Not your typical run of the mill teriyaki joint. This place is pretty legit with real pieces of meat that taste like meat and is decently juicy. We ordered take out and got teriyaki chicken (breast) and a Katsura chicken and it was really good and large portions. It does cost more than the typical joints but you get such a better product. The pork bulgogi was really good as well. They are only take out as a result of Covid. I hope they do fine in again one day. Overall I will be back and you should give this place a try. Will not disappoint!

1st time trying Solid and the teriyaki is pricey, but fantastic. Chicken Katsu and Spicey Teriyaki are great and portions are decent. The only reason for the semi-negative review is the piss poor attitude of the kid helping us. We had questions about the menu and he seemed irritated like we were bothering him in his empty restaurant and never once looked at us or cracked a smile until we left. Sad stuff considering how good the food is.

Try the far east Philly sandwich. Unique, flavorful, and the dipping broth and Mac salad are nice touches too. Was too hungry for it to capture the best picture, it's sooo good.

We came in here to just get a bubble tea but damn it smelled good. We ended up getting Mongolian Beef and a Spider Roll. The Mongolian Beef was very tendee with zero fatty pieces. Great flavor as well. Spider Roll was tasty and a good size. To say we went from a $5 bubble tea to a $31 meal and were really glad we did says something. Thumbs up, Solid.

We've gone now a few times and I am updating my review to 5. I was a bit harsh in my original review on customer service. The gentleman (owner) is pretty cool. I think he's being himself which is respecting customer's space as they come in and extending courtesies when we're ready to order. Not everyone can be bubbly (I know I can't!). Great food all the time.

Tiny portion of chicken, not spicy, not much flavor either. Salad is not a salad, idk what that is.

Prices are reasonable- especially for the portion sizes - about $14-18 per burrito. The food took about 15 minutes to come out, and the crispy chicken was hot and crispy! Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. I tried a bite of the flaming boar, and the meat was pretty sweet, so take a note of that. The lighting was kind of dark, and the decor was very modern. All the staff were super nice. There are bathrooms in the very back, and they're pretty spacious, but you do have to go down a long-ish walk to get to them. I would highly recommend the crispy chicken and the kraken!

We weren't sure what to expect since Chops advertises itself as Asian fusion. Our first impression wasn't great. The restaurant felt very bare and a bit cold, and ordering is entirely through a self-service kiosk. The biggest issue was the menu--many items had no photos or descriptions, so unless you already know what they are, it's a bit of a guessing game. If customers are expected to order from a kiosk, every item should have a picture and a brief description. I ended up playing it safe and ordering the chicken katsu because it was something I recognized. It also seemed like the only option for water was to purchase bottled water. That said...the food completely changed our opinion. The chicken katsu was a tad dry, but! It waa crispy, crunchy, and tasty. The sauces were a nice touch (on the side), the rice was perfectly prepared, and everything tasted fresh. We were genuinely surprised by how good it was. We had originally planned to eat here just to hold us over before going back to the sushi restaurant, but after finishing our meal, we were completely satisfied and didn't feel the need to go anywhere else. Overall, the food exceeded our expectations. I'd definitely recommend improving the kiosk experience with better photos and descriptions, but based on the quality of the food alone, we'd absolutely come back. Clean establishment and the guy tidying up the place was friendly.

It is their specialty and they do it well, from the skin to the fillings. In my opinion, they are much better than dough zone. However, their pot stickers, steamed, and boiled ones, are all the same type, so be aware not to order too many dumplings, mix in some noodle or pancakes dishes to avoid one note. My only complaint to the menu is they don't offer much wide veggie dishes. The only thing is the cucumber salad, which is only a ok dish.

Delivery review In…read moreshort We finally started to satisfy our craving for kimchi fried rice, and theirs is excellent, as is the soup. A little expensive, but they have good specials. You really taste the spice if you ask for it. In long We've been talking about kimchi fried rice for 3 weeks, and finally got an order in. We're trying to cook at home more these days, but we opened the app and we were total suckers for the special. It was just a few bucks off, but when we built the order, it was 2-for-1, so we have an awesome pile of leftovers now. Showed up fast, still plenty hot. Kimchi fried rice Awesome chewy texture, great spicy tart kimchi flavor, savory fried egg on top with extra seasoning just on the egg. We got our 2-for-1 on the rice, and the portion is pretty big, so we will get at least 4 servings out of this. Tofu mushroom soup Ordered 4 stars, and there's actual noticeable kick to it, which not every place does. Excellent flavors. For $25, 2 little cups doesn't seem like much, so if I see that 2-for-1 again I might put it in on the soup instead of the rice. We're trying to think of delivery these days as a rare treat, and this place more than met the mark. We had a dozen other dishes in the cart before we could make up our minds, too. The whole menu here looks great.

The best thing to get here if you have a larger group of three to five people is the combo meals which include a variety of entrees with the side dishes that can fill you up. Unjustified service charge. We were a party of 5. Your own policy adds a mandatory service charge for parties of 6 or more. We were still charged 20% automatically , then handed a tip prompt suggesting another 20%+ on top. That's not a policy, that's a shakedown. We were overcharged. My physical bill read $205. My bank notification said $215. When I went back to question it, staff kept pointing me to a digital bill that showed a different amount than what I had in hand. After pushing back, they acknowledged the discrepancy and offered my mom and me $10 InChin gift cards each as resolution. The gift cards were a trap. They came with a 10-day expiration. I live my life , I can't guarantee I'll return within 10 days, especially after this experience. So that $10 "resolution" is money I'll never see again. I was charged $10 extra AND a service charge I shouldn't have paid. This wasn't a mistake. Mistakes get fixed transparently. This was a string of decisions that benefited the restaurant at the customer's expense and when caught, the "fix" was designed to keep the money anyway. I've recommended this place to friends and family for years. That stops now.

Solid offering. Plenty of different sauces to season to taste. We started with the American Salt and Pepper corn. That was my favorite dish of the meal - a tasty and fun offering. Nice to have something a little different and this one delivered. Spicy and savory. Loved it. We also ordered the yellow curry with chicken. It was good - flavorful and filling. Next up was the Singapore noodles. They were ok but somewhat lacking in "pop" vs. what you might get in a dedicated Chinese restaurant. The last item was the Black Pepper beef. Good but a little bland as well. If I come back I'll definitely order the Salt and Pepper Corn again and explore more of the Indian inspired dishes. I get the feeling that they are stronger in that department vs. the Chinese influenced offerings. The waitstaff was very good - kudos for taking care of us.
