Our first and only time here. It was $37 for one chicken teriyaki and one beef teriyaki. The chicken was cooked perfectly with a great char, the rice was completely saturated with sauce. The beef teriyaki was awful for $17. It was boiled slices of beef, and pieces of fat. Worst teriyaki and rice we've ever had. We eat teriyaki once a week at least and have tried it in various regions. This was the most disappointing experience we've ever had. read more

Okay I'm not usually one to get teriyaki when I go out to eat. But this place has changed my mind! This place is a takeout only restaurant, and it seems to be run just by a few people. When we got there, there was a line of people waiting for their food in the rain. Its massive menu is filled with comforting Asian food. I tried the chicken katsu and teriyaki, wow... the portion is insanely big! Definitely, each one is two meals -worth of food. That katsu was so crispy and hot and the chicken was cooked well. They gave two sauces that complemented the salad and the chicken, which I loved. There's a lot of rice too (lowkey 3 portions of rice for me). Also, the lady who gave us the food was soooo nice. Would 100% recommend based on my experience... I'm definitely way more open to try other teriyaki places now. read more

Never knew about this place until last night from my girl friend! I picked up dinner for her and her husband as well as mine. The place is pretty cool, kind of like a Dicks burger setting! Chicken teriyaki was very good as well as the crab rangoons. Their salad is with the entree and just lettuce with the sauce -- thought there'd be more like julienne carrots but it worked. Glad they had a side of French fries LOL I was craving that for some reason. The people/staff are so nice! The one that handed me my food order to go was concerned bc I took long to get my order. Food is good, the only thing is that sometimes maybe because of the teriyaki sauce it tends to be too sweet for me, even the yakisoba, but cooked perfectly as far as texture and the veggies added to it. Love the beef bulgogi, tender and seasoned just right, a bit on the sweet side too. Service: they're very nice, they're always busy especially if it's peak hours so don't go there hungry and ready to eat, you'll have to wait in line. Ok first off I've known about Oishi Teriyaki for years never ordered anything till tonight. I'm not making excuses but there are so many teriyaki places in the puget sound area but what I'm noticing is there's a few restaurants that more of a fusion including dishes like the beef bulgogi which I selected. Ok first impressions salad?? Mine was just roughly cut lettuce no carrots is cabbage with a little dressing. Well I didn't order it for the salad but that's kinda disappointing at least the bulgogi didn't disappoint. It has a rich savory flavor that is a nice complement to the thinly sliced beef. What I also like was the meat to vegetables ratio mainly meat!! The food was horrible. It's not where I wanted to go, but my daughter's girlfriend talked us into it. She can't eat hers and I can't eat mine. The rice is pasty. It's not like fried rice and the shrimp in mine is like one of the cans of tuna size shrimp, and my daughters. She won't eat it either and we ordered a large container of sweet-and-sour sauce and it wasn't full. We also didn't eat it because it was all time. It was all pineapple and peppers. There was really not enough to get the juice that we wanted out of it. I also got crab Rangoon and they're like ice cold and I should've got more for that one but no, we didn't get very much at all. I'm really mad we wasted I wasted over $70 and my daughter's girlfriend wasted like she likes the food so I guess who wasn't wasted It's the worst fried rice I have ever had in my life and I asked for extra green onion. Fantastic teriyaki, the best we've had in town so far. There are no dine-in options, it is purely takeout, but this adds to the charm. The chicken was grilled to perfection and the sauce was very savory. We tried the chicken katsu as well, but found that most of the panko was soggy by the time we got home from the steamy rice in the takeout container. I am not a fussy eater, especially Asian food, specifically teriyaki. You just cannot go wrong with teriyaki, right? Wrong!!! My husband and I had just moved, hadnt eaten all day, exhausted... We chose Oishis, because it was quick and easy take out and we love teriyaki! It was awful! The beef was all fat and gristle, so was my husbands pork, the rice was cold and obviously old, because half of it was crispy hard, the other half was mushy. The lettuce in the "salad" was brown-edged and drowny in oily white goo dressing. The teriyaki sauce, was not bad at all, but it could not cover up how bad the food was. I have never left a bad restaurant review before. I usually only review places and things that deserve the extra praise, for being excellent... this was so bad, it deserved this review. I had c1 combo. The portion is HUGE with lots of meat. More important, it tastes great. Not salty. It has a perfect combination of soy sauce and sweetness in the teriyaki sauce. Stopped by here for teriyaki and got an amazing lunch. Would definitely come by again. Got the C8 combo which is gyoza and chicken teriyaki with white rice and salad. The portion was huge - it was my lunch and dinner that day! The sauce they use for the chicken is perfection. They use the right combo of grilling on the chicken, just perfection. The rice was cooked right, not dry or old. The gyoza was spot on. Oishi is a stand so you either order ahead of time for a to go order or you walk up for take away. They have a couple benches and a picnic table to eat there. It's too bloody cold to eat outside in the winter so just take it with you. Saw a sign that they were voted the best teriyaki in 2019 for the county and a couple other signs for the same for other awards and voting competitions. Wait was short. Interaction was friendly. After a busy day of sprucing up the lawn we ordered takeout at Oishi Teriyaki via Yelp. The ordering process was extremely easy, and tracked the order as it was being prepared. Our selections were filled with flavor, I greatly appreciate the use of fresh vegetables, the chicken was lean, charred perfectly, the prawns are truly tempura style because of the extra breading, my husband and son loved the teriyaki sauce (even though paying for additional sauce resulting in a 1 Tablespoon size container,) and the rice/noodles were moist and fresh (not hard or chewy as if it had been sitting out all day.) We have been trying to find a teriyaki place since we moved to Everett and this may be it. I really like the sauce that they use. They are also very friendly. The portions are huge as well. The orange chicken wasn't my favorite but I wasn't looking for a Chinese place I was looking for a teriyaki place so next time I will just stick with teriyaki most likely. I was definitely skeptical at first. The menu was extremely varied and the place seemed a little worn. I was a little confused by the prices , but nonetheless I ordered the Beef Short Ribs. I opened the box and was amazed by the sheer amount of meat. Definitely worth the price! The taste was phenomenal. The meat was tender, the marinade was slightly sweet, the sear was perfect. I especially like that they put the extra teriyaki sauce on the side -- many places just drench the plate with the sauce making me feel like teriyaki is extremely unhealthy. The sauce is quite ginger heavy, be warned. While the sad salad was a bit lacking, it was still fresh and crunchy. The service was fast and I most definitely enjoyed the quaint experience. Cheap but delicious teriyaki! I feel like teriyaki anywhere in Washington is good, some are hit or miss, but this place always satisfies the cravings! I usually always get the Chicken and Beef Short Ribs Teriyaki Combo, and ask for spicy chicken, which I think is like $1 extra or something. Chicken is always tender and juicy, and I love their side salad sauce even though it's the same for most teriyaki places. Their egg rolls are really good as well and so is the fried rice. We haven't really tried anything else but who really gets anything besides teriyaki at a teriyaki joint?? One bad thing I do have to say is that the short ribs are pretty thin but the price for the combo is decent, so I'm not complaining!
