We asked for suggestions and really felt like we were on our own to order. We planned to order separately, but once we saw that my meal was going to be close to $100, decided to share. It was enough food for two people, but definitely check market prices before you get excited because some seafood are $40+ per lb. The experience itself was fun! We loved getting to make a mess. The mild is pretty spicy and medium is spicy ! On a personal note- I found the sauce to be a bit too much on garlic and that the meat wasn't flavored (which makes me think what was the whole point of the bag). We really enjoyed the crab and I think I liked the sausages more . Also tried the beef short ribs which was a good quantity and shareable for two and comes with rice and salad. Ambiance is not bad. I've been going to this location for a few years and they've never had raw oysters but it's on their menu..I asked if I could order some and the server said they're sold out. It's funny because I went to the Kent location a few weeks ago and the server there said they don't even sell it anymore and doesn't know why it's still on the menu. Please update your menu if you don't sell raw oysters anymore. Their lemon, salt, and pepper dip lacks something. It doesn't have red chili or MSG like other crawfish locations. Impressed, tried for the first time this week. Exceptional customer service, great and clean atmosphere, really prompt/efficient/productive service. The food was fresh, cooked to order, and well executed. I don't always crave Cajun food or seasoning, but I must admit this was the best I have ever had. Very nice atmosphere and the waitstaff was friendly. Everything seemed very clean and it was reassuring seeing the green "Excellent" food rating sign upon entry. My teenage son and I loved the cajun sauce for our crab bag. It was delicious! We also ordered the lobster roll. Ours didn't look like the picture with big chunks of lobster. We had little shredded pieces but it was still very good! They offered the polyethylene gloves which ripped very easily and crab leg crackers which didn't help to open the crab legs so I would suggest bringing a couple pairs of nitrile gloves and a pair of scissors. Came here to eat for lunch and ordered garlic noodles and combo 2 with snow crab. The snow crab smelled a little off as I was peeling it but tasted okay with the sauce. The shrimp were cleaned and cooked well. It wasn't rubbery. It also came with corn, sausage, and potatoes. The meal was filling. As for service, it was okay. We had to ask for scissors for the snow crab. They did fill our water multiple times which was nice. We did ask for a bowl for our shells and the waitress kept dismissing it and saying we could put it on the table when we didn't want to. Note: you have to order everything and pay for it up front. This combo comes with 1 lb of shrimp,1 lb of crawfish, 4 pieces of sausage, 2 potatoes, and 2 corns for $31.95! What a steal! One thing I do wish was different about Bag-O-Crab is the garlic in the sauce is pretty big and chunky but that is up to your preference. Otherwise I really do like their atomic sauce. I forgot that I should have just ordered directly from the restaurant or called them, rather than using Uber Eats, because I'm not the Uber driver, haha. I know we aren't in the south so I was pleasantly surprised by the fun atmosphere they had!!! The sauce in my opinion was really good, we liked the New Orleans one the best. It was on the thicker side, but I liked it that way. We ordered 2 different boils for 4 people and it was plenty of food! I would recommend if you are craving something like this. I was craving seafood boils and I saw this was nearby from where I was. Overall gave it a 5/5 because of these reasons: Flavor wise: It was tasty, I got mild of combo one & had picked mussels and shrimps. The spice was on point in terms of spice level. However, it was lacking flavor. The flavor was more in the garlic rather than the sauce which was throwing me off. So every bite I had had to be with the garlic pieces in the bag rather than just smothering it in the sauce. Freshness: All the seafood presented to me was fresh & juicy. You can taste the quality which is what I enjoyed. Price: It was reasonably priced and was actually a deal when getting the combo one because if you just order 1lb of shrimp & 1lb of mussels, it would just be equivalent to the combo 1 price but the combo includes all the extras like 2 corns, 4 sausages slices, and 2 potatoes. Service: It was fast and the server helped us promptly. Food came in quick, considering there wasn't that much people in here. Service was fast and friendly. Ambiance: It was very clean inside here. In short: A fun, casual place to get your crustacean grub on. The food is solid, and, since shellfish is always expensive, their prices are reasonable. Fun environment. In long: It's a small regional chain with enough polish that it almost feels like a tourist trap, but it's the only one around here. It's at the end of a long line of businesses in a strip mall between big box stores. Inside, it's the usual shoebox-shaped mall suite. Tile halfway the walls, manufactured hardwoods on the floor. Looks nice. All new tables and chairs, some murals with a nautical theme, more nautical stuff in the knickknacks here and there. Service is quick, quiet, and polite. They're on it at all times. You get a sturdy plastic menu listing out all the boils and fried stuff. You can pick the exact spice level you want for your boil. As others have mentioned, you pay before you eat. Everything about this place is optimized with the understanding that your hands will be a mess. The napkin dispensers make it easy to grab one at a time. You get a bib, wet wipes, and gloves with your utensils. There's paper on the table, and they wrap up everything in one haul when you're