Vegetable chow mein

We ordered takeout and they do not offer in-house delivery, but pickup time was quick and friendly. The sticky buns weren't for me, but other people in the house enjoyed the soft and doughy texture. The noodle and rice dishes were great as usual, but the chicken was a bit dry inside the fried breading. They do have dine-in seating available but it's small tables and chairs lining the window walls, casual and friendly atmosphere though and a lovely, local small business!

Great for a later in the night dinner!!! Came here at 9:30pm on Friday with a group of 9 hoping to get in good Chinese food after a football game. Our server was so sweet and the staff was great. Kitchen got our food out in good time and the food tasted pretty good for a mid level price. Saw some people come in to deliver food as well so it seems like business is doing pretty good. The restaurant is smaller and feels like a good place to have good conversation in terms of ambiance.

Fast service, great price. It's good, not the best but not disappointing. I ordered orange chicken and kung pao chicken. I asked for no nuts in the kung pao chicken because my partner has nut allergies. The cashier made sure with the cooks in the back, no nuts. I drove home to Seattle, food is still warm. Checked the kung pao, there's peanuts. Unfortunate for my partner. The food was good. He enjoyed the orange chicken instead. Do I have to specify no "peanuts" and not "nuts" it's all good.

Well, the hunt for a replacement wonton soup continues after Tokyo garden closed... and this place doesn't make the cut the wonton was not good ..wontons were all dough and no meat inside or I should say barely...and the nail in the coffin for this place first bite I took was broth and a raw carrot and then I tried all the vegetables and none of them were cooked how does that make sense?? Do yourself a favor and don't get the wonton soup from this place. The hunt continues..

This was our dinner for tonight as we were in the area and thought it was ok We got: Egg foo young: this was a big portion and it was mostly eggs and cabbage and gravy. The flavor was very light but the texture was ok. Fried rice: this is more like soy sauce fried rice but bland. Some kind of special stir fry filled with a variety of protein and veggies. This is on the saltier side for me and some of the meat is definitely overcooked/dry. Overall, it's a pretty standard Chinese place, nothing really special

It was so good my plate was empty

This is definitely a hidden GEM! The Ambiance is very relaxing! The service is exceptional and the food is delicious! The veggies in the kung Pao chicken are cooked to perfection . My favorite part was the warm tea ! Highly recommend!! we will definitely be back!

Wondering if the food was a fluke on our first visit we returned and oh boy, did these guys drop…read morethe ball. The food here is good and worth the drive if you are in the county, but I am dropping my review to 3 stars based on all the issues between both visits. On this visit, we came for dinner. Dinner specials are about 20% more than lunch. You certainly expect a larger portion and, in most cases, the dinners include an egg roll or BBQ pork or something to round out the meal. That was not the case here. Nope, this was just soup entrée and rice and the portion was not larger than the lunch portion. That was the first issue. The second was not having out water refilled, AGAIN. When we asked for water, the woman had an attitude and the customer waiting for his take out said, You, can grab a carafe from the cooler. I had seen them, but not only was one never offered to us, it should have been placed on the table for dine in. A reviewer called the Almond chicken weird. It's not weird, they just use the same process as the sweet and sour chicken instead or pounding out a breast. I've had it this way a few times and actually like it. Each piece is about the size of a Starbursts, but once battered, it puffs up to a fun size Snickers bar. The advantage is a fully coated, crisp piece of chicken. The downside is it's an illusion. It makes a small portion of chicken look like a full-size portion. That said, the chicken was good, well seasoned, battered and cooked perfectly. That same take out customer asked for hot oil, the same thing I asked for on my first trip, the lady reached down and grabbed him a tiny cup. Yes, the same thing we were told they don't have on our first trip. WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON HERE! The final issue was the soup. As mentioned in my initial review, the hot and sour was really good, but when I asked about another cup, I was told I had to buy another lunch. So this time, based on reviews, I tried the wonton soup. It was about $7 and it was in the same size cup as the lunch soup, so maybe 10 oz or even 8. It was packed with 4 wontons, it also had bamboo and carrots and another vegetable that may have been zucchini It was good, but not as good as the hot and sour and not worth the price. This is a $3 cup of soup, not a bowl, either lower the price or increase the portion. The food is an A, but the service is an F. They are inconsistent and since we have been the only dine in customer's on both trips, I guess all your take out people have a different experience. If this place was in our neighborhood, we would get take out, not dine in and we would be selective about what we order. I think the food is 5 star, but everything else is an issue. When you can't trust the people serving you, it's hard to fall in love with a place.

