Amazing family owned small restaurant with amazing Teriyaki! Great service friendly faces and always yummy food.

We ordered a fried rice two fried rice we ordered two fried rice and one Singapore rice noodle. I asked for light heat and there was no heat at all. for $50 bill they should've made extra rice or something. It should've fed two or three adults and a child. Who is no one else eating there. I don't think that I would go back. We were at the vets and starving and we could just get it in that parking lot and head home. read more

Best teriyaki in the area. Truly remarkable customer service, the cashier was a sweet lady. The restaurant was super clean and felt super welcoming. They were out of salad, so they gave us extra meat. I usually struggle eating rice from teriyaki places, but the rice was so fresh and delicious. Will be coming back everytime I want teriyaki! read more

Midori Teriyaki - Chicken teriyaki Gyoza combo - Japanese Near Me - Lake Stevens, Washington

Not good and expensive for product. The sweet and sour chicken, well didn't get eaten.

Our daughter was visiting and asked where the best teriyaki place was. I of course suggested here and told her the sauce is the best. We barely waited 10 minutes for our lunch order. She agreed how good it was. This is our go to teriyaki place for Lake Stevens! read more

Fast service. Staff always super helpful and friendly. Oh, and the food, absolutely delicious!! In fact we are so impressed with the food we are branching out to different menu items instead of just our go to meals. Thank you Midori. read more

They didn't give me the right order and when I asked for my money back they did not give it to me

Not the best teriyaki or quality. The restaurant could also use an upgrade on signage and interior. The teriyaki was sauce laden. The fried rice was really oily. It is a convenient location and the service was on time as stated. read more

We moved to Lake Stevens a year ago and recently discovered this teriyaki joint. We were surprised at all the excellent reviews and gave it a try. We've gone twice so far. First visit we ate the spicy teriyaki meal. The second visit I tried the combo of chicken Katsu and General Tsao Chicken. Pros: OMG my combo was amazing and flavorful. The chicken Katsu was nice and crispy and I do like white chicken. The general Tsao sauce was bursting with flavor. I ate my whole meal and one sitting. They do take decent time prepping meals which means they cook fresh and want to put out quality food! Cons: My husband and I have one construction criticism: there needs to be more spice sauce on the spicy chicken. We've ordered the spicy chicken twice now and both times were dry on the sauce. The soy sauce that they include helps. We'll be coming back!!! The general Tsao is just amazing! And this is coming from a Korean read more

First time going here. I ordered spicy chicken and pork with stir fried vegetables. Everything was very good and fresh. They made their own teriyaki sauce which was delicious. Decent sized portion. Definitely coming back. read more

Service, food, ambiance of restaurant was very nice. I called an order in for pickup. Ordered spicy teriyaki and vegetable fried rice. She asked for me to pay cash and I did to help them with business. They have been located here in Lake Stevens for 20+ years. My first time trying and they didn't disappoint. I've had a lot of teriyaki in my life and when I showed up to pick up she opened the boxes and showed me and offered to put sauce on my white rice served with the spicy teriyaki and I said yes and so glad I did. Sauce homemade from here was delicious. Everything was spot on, hot and taste was delicious. Try them! Huge dining room with lots of extras like tea and water and very friendly staff. read more

We order from Midori at least once per week, their food is tasty and the staff is so friendly!

Clean..amazing chicken teriyaki..great prices..quick..family ran and owned I eat there once a week!

Love the food I've been coming here since 2008 atleast. Quick friendly service with the little hometown feel on the inside! Always find myself craving their food! And shoutout for always being a sponsor for the local disc golf tournaments Go to order beef and pork yaki combo spicy with fried rice and order of gyoza can't go wrong love everything I've had though. 100% get fried rice with your order. One of favorite fried rices read more

Best teriyaki hands down. Been going here since I was in middle school. So about 22 years now I guess. Haven't tried the sushi but probably won't because I go somewhere else for great sushi. When I crave teriyaki though....I will always go here rather then any other place. I have tried many too because I'm obsessed with teriyaki. The only other place that I will go and is somewhat close to the quality and taste is Oishi in Everett. If I stay in lake Stevens though.....I don't care for the teriyaki diner by jack in box. Yumiko is usually to burned for me and isn't as tasty for some reason. Japan teriyaki on the south side of the lake is okay but not worth it in my opinion. read more

Apparently my vegetarian stir fry order was just a huge 3 course to go box of fried rice. My kids were happy with their chicken teriyaki while I ate my egg rolls. First time here, but I won't be going back. The cooks were sitting on the dirty floor in back playing cards. No masks in the kitchen at all. They gave us potstickers which was nice, but I wanted vegetarian stir fry. I paid for an entree, not the over abundance of fried rice. read more

Midori Teriyaki - That doesn't look like a vegetable stir fry to me - Japanese Near Me - Lake Stevens, Washington

