    General Tsao's Bento Box
    Kathy X.

I ordered Bento Time through Ubereats and I was pleasantly surprised! I think they're fairly priced, as I had some leftovers after, which rarely ever happens! I got the General Tsao's chicken, with brown rice. It comes with a standard bento box salad, 2 pieces of katsu shrimp, 4 California rolls, 2 gyoza, and 1 egg roll. There's a ton of variety, and everything was pretty good! This is such a good meal for those of you who like a bit of variety. A couple complaints I have is with their menu on the Ubereats app, it's just a little confusing to know exactly what's being offered in each box. And getting brown rice was an extra $1.50 and there wasn't that much rice! My boyfriend ordered the extra large bento box and he got the same small scoop of rice as I did, but twice as much meat, so it would've been nice if he got a little more rice too.

This place has a variety of food to choose from and they have a very neat digital menu. The ambiance is very soothing with the music they play, very classy. I love how they have complimentary water, tea and the choice of miso and egg flower soup (which is very delicious ) i ordered the chicken teriyaki and I was glad to know that they have a smaller bowl option since I don't like to waste food so I don't like to order more than what I eat. This is one of the cleanest teriyaki place I have been too in a while and the women who take the orders are very friendly, I definitely will be coming back!

I normally go to Nori Presto for teriyaki near work but I was in the mood to try something new. I read the reviews on Yelp for Bento Time and I'm glad we went. There were so many choices and our food came really quick. On the menu it says they offer free delivery for orders over 5 people and a free can of soda! Next time my coworkers & I will have to do that. Free tea and Free Miso soup is included when dining in. I had the small bento and left fully satisfied. It had teriyaki chicken, salad, rice, 2 potstickers and 2 tempura shrimp and one spring roll. Seating/tables were clean, and I didn't feel the need to grab my food & get out of there. Only weird thing was that they charged 50 cents for soda refills. For the huge profit people make off soda, this didn't seem necessary. But, I will definitely be back.

    chicken teriyaki delivery...the half portion.

In my opinion, you haven't fully experienced the aerospace culture in the area until your coworker has gotten you in on a group lunch order of chicken teriyaki from this place. They never fail to deliver teriyaki that is still hot. The portions, if ordering the full, are ginormous (scientific term). The price is right -- and I think you get even more than what you paid for. For starving engineers, this place is a godsend. Despite the great value, it's simply not the best teriyaki I've had in the area. That may be due to my personal preference, and should not stop you from trying it out!

So they must have ironed out opening kinks because we had a better experience this time around. The katsu we ordered were all good. The rosu pork is my preferred cut, because it is a little fattier than the tenderloin. It was tender and crunchy outside. I loved the grated radish. One of us got the salmon katsu and she loved it. It was a thick slice, but it looked moist inside. Our server was really nice and knowledgeable with her suggestions. The food came out without much wait, even if they were about 80% full. The server was attentive, always asking us how our food was and refilling our ice waters. Love the space and tasty, simple decor of this restaurant. There's covered parking attached to the apartment complex above. This place is surely comparable to the other katsu places here in Seattle. I'm glad it's in our neighborhood.

It was light and fluffy and full of flavor. It came with a traditional cabbage salad which was very refreshing. The udon curry was right up my wife's alley, and I do like curry but I'm not the biggest udon noodle fan. It still was very full of flavor and delicious. Side note, the dressing or sauce that was in the table was let me say to die for. We put it on everything. If I had it on hand all the time it would probably be a condiment that I used on a very regular basis. The service was top notch and our server was very sweet and patient. We took awhile to look over the whole menu and there are so many things that I would come back for just to try. The only let down was the edamame as it is a staple that we usually order at any restaurant when available. They were very hot and cold and felt like it was a frozen edamame that was nuked in the microwave. The establishment itself was very modern looking with a very clean vibe. We will definitely be back. This is definitely a spot in lynnwood that needs more love from people. Then again, it could be packed all the time, but we were there very early on Mother's Day.

We came in the evening after day 2 of Geekfest and it was pretty busy inside. Luckily there was a spot open for two so we were seated and given menus. The inside is a bit dim, there were lots of tables with chairs or booth seats throughout, and there was even bar seating as well. My boyfriend ordered tonkotsu ramen and crunchy salmon roll as well as takoyaki to share while I got their red volcano tonkotsu and a Thai iced tea. I noticed there was a Japanese customer who spoke with one of the waitresses and she spoke Japanese back and it was cool to see and hear that! I wonder if the owners are Japanese as well as it's rare to find actual Japanese owned restaurants. The service here was friendly, courteous and they did check in every so often. The choice of music playing was quiet cafe music which was interesting but it was so hard to hear. My Thai iced tea came first then the takoyaki. Afterwards, our ramen bowls came not too long after that and the sushi roll came in last. I am so happy to say that the takoyaki was the perfect ratio of batter, octopus, and sauces on top. The ramen broth was hearty and smooth. I loved how spicy my red volcano tonkotsu was especially because I love things extremely spicy and it was definitely a fantastic ramen for spicy lovers. My boyfriend said he was very happy with his roll and ramen. He usually doesn't order ramen too often especially on a hot day but he said he was happy he did as it was one of the better ones he's had. My Thai iced tea was the right amount of sweetness and the perfect thing to sip on while handling my spicy ramen. I definitely want to come back to try their other selections.

I was looking for dinner in the area and happened to stumble upon this bento spot on Google Maps. After a quick look through the photos, menu, and reviews, it seemed worth trying, and I'm so glad I did. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento, and after trying it, I can confidently say this is one of the most generously portioned and thoughtfully put-together bentos I've had in a while. The chicken was juicy, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The attention to detail across the whole box really stood out, from the egg maki with crab stick to the pickled assorted veggies, yakisoba, radish, and a mountain of perfectly crunchy assorted tempura. Every component felt intentional and well executed. Beyond the food itself, which delivered on quality, flavor, and portion size, the presentation was great and the interior was extremely tidy and well kept. I got my order to go, and I really appreciated that they had seating available for takeout customers. The owner, I believe, who took my order was also incredibly friendly and patiently waited while I decided what to get. That kind of hospitality really adds to the experience. Between the excellent food and the warm service, this spot deserves way more attention. Honestly, if a place like this were located closer to downtown, like South Lake Union, Queen Anne, Fremont, or Madrona, it would easily become one of the most popular teriyaki spots around. I'm already looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu next time. There is ample parking around the plaza which is excellent as well!
