I LOVE THIS PLACE! I agree with Crispy C. when it comes to being a hole-in-the-wall type of place but aren't most great food finds? [= I've been coming to this Teriyaki place for a couple years & it seizes to amaze me how they seem to remember my boyfriend & I time & time again. We didn't go here for a straight 2 years & guess what, when we came back they remembered us & our orders to the T! 1 Chicken Yakisoba no mushroom & 1 Beef Yakisoba. It's a ma & pa run shop so I need to give them all the support to make sure they stay in business. The place itself is always sooooo clean compared to most Teriyaki joints. So, I actually made a Yelp account just to review this amazing establishment. I've been going to this place for about seven years now, yes, SEVEN. Their food is amazing and the customer service is way more than you could ever expect coming from an tiny, ethnic, mom and pop restaurant, tucked away in a shady corner of Everett. My husband and I order take-out and it's the same thing every time. My husband gets the chicken and beef combo w/fried rice and I get the spicy beef w/fried rice. They know our order when we call now... They PACK the fried rice in, like, they literally cover the entire bottom of of the container. Then when you think it couldn't be possible to fit anything else, they pile on the meat. Tender meat. Along with the best, thick, teriyaki sauce on the side. For myself, it's easily 4 servings, my husband makes it 2. Now the best part, their salad dressing... I could go on for days about this stuff. I've looked up recipes and have tried to recreate it, but it always falls short. It's this creamy mayo-based dressing that is pretty much crack and we pour it over everything. Yes, we pay for extra. Now the people who run the place is this older Vietnamese couple who couldn't be sweeter. After you ring up, the lady always goes into the back and brings out a handful of dum dums. Good place all around, so try it. You won't be disappointed. P.S.--We made the mistake of going to a different teriyaki place because they were the only ones open on a Sunday....well, let's just say, we vowed to never stray again! read more

Just below average. The establishment is average. The menu is average. The food is slightly below average. The portions are pretty generous. In my opinion, a good test for a teriyaki place is either their yakisoba or their chicken teriyaki. I got the spicy chicken teriyaki. The flavor was a bit off. To make things even more odd was that the extra provided teriyaki sauce was.... gelatinous. Ordered over the phone right before closing and received extra large portions of FRESHLY made teriyaki beef and spicy chicken with fried rice. This food was absolutely delicious. The spicy chicken was not so spicy as in you could only taste a slight afterburn if that but boy was it good chicken! I will be back to try more items from the menu. My family heard this place had the "best" teriyaki in Everett and we live very close. Simply not true. The taste was not a normal taste for teriyaki and one of our orders required all white meat chicken and that was not what we received at all, so pretty much wasted food and money. Warm, friendly, inviting atmosphere. The place was small, but well managed and staffed. Food arrives freshly prepared and quickly and tastes great. Prices are a steal, too, which never hurts. I had to wonder when I went into the restaurant and it was empty on a Friday at noon. I ordered the chicken teriyaki (there was no brown rice option unfortunately) and an order of egg roll. The egg roll was actually very good, hence 3 instead of 2 stars. However, there was no fresh sweet and sour sauce, only the packets available. The chicken teriyaki was ok at best; very unremarkable. I would give this a 4 star just based on generous portion sizes and friendliness. It was also very clean! However the teriyaki was jelly like and the chicken was ...well... No one works the front desk, and there is no way to let them know you're there (the bell is on the counter BEHIND the ordering point well out of reach). The cheif will see you, but won't say anything. I waited 10 min for someone to show up to take my order and no one did, so I left. Some of the worst Teriyaki I've ever had. Just bland, ordered spicy chicken and it was neither spicy nor sweet, it just was the most boring bite of food. The salad dressing was almost solid and gloppy it was so mayonnaisey and sugary, like there was no rice vinegar in it at all. They didn't have brown rice as an option either, which I thought was kind of standard now. l have no idea why this place has such good reviews, I trusted them and was very disappointed. read more

This place is great! I looked it up on Yelp before going and all the terrific compliments are true. I can hardly wait to try everything on their menu. The food is not only delicious but you will be amazed with the portions. They gave me two forks for my order of teriyaki chicken and I knew why when I opened it, it was huge!
