Chicken Katsu
Jessica L.

Okay I'm not usually one to get teriyaki when I go out to eat. But this place has changed my mind! This place is a takeout only restaurant, and it seems to be run just by a few people. When we got there, there was a line of people waiting for their food in the rain. Its massive menu is filled with comforting Asian food. I tried the chicken katsu and teriyaki, wow... the portion is insanely big! Definitely, each one is two meals -worth of food. That katsu was so crispy and hot and the chicken was cooked well. They gave two sauces that complemented the salad and the chicken, which I loved. There's a lot of rice too (lowkey 3 portions of rice for me). Also, the lady who gave us the food was soooo nice. Would 100% recommend based on my experience... I'm definitely way more open to try other teriyaki places now.

Speedy service even at 11:30, and obviously a local favorite! I for one, feel like when a place is a walk up only to order it's going to be hot, fresh, and authentic! Some might call it "divey" but I think it's OG and awesome!

Have to get a menu to take home.

Food is good, the only thing is that sometimes maybe because of the teriyaki sauce it tends to be too sweet for me, even the yakisoba, but cooked perfectly as far as texture and the veggies added to it. Love the beef bulgogi, tender and seasoned just right, a bit on the sweet side too. Service: they're very nice, they're always busy especially if it's peak hours so don't go there hungry and ready to eat, you'll have to wait in line. Atmosphere: It's a to go store with few tables and chairs on the side, most people go there to buy and take food home, so if it's snowing, raining or muggy outside, call and order for pick up so you don't have to wait long.

I ate here recently and I got sick, so I went to the health inspection report to see if anyone else had concerns and here is what I found. https://snohomishonline.envisionconnect.com/#/pa1/detail/FA0001097/PR0000346?FacilityName=Oishi%20teriyaki&StreetName=Broadway&City=Everett&Zip=98201

Beef short ribs, chicken yakisoba

Great place. Food is so amazing. The beef short ribs was so tasty and not slammed with fat. The chicken yakisoba was well balanced and the noodles was on point with the flavor. Love the place. It's like a drive in teriyaki.

Ok first off I've known about Oishi Teriyaki for years never ordered anything till tonight. I'm not making excuses but there are so many teriyaki places in the puget sound area but what I'm noticing is there's a few restaurants that more of a fusion including dishes like the beef bulgogi which I selected. Ok first impressions salad?? Mine was just roughly cut lettuce no carrots is cabbage with a little dressing. Well I didn't order it for the salad but that's kinda disappointing at least the bulgogi didn't disappoint. It has a rich savory flavor that is a nice complement to the thinly sliced beef. What I also like was the meat to vegetables ratio mainly meat!! My wife who picked up the order said that they were busy for Tuesday night so a little wait but not bad we'll be back for sure!

They have the best deluxe fried rice, the best. My only complaint is they're always busy.

Ordered for pick up and got home with tiny portions of dry beef and rice. Absolutely zero sauce was used in the making of this meal.

You can't go wrong with Oishi's. It's a once a week stop for us and you get enough for two meals!

The space itself offers incredible views that elevate the entire meal. Just a heads-up: parking can be a bit tricky to find, and given its popularity, you'll definitely want to secure a reservation before heading in. To kick off the drinks, the Weyerhaeuser Old Fashioned was fantastic--the added smoke gave it a rich, deeply satisfying depth. We also had the Hot Tea, which made for a nice, comforting palate cleanser throughout the meal. For small plates and appetizers, the Steak & Cheese Lumpia was a definitive highlight--crispy, savory, and something you should not miss. The Spicy Won Ton delivered great heat and incredible depth of flavor, while the Jalapeño Dumplings were solid on their own, but truly came alive with an extra splash of chili sauce. Moving on to the main courses, the Szechuan Sea Bass was another undeniable star of the night--vibrant, wonderfully prepared, and highly recommended. On the other hand, the Chicken Kung Po was a bit hit-or-miss, as certain portions of the dish carried an off-putting aroma that took away from the overall experience. We finished on a sweet note with the Sweet Egg Bao, a delightful treat that's well worth trying to round out the feast.

We were the party of two and were charged an extra $30 and the party of four was charged an extra $47. Then we were expected to pay a tip as well. I did, but was not happy. I may be naive and I have never heard of such a charge before. I don't consider 6 a large table! We don't know if we will ever be back.
