You have to turn sideways (not kidding) to read the menu. It's simple--a few proteins, served a few different ways, also available as combos. Most of their business is to-go orders. There's a cooler of pops and a couple sports drinks, and there's lovely classical music on the speakers somewhere. I listened to a pretty sonata for piano and string quartet while I waited and ate. The lady is super nice, a woman of few words and constant activity. She's answering the phone, grabbing online orders, and smiling at walk-ins. I got a pop and the spicy chicken combo. There's Sriracha on the counter. The miso was solid, and the salad had a little more than the usual iceberg and shreds in it. Some leaf lettuce, too! The chicken is super moist and nicely flavorful, but even getting the Spicy I still hit the Sriracha pretty hard. Amazing flavor and texture even without the scoring from the grill. I ate more than half of it before it occurred to me that some smoky grillness might be nice, so nothing's missing here. The rice is soft and chewy, solid light flavor, plenty of moisture still in it. Fresh made for sure. Prices here are right in line with everybody else. Looks like their KFC is a big hit and I might have to be back for that.

I'd guess her portion was about 3oz of chicken and 100g of rice along with the other half of the salad. As for the taste, it was perfect. The chicken was moist and flavorful without the sauce being overpowering and it was just the right amount. When I came to pick up the gentleman who answered the phone was just bringing it out (the quoted time was spot on) and he was really nice, even chatting with me about my One Piece sweater. The interior is really cute and very clean. We will definitely be ordering from here again.

The sushi also cannot be missed: my Hawaiian roll (tuna heavy) was exceptional, both the spicy tuna and tuna atop tasted fresh and the roll was well constructed and balanced. Service was superb: my order was taken and within 5-7 minutes my food was delivered to my table. I was also checked in on several times for any concerns, of which there were none. The restaurant itself is cutely decorated, with small details that mimics dinner spots in Japan. I plan to come back to Yoshi Teriyaki whenever I'm in Edmonds/Everett, and I recommend you do as well.

I've had their teriyaki, both regular and spicy - can't go wrong there - and also their General Tso chicken. GREAT portions and most entrees in the $7 range. I've heard the noodles are good. I was NOT AT ALL into their wonton soup - heavy on the cabbage and veggies. read more

Portions were too small for the price. Ordered spicy chicken teriyaki. They charge $1 more and all they do is put hot chili sauce on top of ordinary chicken teriyaki. I could have just saved a dollar and put the sauce on by my self. Don't think I will return. read more
