Pork feet
Yikai L.

A pretty down to earth spot for family style chinese food. We ordered lamb noodles, sweet pork ribs, sesame chili oil chicken, and pork feet. We loved the pork feet, and lamb noodles. The chicken is a bit bitter. Pork rib is ok, could be a bit more tender. Overall the value is great (big portions), service is great, so highly recommend for a casual quick bite when on the road.

Wontons in chili sauce

I ordered food for pick up from here. I got 4 different things for 2 people and we ended up having leftovers. I got an order of steamed buns, wontons with chili sauce, boiled dumplings with beef and onion and their house special chow mein. I enjoyed the wontons with chili sauce a lot and ended up adding the chili sauce to the other dumplings. The boiled dumplings were very flavorful as well as the steamed buns. The chow mein also tasted great. I would order food from here again if I was in the area.

We came for dinner. There was tablet to order food. Gave us some tea to sip whole we waited. We ordered House Special Fried Rice, Steamed Dumplings pork, Fried fish fillet with sweet and sour sauce, Beef short ribs and Soup. Food came out quickly. We were surprised that the steamed dumplings(buns) were lacking soup. I remember we order soup dumplings. The soup was delicious and very flavorful with good yummy ingredients. It came in a big bowl. Enough to share and take home. The Beef short ribs were very tender and fall off the bone. Good time check on the beef The Fried fish was humongous. We didn't realize how big the fish was. Flavorful. Good colors on it All the foods here are delicious. Definitely try it out. Big portions. Enough to take home for another meal

One of the best restaurants I have tried in some time. The front staff is very welcoming, the place have ample of parking outside. We went there for a Friday dinner and were seated pretty quickly. You can order using the scanner but they also give menus to look. We order the soup dumplings, spicy wontons and noodles and everything was delicious. The also give complementary jasmine tea. The ambience is nice with pretty seating. Looks like a family run restaurant. Will surely give this a try again.

This has become one of my go to places for delicious Asian cuisine. The spicy dumplings and fried rice along with the Walnut Prawns are spectacular! Good service, great food, I definitely recommend!

Been here sooo many times and tried a good number of their menu items - so far, everything tasted great! Really liked everything we tried so far with no complaints. They are always consistent with their food too so we know what to expect everything time we come here. They have a good selection of Szechuan dishes; despite the name being Xiaolongbao, I don't think this place's signature is actually xiaolongbao (small dumplings) but their wide range of Szechuan dishes. The portion is generous too and we always have food leftover to take home. Service wise you order via a QR code and they come out very quickly.

Sautéed tofu

Solid 4/4.5 spot. The food here ranges from Sichuan to chongqing to American Chinese classics. There's also a lot of Chinese people eating here so thats also a good sign! There's plenty of parking in this strip mall and I love how a majority of items have pictures so you know what you're getting. XLB: Meaty and only pork inside! There wasn't much juice inside but the dish itself was delicious. Pan fried pork bun: The favorite of the meal. The buns are perfectly crispy on the bottom and there's a little bit of juice inside. The meat is juicy, lean, and only has pork inside. Sautéed tofu (tofu in brown sauce): The fungus was the star of the dish as it really took in the flavors of the sauce. The tofu itself was good but overall light. I liked the Hunan fried rice as well. It wasn't spicy but super flavorful.

Special Fried Eggplants and Peppers with Preserved Eggs

The menu here encompasses a lot of Chinese cuisine. There's dumplings, Sichuan, Hunan, Americanized Chinese food (kung Pao, Mongolian beef, etc.), and even more all in one place. I can't do peppercorns, so I stick with the less spicy items. The special fried eggplants and peppers with preserved eggs is a must try and unique dish. It's really oily and greasy, but tastes good. I don't like the tall wooden container it comes in, though. They let us mash it more ourselves, but I feel like this dish tastes better without mashing it. I like the veggies in the Chongqing fish dish, but they also get really oily from the broth. The fish fillets with pickled cabbage in broth comes with a lot of very soft fish and nice pickled flavors. The "spiciness" seems to be from white pepper, so it's not too bad if you can handle a little bit of spice. There were noodles at the bottom, which I wasn't expecting. The sauteed cumin beef had strong cumin flavors and a good texture for beef. The sauteed yams with black fungus are kind of goopy, but it was okay because I like black fungus. I always like spicy wontons, so I had to order those over dumplings. I would order the wontons again, but I probably prefer to go to Little Tings for actual dumplings and buns because they're slightly cheaper and have more options (different meats, veggie combos) and customizations (Pan fried, steamed, boiled). On another day, I ended up ordering pork fried buns and Boiled dumplings with minced beef and onion for take out, which were both good. The buns are sort of "petite", so I like that there's 8 of them. I prefer the sauces from Little Ting's because theirs is garlicky and has more substance to it (less oil), while the ones here are mostly hot oil with some chili. I could feel the hot oil on my mouth because it was dripping/spreading everywhere.