done. They save pans and baskets--they set it up so they can flip tables quickly by tossing everything else. Market prices are on a chalkboard toward the back. The boils and combos list prices where they can but shellfish prices fluctuate, so they can't always print the prices weeks in advance. That's the reality of loving seafood. And no, of course they're not flying in fresh crab from Alaska every morning. That would be way too expensive for a casual place. Even expensive places do that only rarely. So, yes, you can tell this stuff has been frozen, like most Alaskan crab we get. You don't even have to taste it. Just think about it for a second. Sweet potato fries Crispy outside, some body left inside. Easy to dip. I wanna try these next time with cajun seasoning. Clam chowder Like every single other food item served here, it comes out way too hot to eat for the first few minutes. You'd think it would be from a bag at a place like this, and it probably was, but it has some big chunks of flavor. Worth a little bowl of it if you love clam chowder like I do. Very thick. WIngs Heavily breaded, nice and crunchy, and volcanically steaming hot. I got cajun, which were not crazy spicy at all, but had good flavor. Combo #2 I'm definitely not the guy to judge a seafood boil, but it was a huge hit across the table. Potatoes and corn soaked up tons of flavor. I tried a bite of sausage, and it seemed like a decent piece of meat. Kind of buried in all the spices and fishiness, and not really my thing, but done well if you dig this stuff. Big slab of crab in the middle, lots of big juicy shrimps. They set down a tin dish with the plastic bag tied up in it. You open the bag and turn it over into the dish. We got the Atomic sauce on it. You can easily see dozens of big chunks of garlic everywhere, and everything is reddish-brown from all the other seasonings. Flavors are pretty intense! At the end, they gather your leftovers and come back with them bagged up and tucked into a little gift bag with their branding all over it. Our leftovers are currently downstairs serving as lunch. All this with a couple iced teas, tax, and tip came to about $110. You're not going to find many shellfish feasts like this for less money than that. If you're on the hunt for seafood boils, this is probably the most cost-effective game in town. read more

This was my first seafood boil in Washington and it did not disappoint My friends and I got the 3 combo 1s ($32.95 each) which comes with your choice of 2 seafoods and 2 corns, 2 potatoes and 4 sausage slices. We decided to do combinations of shrimp and crawfish and shrimp and clams, with the atomic sauce medium spice. The seafood boil was so good and the crawfish/shrimps were so big! The sauce had so much garlic which I appreciated and was not too spicy at all. Everything tasted really fresh and was seasoned really well. We also got sides of garlic and cajun fries ($5.95 each) and they were perfectly crisp and flavored! As for service, even though we had a party of 7, we were seated almost immediately, which was lucky considering it was Saturday night! Upon sitting down, you're given wipes, bibs and trays. You order and pay first before the food comes out. The location was pretty big and each table had a paper over it to help with easy clean up. There were plenty of napkins too! The restaurant was very clean and organized and had a bathroom in the back. It's very bright inside as well, with crab related paintings on the wall. The garlic fries were great, but not what I was in the mood for (it was very busy and I didn't want to inconvenience them by sending them back). I ordered the combo #3 - Louisiana sauce - Medium heat. The flavor was great BUT they didn't give us any tools to crack open the crab legs and some of the legs were very cold. We drove 9 miles and got a lobster roll from here to go. Made the mistake of not opening the container until we got home. What we got was a lot of French fries and a teeny tiny little almost half a hot dog bun sized lobster roll. It was extremely frustrating because it's $23+tax for two bites of food. At least the cost should reflect what you're getting, charge less for less. Don't charge so much for literally a couple bites of food. Not cool, not okay, will not go back. I've gotten a cheaper, better and much bigger lobster roll at Virginia Mason hospital in downtown Seattle. This is not meaning to be rude, but it is frustrating when you work so hard for your money and others abuse that. Taking peoples money, selling people something based on a lie is not kind. The only other place I've been to like this is "the crab pot" but I really think for the value, this one is better! You pay upfront to avoid messy fingers and even though it was a full house with only two servers for the entire restaurant, they did a wonderful job at checking on tables promptly. We got the combo #1: one lb shrimp and one lb crawfish, house salad, and sweet potato fries for about $53 before tax, which I thought was a great deal considering how full I was. PSA GET THE SWEET POTATO FRIES! They were easily the BEST fries I've ever had. Coated with something to provide extra crunchiness. You can even dip them in the sauce afterwards. Being from California, I was craving the cajun seafood that I used to get from Crab Hut and Boiling Crab. This definitely compares and hit the spot 100%! The Louisiana sauce smother was a perfect balance between tangy, savory, and spicy. I brought two Washingtonian friends who had never been to a seafood boil. One of them even said "this is the best shrimp I've ever had" and enjoyed the experience of eating with their hands. We got combo #2 and added an additional pound of shrimp which was a good portion for all of us. So freaking huge but it really was a huge portion definitely big enough for 2 or 3 hungry friends or family.
