We came at 5:30 on Thursday party of 6 and were seated right away. This is what we ordered. Overall the food was good, sometimes a little oily, I would come here again to try the other foods. I would recommend coming here. There's also big parking in the back and a back entrance too GET DESSERT! The 3 ice cream plate had coconut, Thai tea, mango and jellies and the combo is delicious. I'd come back here just for this. Larb moo salad 2/5 because it was super duper oily. The herbs were good but it did come with only 1 piece of lettuce Sausage appetizer 5/5 good for a sausage had unique flavor Sausage with herb appetizer 5/5 strong lemon grass flavor good portion size Pad Thai Chicken 4/5 yummy but pretty sweet for my liking Tom yum soup 4/5 also sweet, came with a lot of shrimp which is a big plus I think we had 12 shrimp pieces. Pretty sweet Eggplant with pork 3/5 also pretty oily and more meat than eggplant Pad see ew with beef 4/5 I liked how crispy the meat was but the portion was smaller than the others

Larb Thai is a fantastic addition to the Seattle food scene. After hearing about it since it opened last year, we finally ordered takeout -- mainly because we'd been eager to try their duck salad. The Larb Ped did not disappoint at all: incredibly flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and with a great spice kick. We also ordered the Lao style papaya salad with salted crab and pork rinds, and the chicken pad Thai, and every dish was outstanding. The flavors were well balanced, bold, and the different textures of the ingredients played so well together. Everything had that satisfying, authentic Thai heat and depth. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable for the area, especially considering the quality and portion sizes. If you're looking for delicious Thai food with strong, well-balanced flavors, Larb Thai is absolutely worth checking out.

Chinese hot pot. Japanese hot pot. But have you tried Thai hot pot? I went with the seafood + meat set and everything was fantastic. The meat was perfectly tender, and the broth had this wonderful mild flavor that felt lighter and healthier than the super spicy options you usually find. It was flavorful without being overwhelming. The real star though? The sauces. Seriously addicting. I kept going back for more and it made the experience so much more interesting. Generous portions, but you might be seriously tempted by the appetizer offerings too. The interior is adorable and well-designed. Service was excellent, which doesn't surprise me since the owners also run another Thai restaurant in Roosevelt (which is also the best!!!!). I'm so proud to support such great people in the community. Will definitely be coming back!

Honestly, food was decent and would be 4.5 stars, but the service was just so bad. Our main server was fine and polite, but the other server was extremely rude. They did not serve us water and we had to ask for it, even though other tables that came after us received it. The main issue is the other server, who we tried to ask for a couple of napkins and spoon-- who just made eye contact and ignored us. The second time we tried to ask her for some water, she walked past and told us in a rude tone that she'll be back, but she never came back and we had to flag down a different waiter.

Hubby and I wanted to try new restaurant in town for Thai. We ordered the usual Thai dishes. 1. Pad thai-- meh... it was definitely mediocre quality. 2. Pad see ew-- soft tofu was hard but noodles had nice flavor. 3. Tom yum soup-- sooooo salty I had to pour extra water in. 4. Fried egg rolls--fried nicely and was very crispy. This was only thing I liked. 5. Sticky rice-- came in a small weave basket thing but the hot rice inside was wrapped in saran wrap. We all know the harmful effects of saran wrap on hot foods. Definitely not ordering this again The server was nice but looked busy as she was the only one in the hall. Overall, I probably would not return here. It wasn't for me.

I'm so happy to see this new Thai restaurant offering nontraditional Thai dishes that actually taste good and authentic. They have a wide variety on the menu, and luckily we went with a big group so we got to try a lot. I'd say about 90% of the dishes were on point. The papaya salad was the only one that wasn't consistent. We reordered it because the first one was great, but the second didn't quite hit the mark. Portions are on the smaller side, so I'd recommend ordering two dishes per person. That said, the total cost was very reasonable. Service was great and very attentive even though they were really busy. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes.

Lovely ambiance and decor, nice service, clean and delicious food. The portions were pretty good and the presentation was very pretty. I do have to mention, however, that the round dish with the hole in the middle (I'm guessing it's traditional) isn't practical, especially when it's holding ice cream that melts. The area of the restaurant also feels a bit sketchy.. but again, food is delicious and staff is super nice!

