    Pork bulgogi

Not your typical run of the mill teriyaki joint. This place is pretty legit with real pieces of meat that taste like meat and is decently juicy. We ordered take out and got teriyaki chicken (breast) and a Katsura chicken and it was really good and large portions. It does cost more than the typical joints but you get such a better product. The pork bulgogi was really good as well. They are only take out as a result of Covid. I hope they do fine in again one day. Overall I will be back and you should give this place a try. Will not disappoint!

1st time trying Solid and the teriyaki is pricey, but fantastic. Chicken Katsu and Spicey Teriyaki are great and portions are decent. The only reason for the semi-negative review is the piss poor attitude of the kid helping us. We had questions about the menu and he seemed irritated like we were bothering him in his empty restaurant and never once looked at us or cracked a smile until we left. Sad stuff considering how good the food is.

Try the far east Philly sandwich. Unique, flavorful, and the dipping broth and Mac salad are nice touches too. Was too hungry for it to capture the best picture, it's sooo good.

We came in here to just get a bubble tea but damn it smelled good. We ended up getting Mongolian Beef and a Spider Roll. The Mongolian Beef was very tendee with zero fatty pieces. Great flavor as well. Spider Roll was tasty and a good size. To say we went from a $5 bubble tea to a $31 meal and were really glad we did says something. Thumbs up, Solid.

We've gone now a few times and I am updating my review to 5. I was a bit harsh in my original review on customer service. The gentleman (owner) is pretty cool. I think he's being himself which is respecting customer's space as they come in and extending courtesies when we're ready to order. Not everyone can be bubbly (I know I can't!). Great food all the time.

A SOLID NO from me. Gave this place 3 chances and I'm over it. First time wasn't very memorable, I had ordered the Not So Pulled Pork and have had better bulgogi sandwiches (shout out to 9 Delicacies). Went again and tried the Far East Philly which comes with a dipping sauce. The bread was more toasted than I would like and it destroyed my mouth, plus they barely gave me any sauce. I mentioned it to the cashier (guess he's actually the business manager) and he just kind of laughed and was like "yeah, I told them they needed to put more but wouldn't do it" and said that wasn't the norm. I just shrugged it off because overall it tasted good. Months had passed and I decided I wanted to come here again. Same guy was on the phone so we stood there for a little bit and while on the phone he asked if it was for here or to go. We said here, I ordered the Far East Philly again and requested the bread be lightly toasted since it destroyed my mouth last time. He laughed at me and was acting like my request was ridiculous and said "it's going to be toasted either way, we can't control how toasted it gets". I was pretty shocked seeing as other places do not have any problem with taking it out earlier than usual to make it less toasted. I just said "okay.. " and he was like "you still want it"? I said yes because honestly nothing else on their menu looked interesting. We also ordered 2 drinks and he didn't give us any cups, so I went up to the soda fountain where there were cups and got some soda. He was like "you know you need to pay for soda, right"? And I said, "well we ordered 2 drinks.." and he laughs again and was like "oh yeah I was on the phone with Door Dash and forgot", and proceeds to give us different cups. Food was okay and bread was less toasted but not that good or worth it when you get this kind of service. Update: As you can see, the same person responded to my review and it's all very condescending, sarcastic, and defensive. That's the kind of service you'll be getting.

