Ever since the teriyaki place closed in the Everett Mall, we have been on the hunt for a new place. We have tried lots of places, but they all leave something to be desired. Not Go!Go! though. I don't have a single complaint. I called ahead to order and spoke with the guy who answered the phone, he was really nice and extremely helpful. I was ordering for my husband, daughter, and myself and was trying to decided if I wanted to get 1 order to share with my daughter or two mini orders. He explained the difference, and checked the price to see which was more cost efficient. We ended up getting two regular orders. The regular orders are HUGE. It was enough for me and my 10 year old to share, with enough leftovers for her to have it for lunch. I measured mine out at 5oz of chicken, 150g of rice, and half the salad. I'd guess her portion was about 3oz of chicken and 100g of rice along with the other half of the salad. As for the taste, it was perfect. The chicken was moist and flavorful without the sauce being overpowering and it was just the right amount. When I came to pick up the gentleman who answered the phone was just bringing it out (the quoted time was spot on) and he was really nice, even chatting with me about my One Piece sweater. It was hard to understand the person taking the order, and both teriyakis had way too much sauce--even when separated, they were still overly saucy, especially the spicy one. This is one of my favorite food places of all time across the globe. The slightly hidden aspect of it, the small staff, the street it's on -- all play into this idea it might not be amazing. Wow... just wow. This place is a true jewel of customer experience and gastronomic delight. The evening began... like any other... low clouds in the sky. The sun - no where to be found... I'm sitting on the couch, arguing impatiently with my wife about what to get for dinner. She wanted... cheese ravioli - super randomly. I wanted something that was actually interesting or new (ha ha!). So, we decided to do the thing all couples hate worst in this world - just get two different things. Dun dun dunnnnn! The place my wife chose was in the Everett Mall area, so I decided to at least pick something close by. This place had amazing reviews. I was sort-of skeptical because it's just a teriyaki place! How good could it *really* be that good? Well, I think my first line of this review indicated I was patently wrong. In the Yelp profile, I saw a note from the owner that mentioned that Korean Kalbi-style ribs were one of their specialties. Okay... things are getting interesting! On the way to pick up my wife's food, I called Go Go to place my takeout order from the car. The person taking the order was extremely nice - apologized for a wait of 15-20 mins and asked if that'd be okay for me. I confirmed. When I got there, the man asked if I was who I was - as if anticipating me to be there at that exactly correct time. So nice! He mentioned he loved the ribs and usually ate them like a steak - with a fork and knife. Good tip! I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki and Ribs combo - comes with rice and salad. When I got it home, I was happy to see they packed the meat and rice without saucing it too much (sauce in a little plastic cup on the side). Score! No soggy mess! Also, that'd be a good bonus if you were eating in your car - much less messy that way. I dug into the ribs first - they were SO TENDER and slathered perfectly in sauce. Just a hint of char, super tender, a little fatty. Wow. So great. I'd seriously come here just for these things. But wait... it gets better. The chicken, while it was second fiddle to the perfect ribs, were NO SLOUCH. They were absolutely cooked to perfection - moist without being dry; a little charred; sauced appropriately. The meat was a delight, and the sauce was on the sweeter side, but still really good - sticky, sweet, soy-ee... everything you want. I ended up using most of the extra sauce for the rice. Made the whole meal just... amazing. The salad was fairly plain (dressing was also packed on the side) - which was a nice reprieve from the intense salty/sweet/meaty mains. The dressing was pretty sweet - I assume it's the same one everyone uses, or at least it tasted that way. Good, though! In the end, I reflected on this tiny strip mall Teriyaki place with amazing customer service and food that could rival anything in the Seattle metro. I'll definitely be back for more. read more

There are countless Teriyaki restaurants in our immediate area, Go!! Go!! Teriyaki caught my attention by the stellar Yelp reviews and distance from our location. The first thing I noticed, and it actually caught me off guard was the FANTASTIC & EXTREMELY POLITE customer service provided (this is rare, but very refreshing.) My husband really enjoyed his chicken teriyaki, he mentioned how the ratio of sauce to meat was perfect. The Yakisoba was good, a little salty for my preference but loaded with fresh vegetables (which I greatly appreciate.) The flavors of the fried rice was really good, with a lot of crispy vegetables. This is my go-to teriyaki place now and it perfectly passes all the tests i have: offers spicy chicken, serves quality rice (lot of people overlook this), actually cooks to order (doesn't reheat or use par-cooked chicken) and has good customer service. it's not the cheapest but i'm struggling to remember any examples of the cheapest restaurants being the best, so i'd say it's well worth the cost. i think it's mostly to-go now but i think you can eat at the window counter but it's pretty limited on seating read more

There are a lot of teriyaki restaurants in Everett. A LOT. We've tried quite a few and a couple were alright but let me tell you, GO!! GO!! Teriyaki is THE BEST you'll find!! We've tried so many items and every single thing has been delicious! The classic chicken is teriyaki is my favorite - it's super juicy and the sauce is perfect. My husband usually gets the beef but really likes the pork too. We ALWAYS get a large order of pork gyoza - they're so good! I've only just recently tried the pork egg rolls and I'm hooked on those now too. The owner is so nice! It seems like he cares about the quality of his food and cares about his customers. We've gotten takeout a couple times during this COVID pandemic and he's nice enough to bring our food out to our car when it's ready. This is the best teriyaki/Katsu place I've had. We consistently come in when we are in town. Downside- the chicken portions have dramatically decreased and now we have to pay extra for sauce. Prices have also increased. I understand some of this due to the way the world is looking right now. First of all, the staff is some of the nicest I've ever spoken to- both while ordering on the phone and also picking up our orders. We called ahead and they advised 15-20 mins until ready at pickup. Upon arrival, we did have a little bit of a wait, but not surprising as there were so many people also waiting. Food was tasty. The chicken breast was of good quality and portion size was large.
