese restaurant" - that is to say it is American-Chinese food. Do not interpret this review to mean it is authentic to China, I have visited and these are not similar whatsoever.) This is a stellar Chinese food restaurant with very tasty, good quality food. The value is very good for this type of restaurant (especially during the lunch special), the serving sizes are more than enough, etc. I love their lemon chicken - most restaurants don't offer this (or if they do, it's too sweet). I usually order this along with some hot and sour soup - which is the best I've ever had. I mostly take out, but for dining in, their waitstaff is pretty nice, they know English well enough and the tea is very pleasant (again, better than most Chinese restaurants). You can tell the chefs really want to create a good quality plate of food, the place seems to be ran very well, it has a nice, calm atmosphere, and I would recommend anyone come have a meal here. Of course they have the Chinese zodiac sheets printed out under the glass tops of ever table!

Vegetable Egg Foo Young with extra veggie
Fara K.

I found that egg foo young looks and tastes widely different across diff chinese restaurant, im a fan of egg foo young so just want to show how they look when they arrive from doordash. The egg foo young was still really hot when it arrived and it stayed warm for a long time, many veggies in the patties but i did order extra veggies, broccoli, green peas , onion , didn't notice the common cabbage much inside though . They are not deep fried which i feel they are healthier given the amount of veggies and not being deep fried x.

Super disappointing as I thought we had found a new restaurant for our rotation. Ordered to go. The hot & sour soup was wonderful, the jumbo shrimp were good. The combination I chose came with a soup, pork fried rice (delicious), two piece of BBQ pork, and General Tsao's chicken. The pieces of chicken were way too big and had not been cooked properly. They were the size of a half boneless thigh and were not crisp at all. In fact they were soggy and pink in the middle. Inedible. Yuk. No thanks.

Would you like some prawns with your mayonnaise?
Rebecca H.

Gross! See attached picture of Honey Walnut Prawns. There was over 12 ounces of mayonnaise on these prawns - not even palatable. They told me to bring them back, but I don't want to make the drive. Ugh. I don't feel good.

Combo dinner E, yum! The best!!!

I love everything; perhaps the octopus could be cooked a little longer to tenderize more. I love the crunchiness from it, and the crunchiness from the black mushroom too. Maybe the chef can find a way to achieve just enough tenderness while still being crunchy, which would be perfect. Another thing, my bowl looks burned on the edges. Kudos to all staff! I have noticed that they always work together seamlessly as a team. They communicate and clean the tables together in an efficient manner. Please keep up the great work!

They can accommodate big groups, as they had 2 different large groups at the same time, but those took up a lot of tables because the restaurant isn't that spacious. The combos are a good option if you have people to share with and/or multiple people are hungry. The portions are enough for more than one meal, and the prices reflect that. We ordered boiled dumplings and the friends combo A with jajung, jjamppong, and tangsuyuk (M). The bowls of jajung and jjamppong are huge, but I didn't notice any meat in the jajung. The jajung was basically noodles, brown sauce, and onions. It was tasty, but disappointing that it looked and tasted vegetarian. The jjamppong was tasty because it was garlicky and slightly spicy. I was surprised to see the boiled dumplings were basically tiny wontons in clear broth. They need to update their menu description because I was expecting dry and regular sized dumplings. The tangsuyuk was very crispy, and I'm glad they served the goopy sauce separately.

I ordered the cabbage and pork potstickers, the Dandan noodles, a beef pancake roll, the veggie, egg and shrimp potstickers, and finally the lamb with onion potstickers and one coca-cola (yes, all of this was for me, don't judge). First, the beef pancake roll was AMAZING!!! It's a super simple item, the pancake was crispy and soft, wrapped around some lettuce and flavourful beef. This is a must order. The potstickers were all fantastic. Warm, pillowy pockets full of veggies and protein. The cabbage and pork were my favourites. Finally, the Dandan noodles. These noodles were covered with beef and sauce that had just a whisper of peanut butter. So simple but yummy! This place serves up some delicious food!

It is their specialty and they do it well, from the skin to the fillings. In my opinion, they are much better than dough zone. However, their pot stickers, steamed, and boiled ones, are all the same type, so be aware not to order too many dumplings, mix in some noodle or pancakes dishes to avoid one note. My only complaint to the menu is they don't offer much wide veggie dishes. The only thing is the cucumber salad, which is only a ok dish.

I've been aware of the Seattle location because of the cute name, like mountain bao, but never visited. Lynnwood (Mill Creek) area is a bit more convenient, so decided to stop by. Kind service, mainly taking orders and dropping off food, but was pleasant. Green Beans - solid green beans! No meat but stir fried well. A bit pricey but a solid shareable portion. I'd love a version with some meat but I can appreciate being vegetarian friendly. Pan Fried Pork Bao - sadly no soup in this pan fried bao. I think there was too much bread because everything was very doughy while the actual pork was tiny in comparison. If there was more meat then maybe the extra large dough would be okay. On the bright side I guess this is a filling item with the carbs. Xiaolongbao - Unfortunately, 2 out of 8 XLB were ripped and the soup spilled in the steamer. Those ones were extremely sad and disappointing. However, even the remaining 6 XLB didn't have that much soup. I would skip the XLB here which sucks because the place literally has bao in the name. Shu Mai - tasty, hearty, comfy, and satisfies the craving perfectly. Large and scrumptious, as delicious as any dim sum spot. Highly recommend because I was shocked, not expecting much.

Definitely a no frills place, but it's family run and the food is good. We arrived around 12:45 on a Sunday, at the end of the lunch rush wave. Worked out really well: our server Frank sat us right away, we ordered, and were eating our first dishes within minutes. Perfect! Because we were starving! I had a hankering for pork bao, which I hadn't had in a long time. They were decent. My girlfriend is vegetarian, so all other dishes were vegetarian: dry-fried string beans, general Tso's tofu, and hot and sour food. More than enough for the two of us, and very good and satisfying. Note: General Tso's is usually made with chicken and we asked if it could be made with tofu instead. They had no problem with the request. Portions are ginormous, so bring your appetite!
