I've been here many times and live in Lake Stevens, the food has always been good, but recently it's just been okay. The last 2 times I got the fried rice with vegetables it's literally been a container of steamed rice with the thawed carrots and peas mixed in. Definitely not the same as before, and in no way does it resemble or taste like "Fried Rice" . Very disappointing and I could have done this at home for $5 bucks. The food here tastes the best in my opinion than the other options around here. Ive tried the beef, chicken, gyoza, crab Rangoon, yakisoba, and sesame chicken.. none of them disappointed me taste wise and I would order any of them again. One other thing I appreciate about the food here is, just like many restaurants the prices have gone up and it can be pretty pricey... That being said many other restaurants have raised their price but also cut down on the quantity of food they give you. Teriyaki diner has raised their prices, but the quantity of food never seems to have changed.. Between two people we can order a teriyaki and a yakisoba and still have enough for leftovers the next day. I also appreciate that they give you lettuce and a drink with your order.. although keep in mind it's not for all orders. I wanna say the yakisoba doesn't come with the salad but the teriyaki does, but I'm only like 80% sure. Teriyaki Diner not only offers delicious high quality food, but great customer service. We recently ordered take out, and when we got home realized they made our order incorrectly. I called to just let them know, not expecting anything to come from it. Without hesitation they offered to remake it. We were unable to go back due to having to go to work. Second best to Teriyaki Bowl but still WAAAAAAY better than Jackpot Teriyaki, that place is garbage. Teriyaki Bowl has great quality meat nearly the level of Teriyaki Bowl. NEARLY. But this place is a great alternative to TB. Just, whatever you do, DO NOT go to Jackpot Teriyak. The meat they serve is chewy, full of connective tissue, sinewy and difficult to keep down. Finally getting around to reviewing last Friday's dinner selection, talked my wife into picking up on the way home. I've been meaning to order from here sooner but will definitely be sure to make this a more regular thing. The restaurant is located in a strip mall so parking isn't a concern, we call ahead of time so our oder is waiting when my wife shows up. She says that the employees are friendly and that the restaurant is clean. I wanted to try the Chicken Rice Cup Fusion this time. It says on the menu that it's spicy but it wasn't overly hot at least to me it was so delicious that I almost forgot to get a picture. I like the selection and variety of the menu it's not your typical teriyaki restaurant I really enjoyed the two dishes I've had from the fusion part of the menu, you should give them a try a try! read more

The chicken breast teriyaki (from my last review) The chicken teriyaki (partners favorite dish) The spicy beef teriyaki- this may be my new favorite, it's thin and crispy and sweet and spicy The yakisoba (delicious and noodles were perfect) The gyozas- best ever and they give a great amount of sauce instead of the usual tiny portion cup The egg rolls- super crispy on the outside, flavorful on the inside. Only wish they would serve the hot and sour sauce in a portion cup vs the packets they provide because they're impossible to get open without getting messy. This is probably my favorite teriyaki place to go. I went to the teriyaki diner after hiking at the lake 22. It was such random place we stopped by, but the food was great. We ordered some entrees with spicy teriyaki chicken. Couldn't take a picture of the spicy chicken cuz we were so hungry, but I strongly recommend getting it. Amazing! I've had my fair share of teriyaki and this one is the best! Good portions, good service, good price! I ordered online and was given a 20minute wait. It was ready when I arrived. I was greeted with a smile and hello! I ordered 2 beef teriyaki and gyozas. Even after the wait and drive home, the gyozas were still crispy! One beef is regular which is a not too sweet yummy teriyaki sauce over a bed of rice. The one on the right is a "very hot" Spicy beef teriyaki. The spice was delicious and tolerable! I asked for some extra salad sauces and was given them no problem. Teriyaki has gotta have a lot of stringy fat right? Not this place! This meat is cut awesomely and I rarely got a piece of fat which is a huge win! Didn't even know it was possible. Price is average compared to other places maybe even a little cheaper. My bill was about $40 which seems to be the regular as of late! The restaurant is very small and cute. Couple of tables and a (complimentary?) tea station with a good variety!