Salmon curry - flavorful and balanced curry and a generous portion of salmon. Tried 4/5 star spice and the dish wasn't overwhelmed by it. The Mali jasmine drink was super sweet. The single wait staff that I saw covered all tables and takeout calls politely and warmly. On arrival the place was about 1/4 occupied and my order arrived quickly. Tables and seats were clean, the floor could have used a quick sweep. Simple decorations and lighting was great: bright enough to read the menu and see your food, but not blinding. Parking lot available.

Visited Larb Thai today and we'll definitely be going back! The server was incredibly sweet and engaged with us, offering her suggestions. Lots of locals were sitting in. 10:1 rule definitely applies to this restaurant. Food was so good. We all tried something we've never had before and we had no complaints. My grandmother (who lived in Thailand for 4 years) noted that it definitely hit close to home.

Fantastic! Authentic, full of flavor, huge variety of dishes. Friendly helpful staff. Highly recommend, we'll be back!

Loved this new Thai spot! Most dishes were authentic and delicious, though the papaya salad was hit or miss. Portions are small order two per person but prices are reasonable and service was excellent. Can't wait to go back!

Even though I really wanted to love this place, this place was definitely overhyped; I'd say it's about the same level as A Ma's, which I also didn't enjoy. It might be because the place has gone super viral as we ended up waiting 80 minutes on a Saturday night, so quality control might be more difficult at this point. Tip: the iPad will say the wait is 30 minutes, do not trust the iPad. Hainan Chicken was tasteless and overcooked. The texture was way too chewy and was my least favorite preparation of the night. Gai Tod (fried) was better with a crispy outside, but still a tad overcooked. Gai Yang (grilled) was definitely the best version of chicken and is solid enough if you live nearby, but definitely not driving out of your way or waiting for. Rice wasn't super fluffy and I just prefer garlic rice over ginger. The chicken stock is probably the best part of the rice plates. Upside is the joint is definitely family owned and they do their best to provide good service in spite of the chaos. They'll take your order before you get seated, so the food comes out fast and are generally very sweet when checking in.

Started off with some VERY crispy wings, topped with fried shallots and garlic, could use a stronger flavor on the wing itself, but goes great with the sweet chili sauce and "secret" plum sauce, squeeze that lemon on there too! The curry itself was so rich, aromatic and savory. I also got the Cashew Chicken wok stir fry, love the subtle wok flavor with the mildy sweet and umami/soy flavor of the sauce. The veggies with a nice crisp and chicken goes perfect. They do spice level 1-5 and I chose 3, perfect amount of spice, not overpowering and you still get the nice kick! But my friend & I had the same "surprise" with the bill as Peter G. had 7 mos. ago. We were actually shocked, & disappointed, at the price of the add-ons. The sticky rice & mango dessert price was not on the menu - instead it said "when in season" - - it was almost the same as my entrée (delish eggplant) ~$16. The added soft tofu - the best I've ever had - was $9!, more than half the price of my entrée. Like Peter G., we also saw the itemized bill only at the register, not at the table, and we had to ask to see it, after first seeing the unitemized, total bill. 2 entrées, 2 sides of rice, 2 desserts with tax was over $90. Mine alone was $50 before tip - way more than I'm used to paying for a Thai dinner. So, I encourage going for the food, service, & ambiance, but do ask the prices of anything extra, add-ons, or anything requested that's not listed on the menu to avoid sticker shock, (unless money is no object).

I love the self serve sauces and the sambal is really balanced. It wasn't super hot and it gave the food a nice kick. It tasted house made and it wasn't sweet like the sambal bottle with the rooster. I love the mahi mahi and it's my go to. I enjoy the grill in the fish and the best part is the garlic and oil mixture that soaks in the rice. The beef is generous and we always have left overs. The slaw is always balanced and there is a unique ingredient which I can't pinpoint which makes it savory and unlike other slaw I've had which is super creamy and mayonaisy. The shrimp is always perfect and can't believe how generous the portions are. The best part is the fried garlic which are crispy and really enjoyable to eat after the shrimp.
