    #4 Beef Hot Soup
    Mireya S.

My absolute favorite place to eat right now. I come here once a week. My favorite soup to get is the beef hot soup! Without a doubt it hits every time. Its full of so much yummy things from grab to tofu skin and beef just to name a few. You will fall in love with those soup. The waiters are always friendly and attentive. If you are looking for a chill place this may not be it its can get quiet loud as everyone is enjoying their food and having a good chat.

I have been coming to boiling point for years and sad to say that the quality has gone a lot worse over the years First I don't think they ever clean the stove the soup is sitting on, there's leftover veggies and juice on the stove, had to wipe it clean myself. Second they have switched the ingredients in the house special soup over the years and added more "blood tofu" rather than the fish tofu in the past. This is very unfortunate because I'm a huge lover of their old house special soup. Place has a huge parking lot.

I will say, we had some really good service. Very attentive and efficient. The food on the other hand was bland. I never knew hot pot style meals could ever taste bland, but this was it. The beef broth was tasteless, ever with the addition of the condiments offered. I much prefer regular hot pot like Happy Lamb.

I've been to Boiling Point several times at several different locations, and what I like about them is that they stay consistent everywhere. The concept of being able to have your own bowl of hot pot soup is nice when you're not in the mood to stuff yourself with AYCE, as it serves as a quicker way to get your fix of hot pot. This time I ordered the Milk Creamy Curry for the first time per recommendation by my girlfriend. It comes with everything listed according to the menu/website, but instead of the sliced pork we substituted for the sliced beef. It was quite flavourful as you can really taste the cream and curry in this pot, and most of the toppings paired well with it. Although I wasn't a huge fan of the potato slices that came with it, I probably would've replaced it with taro slices instead. The only downside to these singular hot pots is that the meat always ends up very chewy and takes a while to ingest. Not the biggest problem, but it does get rather tedious after some time of eating it. All in all, always a good place to go when craving soups with a good selection of options for what to eat. Not much to say about this specific location other than decent-sized parking and average service.

*WAS IN FACT BOILING THE WHOLE TIME* First time here and did not know that each person gets their own individual flame and pot. Personally, way too hot for me and I didn't eat it fast enough so it started to burn. Besides the temperature, everything was delicious. What looks like a small pot is stacked with meats, veges and noodles. It even come with extra noodles or rice on the side ! Very bright and family friendly. Small location overall but got a table easily right before the dinner rush on a Tuesday. Two of us showed up before the rest of our party and they let us hold the table - which was very kind of them (we didn't order for about another half hour). Drinks were good and not too sweet. Loved the boba texture - soft and slightly chewy. *caution: I believe every option except the vegan one had seafood so if you're allergic, be aware your options might be limited :)

I came at 11 am right at opening. Service was quick and attentive. Loved the flavors of the hot pot although the slices of beef were fatty. Ordered vermicelli instead of rice for the hot pot. Really liked the green pepper chili oil which is the numbing oil and chili garlic paste for dipping. Wintermelon drink comes with the lunch combo. I came during my birthday so this would have cost me $20.78 before tax and tip but for my birthday it was free. Lots of tables to sit at. V

I really enjoyed my time here. I wouldn't say it was spectacular service, but staff was nice and seated you pretty quickly and you didn't have to wait too long for food. Menu was good for hotpot and its personal hot pots, not a shared one. But I would say I could have shared mine easily. They have appetizers and sauces and drinks. Good options for spice vs not. Pricing super decent.

Boiling Point offers consistent quality and fast service, making it a reliable spot for a quick mini hot pot fix. The cleanliness is medium, especially with the sauce containers and spoons, but it's generally acceptable. One nice touch is that the staff give free jelly at the end when you get your check, which is a pleasant way to finish your meal. Overall, Boiling Point is a solid place to satisfy your hot pot cravings without the hassle of making it at home or paying the higher prices at fancier restaurants. It gets the job done well enough for the price. I have never left feeling like it wasn't worth the time or money.

Packed on a Sunday night. In town for business so thought I'd check this place out and compare to Tasty Pot. Service is not great and very slow. Interior is nice, but pretty small. I ordered the Taiwanese spicy pot and pork belly appetizer. The pork belly was nothing special. Just some stir fried pork belly w some sauce. Usually when you order a Taiwanese spicy pot they ask what spice level you want, it here. They just go full out spicy AF, so that's a minus. So spicy almost can't eat it. The other downer is you'd think a place like this would take all credit cards, but they don't take Amex which surprised me. Next time I'll just got back to some other AYCE hot pot.

Beef Hotpot (mild spicy level) -numbed the tongue and mouth -not the aromatic kind of spice
    Shimakazi S.

Pros: --Free drinks came with the meal. (Choice between wintermelon or green tea). --If you like tons of napa cabbage it's a plus for your hotpot. Cons: --Mild spicy for beef hotpot (see photo) was like mala spicy level. Just spicy. Not the aromatic kind. --Very little meat. --All ingredients cooked in one pot already. If you want to experience cooking yourself the hotpot meal, this is not the restaurant to go to. --Rush rush service. --Vibe no go. Overall rating: 2.25/5

We tried the Green & pork bowl. Not recommended. It seems like the meats got shrink and mostly filled with vegetables. Service was great. I wish that they asked if we wanted meat upgrading which is cheaper compared to call another plate of slices meat. Spacey and good for families but not for big gatherings

This is one of my favorite places to go!! It is delicious food and a fun experience! Service is quick and kind and attentive! The place is loud and busy so it's hard to hear, but it is kept clean and is still worth going to.

I've been going to Boiling Point for a few years now, and I've been consistently satisfied with their hot pot. They are very consistent and it hits the spot when you want something warm and filling. I got the Beef hot pot -- everything was great, though I wish there was a bit more meat in the order.