I've been aware of the Seattle location because of the cute name, like mountain bao, but never visited. Lynnwood (Mill Creek) area is a bit more convenient, so decided to stop by. Kind service, mainly taking orders and dropping off food, but was pleasant. Green Beans - solid green beans! No meat but stir fried well. A bit pricey but a solid shareable portion. I'd love a version with some meat but I can appreciate being vegetarian friendly. Pan Fried Pork Bao - sadly no soup in this pan fried bao. I think there was too much bread because everything was very doughy while the actual pork was tiny in comparison. If there was more meat then maybe the extra large dough would be okay. On the bright side I guess this is a filling item with the carbs. Xiaolongbao - Unfortunately, 2 out of 8 XLB were ripped and the soup spilled in the steamer. Those ones were extremely sad and disappointing. However, even the remaining 6 XLB didn't have that much soup. I would skip the XLB here which sucks because the place literally has bao in the name. Shu Mai - tasty, hearty, comfy, and satisfies the craving perfectly. Large and scrumptious, as delicious as any dim sum spot. Highly recommend because I was shocked, not expecting much.

We ordered from their site and were give an eta. I showed up at the eta and saw pretty quickly I was going to be waiting. I was foolish not to think other people would have the same idea. Chinnie's food is always solid so why wouldn't everyone want to order from there? They have two sections, one is where people can sit and enjoy their meal and the other looks like there are tables along with a bar to sit at for drinks. Both areas were busy and the spot for take out seemed slammed. I ended up waiting about 45 minutes after my eta for my food, but here is the thing, while I was waiting I saw the staff hustling to get food out, orders taken and drinks filled. Everyone I encountered was working fast and friendly. Whatever time we waited was totally worth it, the food was hot, correct and delicious. The staff was fantastic all while working under pressure, missing time from their loved ones and dealing with issues. If you haven't tried Chinnie's Kitchen, please do. If they can make a packed Christmas wait pleasant, I can't imagine how amazing they are on a regular, less busy day.

*This establishment is take out only*…read more This was my third visit to Solid Teriyaki over the last few years. I recommend that you call them directly or walk in for takeout because those prices are much better than DoorDash or Uber eats will give you. This is a small family run establishment with excellent quality, food and customer service. Everyone I interacted with yesterday was extremely helpful and friendly. I was surprised that in this day and age their prices were still very good. I was just there to order takeout lunch for my husband and myself. I ordered the Seattle Roll, a spicy tuna roll, chicken and tempura combo, and an extra salad since the chicken entree came with a salad. I was not prepared for how much food I would receive! When I brought it home, my husband and I both laughed because we had so much food that there was no way we could eat it all. Not complaining! It was great! The tempura was easily the best I've had in the area. Perfectly done. The chicken teriyaki was perfect as well. The spicy tuna roll was excellent. The Seattle roll was really good, but did come with smoked salmon as advertised so patrons should be aware of that - you do taste the smoke. The salad was shredded cabbage with a delicious light dressing. This is hands down the best overall sushi/teriyaki place for take out in the Town Center in my opinion. For about $50, we got a TON of food that was really fresh and delicious. On top of that, this restaurant is impeccably clean and the staff pay attention to detail and care about their patrons. Our to go order was packaged up carefully and thoughtfully. I wholeheartedly recommend supporting this family and their amazing restaurant.

We started with the pumpkin tempura. It was crispy on the outside, with a naturally sweet pumpkin inside. It was really delicious. It came with a dipping sauce, though the portion felt quite small. The side of lettuce and a chunk of purple cabbage felt a bit odd presentation wise, but once we wrapped everything together and dipped it, it tasted great. For my main, I ordered the vegan herb tofu salad with medium spice. It was mostly fried tofu tossed in a herb dressing with mint, tamarind, and cilantro. The flavor was a mix of sweet, spicy, and tangy. It honestly reminded me a bit of pani puri. That said, the sweetness was a bit overpowering and made the dish slightly sticky. If they toned that down, it would be perfect. We also tried the vegan 17th curry fried rice, which was good. The curry flavor was subtle. My toddler absolutely loved it. Overall, I would recommend this place, especially for vegans. The food was good, with the only downside being that some dishes leaned a bit too sweet for my taste. The service was okay, not exceptional, but not bad either. I had visited this place about three years ago on a busy Friday night and had a pretty poor service experience, so I wanted to give it another shot on a weekday. The food has improved, and the service was decent this time around.