Wondering if the food was a fluke on our first visit we returned and oh boy, did these guys drop…read morethe ball. The food here is good and worth the drive if you are in the county, but I am dropping my review to 3 stars based on all the issues between both visits. On this visit, we came for dinner. Dinner specials are about 20% more than lunch. You certainly expect a larger portion and, in most cases, the dinners include an egg roll or BBQ pork or something to round out the meal. That was not the case here. Nope, this was just soup entrée and rice and the portion was not larger than the lunch portion. That was the first issue. The second was not having out water refilled, AGAIN. When we asked for water, the woman had an attitude and the customer waiting for his take out said, You, can grab a carafe from the cooler. I had seen them, but not only was one never offered to us, it should have been placed on the table for dine in. A reviewer called the Almond chicken weird. It's not weird, they just use the same process as the sweet and sour chicken instead or pounding out a breast. I've had it this way a few times and actually like it. Each piece is about the size of a Starbursts, but once battered, it puffs up to a fun size Snickers bar. The advantage is a fully coated, crisp piece of chicken. The downside is it's an illusion. It makes a small portion of chicken look like a full-size portion. That said, the chicken was good, well seasoned, battered and cooked perfectly. That same take out customer asked for hot oil, the same thing I asked for on my first trip, the lady reached down and grabbed him a tiny cup. Yes, the same thing we were told they don't have on our first trip. WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON HERE! The final issue was the soup. As mentioned in my initial review, the hot and sour was really good, but when I asked about another cup, I was told I had to buy another lunch. So this time, based on reviews, I tried the wonton soup. It was about $7 and it was in the same size cup as the lunch soup, so maybe 10 oz or even 8. It was packed with 4 wontons, it also had bamboo and carrots and another vegetable that may have been zucchini It was good, but not as good as the hot and sour and not worth the price. This is a $3 cup of soup, not a bowl, either lower the price or increase the portion. The food is an A, but the service is an F. They are inconsistent and since we have been the only dine in customer's on both trips, I guess all your take out people have a different experience. If this place was in our neighborhood, we would get take out, not dine in and we would be selective about what we order. I think the food is 5 star, but everything else is an issue. When you can't trust the people serving you, it's hard to fall in love with a place.

I've been aware of the Seattle location because of the cute name, like mountain bao, but never visited. Lynnwood (Mill Creek) area is a bit more convenient, so decided to stop by. Kind service, mainly taking orders and dropping off food, but was pleasant. Green Beans - solid green beans! No meat but stir fried well. A bit pricey but a solid shareable portion. I'd love a version with some meat but I can appreciate being vegetarian friendly. Pan Fried Pork Bao - sadly no soup in this pan fried bao. I think there was too much bread because everything was very doughy while the actual pork was tiny in comparison. If there was more meat then maybe the extra large dough would be okay. On the bright side I guess this is a filling item with the carbs. Xiaolongbao - Unfortunately, 2 out of 8 XLB were ripped and the soup spilled in the steamer. Those ones were extremely sad and disappointing. However, even the remaining 6 XLB didn't have that much soup. I would skip the XLB here which sucks because the place literally has bao in the name. Shu Mai - tasty, hearty, comfy, and satisfies the craving perfectly. Large and scrumptious, as delicious as any dim sum spot. Highly recommend because I was shocked, not expecting much.

Chinnie's food is always solid so why wouldn't everyone want to order from there? They have two sections, one is where people can sit and enjoy their meal and the other looks like there are tables along with a bar to sit at for drinks. Both areas were busy and the spot for take out seemed slammed. I ended up waiting about 45 minutes after my eta for my food, but here is the thing, while I was waiting I saw the staff hustling to get food out, orders taken and drinks filled. Everyone I encountered was working fast and friendly. Whatever time we waited was totally worth it, the food was hot, correct and delicious. The staff was fantastic all while working under pressure, missing time from their loved ones and dealing with issues. If you haven't tried Chinnie's Kitchen, please do. If they can make a packed Christmas wait pleasant, I can't imagine how amazing they are on a regular, less busy day.

We started with the pumpkin tempura. It was crispy on the outside, with a naturally sweet pumpkin inside. It was really delicious. It came with a dipping sauce, though the portion felt quite small. The side of lettuce and a chunk of purple cabbage felt a bit odd presentation wise, but once we wrapped everything together and dipped it, it tasted great. For my main, I ordered the vegan herb tofu salad with medium spice. It was mostly fried tofu tossed in a herb dressing with mint, tamarind, and cilantro. The flavor was a mix of sweet, spicy, and tangy. It honestly reminded me a bit of pani puri. That said, the sweetness was a bit overpowering and made the dish slightly sticky. If they toned that down, it would be perfect. We also tried the vegan 17th curry fried rice, which was good. The curry flavor was subtle. My toddler absolutely loved it. Overall, I would recommend this place, especially for vegans. The food was good, with the only downside being that some dishes leaned a bit too sweet for my taste. The service was okay, not exceptional, but not bad either. I had visited this place about three years ago on a busy Friday night and had a pretty poor service experience, so I wanted to give it another shot on a weekday. The food has improved, and the service was decent this time around.