Picked up some togo for dinner (truth be told we order take out from them almost weekly). Love their Mao Xue Wang. I call it treasure soup since it has blood, intestines, tripe, black fungus, mung bean sprouts, spam, and fish in a mala broth. Although the heat and ma is inconsistent the components are always tasty. We also love their dry pot intestines which is crispier dine in but still good togo. I love the ginger slivers with the crunchy exterior and tender interior of the intestines along with the tasty wok hei on the celery and mung bean sprouts. We also have to get their crystal shrimp which the son loves and are very good.

We ordered - Boiled dumplings w/ minced pork and Napa - Pork pan fried buns - Hunan styled rice noodle - Stir fried beef - Seafood tofu pot This place is such a hidden gem! Their dumplings are made in house and the filling is super good and flavorful. I loved their pan fried buns too- the filling was like the dumplings and the bottoms were crispy. Seafood tofu pot was good, I especially liked the tofu and the fish pieces. The rice noodles were a table favorite and a good switch up from the normal chow mein with thinner noodles. Lastly, the beef had good flavor and I liked how the pieces weren't too big. Portion sizes are generally large and I appreciate the service. The waitress was really friendly and remembers customers. Definitely will be back!

Price - 5/5 If you want large portions, this is the place for you. The price might seem on par with other Seattle restaurants but the portion size is big. We easily got 2-3 meals from the four dishes we ordered. Experience - 5/5 Waiters were nice and service was quick. There is plenty of seating and parking. Taste - 4/5 Not the best Chinese food I've had in Seattle, but it satisfies my cravings. My favorite was probably the sweet and sour fish and the mao xue wang.

It's rare for me to give a 5 star review but I think this place deserves it. We came on a Sunday for lunch and it was pretty busy but we were seated pretty quickly even with a party of 9. I particularly liked the cauliflower dish and the fried tofu in the sizzling plate dish. I also liked the pan fried xiao long bao. I would love to try the eggplant next time. Also I bought their frozen dumplings and I think it's a great deal. Though they do have some msg in it, price wise is very reasonable. It's $35 for 50 dumplings as of 11/23/24. Also when I boiled them at home they were HUGE so that's a plus. I'm from Bellevue but I'd make the drive to shoreline just for the frozen dumplings even. It was that good. Parking area is a bit sketchy so don't leave valuables in the car.

I was looking for restaurants that had xiaolongbaos, and this was one of the first locations that I found (probably because it had xiaolongbao in the name lol), but I'm happy we have a place like this in Seattle! I went with two of my friends during a quiet afternoon, we were one of the only groups there during the time we went. We all decided to eat family style and ordered some xiaolongbaos with a few other dishes like a spicy chicken dish and some noodles. The xiaolongbaos were pretty good, but I wished there was a bit more soup in them. Other dishes were mediocre but still comforting. Quick service and a nice interior. I plan to come back again soon when I am in the mood for xiaolongbaos. Better to eat here and support a small business than one of the more expensive dumpling chains in the city.

Fried rice noodles & mouthwatering chicken.

It took a long time for the food to come out, and when our entrees finally arrived, we weren't given rice. We had to go ask for it so we didn't end up eating everything else first. It felt like they might be understaffed, which didn't help the overall experience. The appetizer platter was a bit disappointing. The honey walnut shrimp didn't really land for our table -- though I will say the crispy coating was interesting and I appreciated that they used actual walnuts. The entrees were better. The chow mein was my favorite -- great smoky wok flavor, well seasoned, and just really satisfying. The seafood clay pot was also solid, with shrimp, fish, and tofu. The beef broccoli was nicely cooked too, especially the broccoli with garlic. Overall, there are some good dishes here, but with how slow the service was, I'm not sure I'd pick this spot again.

Legend has it that tens of thousands of years ago, our ancestors lived by eating raw meat and…read moredrinking blood. One day, lightning struck a tree, causing a massive forest fire that killed many animals. Our ancestors then discovered that cooked meat tasted much better than raw meat. This is why roast meat has always been regarded as an important part of the human diet. Today I gathered with friends and chose this barbecue restaurant. It's located north of Redmond, with a prominent sign and plenty of parking. Ambiance: The decor is creative, but it feels quite contradictory. Barbecue is inherently a very "Jianghu" (lively, rough-and-tumble) kind of thing, yet the restaurant leans toward an artistic, literary style. When I used to run my own restaurant, I followed a principle: avoid anything unrelated to the core dining experience. Seeing many books on the shelves here, I understand they're trying to bridge Jianghu and artistry -- but it clearly feels out of place. That said, the place is very clean, and the stickers/decorations are festive. Service: My high rating for this restaurant is largely based on the service. After we sat down, we were given free appetizers -- braised peanuts, which tasted great. The staff training is very professional, whether it's taking orders, making recommendations, attending to us during the meal, or checking on tables and refilling water. All excellent. Taste: Jianghu-style cuisine is characterized by boldness, satisfaction, and not sweating the small details. We ordered spicy hot pot (Malatang), spicy hot pot skewers, grilled beef, lamb, chicken gizzards, oysters, and many other items. First, the Malatang and spicy skewers tasted almost identical, so it felt like eating the same thing. The grilled skewers were just average -- neither good nor bad. The oysters were very tasty. However, the shrimp in the spicy skewers were very unfresh, which was disappointing. "By the way, the prices at 'Friendship Skewers' are anything but friendly -- I think it's quite overpriced overall."