I feel like this place has gone down hill. It used to be your run of the mill, hits the spot when the craving strikes kind of place here in lake stevens. But......... we tried it recently and the chicken was very fatty. The yokisoba was very very greasy and the rice was really over cooked. It was pretty expensive for the quality we got. I would suggest opting for another teriyaki place in town. read more

I have been coming here for 25 years since I was a kid. This is my fav teriyaki place. The owners are so nice. A nice Christian famiky with Bible verses us. The food is really good. The fried rice is the best I have ever had. Nice little hole in the wall. read more

Very good food, service and clean environment. Recommend the chicken teriyaki. The salad dressing is delicious! Very little seating. Recommend to go items. read more

I am sure this place is good, however I am a delivery driver and this was the first and only restaurant that was super rude! I arrived before pick up time which most places know some drivers do and they take a seat and wait not a big deal. Not with this place! As soon as I walked in the cook literally screamed in front of everyone THE FOOD IS NOT READY! YOU SAID 2:43!!! In front of the entire place! I hadn't even said a word just walked in. Another customer looked at him like he was crazy! It's not a big deal if the order isn't ready. Either way this is no way to treat anyone who comes into your establishment. I'm guessing he didn't want a bad rating because his food wasn't ready as soon a driver shows up. They give you a window of time for a reason. Well Mr. Midori Cook here's your 1 STAR. Learn to treat everyone who comes in with respect! read more

Little hole in tge wall but a staple none the less. Food is reliably good time after time. Cinvenient lication for the locals and reasonable prices read more

The food is good and done fast. I like the spicy chicken and orange chicken. They prefer cash but can take cards.

Love the atmosphere here. Food is fantastic. Chicken was very juicy. The bubble tea was great too. Definitely recommend the honey dew!

The food was absolutely appalling order for shrimp combo yakisoba was so full of sand and no other meat, if I ordered just mini shrimp they delivered with tons of sand which says the shrimp were improperly cleaned or prepared. The food overall in the past wasn't too bad but this time I'm looking into pressing charges due to improperly prepared seafood and improperly executed order. read more

I had teriyaki beef. The meat was soft and tender. So far, it is the best teriyaki place in the city. I definitely want to try other dishes. I called to place a ToGo order. Within 5 minutes or so, the order was ready. Quick service! read more

Best teriyaki in town, nothing really else to say :) its really good , sauce is the best teryaki sauce :) the Beef teriyaki is to die for. People are super nice that run it. Always have fresh food. The gyoza is really crispy and wonton soup is really authentic and flavorful. read more

Very nice people. Great Food and plenty of it. I liked the dressing on the salad. I've had teriyaki as well as Katsu. I did find the chicken breast teriyaki to be a bit dry maybe more sauce would've helped. The Gyosa is to die for. Try this place. read more

My only regret is that we've lived in LS for 5 years and this was the first time we've ordered from Midori! I got the spicy chicken teriyaki which was SPICY but in a good way (if you like heat). My husband got the Mongolian Beef which he also reported was "really good!" We will 100% be back again!! read more

Consistently good teriyaki joint tucked into a strip mall in Lake Stevens. I usually get the spicy chicken teriyaki with fried rice and it's got just the right amount of sweet, spice, and well-seasoned wok char to be really delicious. Gyoza is great as well. The dining room has zero ambience and they tend to play some pretty nauseating tunes on the stereo, but I always get my food to go anyway. Take-out service is quick and friendly. read more

Midori Teriyaki - This was before eating. - Japanese Near Me - Lake Stevens, Washington

Been a favorite since high school. Get a big portion for the price. Also love the chicken bowl if you're looking for a smaller portion.

We were starving trying to decide on what to grab for dinner (for 7 people), and my daughter's boyfriend was set on ordering from Midori's. I had only eaten food from here twice before, both times being in a rush and not ordering ahead. The previous two times our food took forever, because the place was busy and they had several to go orders, so I called in our lengthy order before I left home. I was convinced something would be incorrect on our order, just because there were so many items and it was hard to hear on the phone. When I arrived there were quite a few to go orders, but the lady at the counter greeted me with a huge smile and said my order was just coming up. She went over each item with me as she rang it up, and as she packed it in our bags. Each order was exactly as we had requested, and when we got home to eat, the food was delicious. 7 out of 7 happy eaters is unheard of around here! Pleased with the service and the food. ...will definitely be back! read more

Midori Teriyaki - Yum - Japanese Near Me - Lake Stevens, Washington

I am quite impressed with Midori Teriyaki, and relieved to finally have a decent teriyaki spot in the north end. I've seriously tried every teriyaki joint in Snoho and Lake Steven's and have been unsatisfied. Midori has friendly service, great prices and good food. The spicy chicken teriyaki is breast meat, not that gross thin fatty dark meat some places use. It also had a nice spice to it, but I could use more. The rice sticky and delicious, especially drizzled with some teriyaki sauce, which they bring to the table. The fried gyoza is a steal at 3.75 for 8 pieces. They were nice and crisp with a tasty juicy filling. Totally stop by if you're in the area, or if you're living in Snoho like me and looking for good teriyaki! read more
